: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that in a recent interview with MX magazine, Rapper Eve addressed the gay rumors surrounding her, and the failure of her clothing line. Here's an excerpt of the interview:
HX MAG: What happened to your fashion line, Fetish? EVE: The last partner I had I was Marc Ecko, and we just didn’t see eye to eye. Instead of going to court, we just decided to let the contract die out. Now I’m with new partners, a group called Signature group, and they’re amazing. We’re relaunching the line this fall, and then we’re doing a big line in the spring, so it looks amazing. I’m so happy with it.Wow, gotta give her credit for being so honest...HX MAG: At what point in your career did you know the gay community supported you? EVE: I feel like they have always supported me from the time I came out. I always felt good if a gay person gave me props. Honestly, I feel like if a gay person gives you props, you must be doing something right. That’s just real, and I always felt like that. I wish I remembered this drag queen’s name…I was in downtown New York and she pulled me to the side and she was like, “Girl, you are hot! Okay? You don’t let nobody tell you different!” I loved it! I was like, “Thank you!” I’m happy I have the support.
HX MAG: Do you get approached a lot by women? EVE: Yeah, I used to more when I first came out. I’ve had people tell me straight up and down that I was gay—I still get it from people. I get more accusations than I actually do get hit on now.
HX MAG: Did it make you uncomfortable? EVE: Gay women are way more aggressive than men—I will definitely say that. [Laughs] But it doesn’t bother me. I’ve never been disrespected in any way. If I’m like, “Yo, I get it, but I don’t swing that way,” then it’s all love.
HX MAG: Why doesn’t the hip-hop community want gay support? EVE: Trust me, I’ve heard of and know of some instances of people in the industry who are gay or who have participated in certain situations. It’s a male-dominated industry, and for some reason they just don’t want to talk about it. I don’t understand why—I guess it’s a macho thing. It’s ridiculous to me. Me, I love it. The more support for me, the better!
HX MAG: So those stories about closeted gay or bisexual rappers in hip-hop aren’t just rumors? EVE: I can say of one specific situation that I know for sure.
HX MAG: Who is your celebrity girl-crush? EVE: My girl crush is Angelina Jolie. That’s an everybody girl-crush— that’s my dog’s crush! [Laughs] There is one more person: Dita Von Teese. I’m obsessed with her! I want a Dita Von Teese doll and I’ll be happy. She’s just bananas!

I agree@ Angel Is this surprising. I never thought about her sexuality it seemed obvious. A few years back someone alleged to have pictures floating on the internet of her in her stripper days letting a women go down on her at a house party or something. So this is no surprise. If true it just shows you have to watch what you do. You can lie or have your publicist do it for u, but once you go in front of a camera pictures and videos will tell on you.

The way these commentors go on the attack when there are stories on black *** men is just amazing given what I am reading right now. So black women can date black men, white women, white men, German Sheppards, etc., but a black man dating anyone other than a black women is out of the question? I'm glad that she decided to do away with the first Fetish Line because the *** was WACK. The clothing was so drab and boring and just didnt look like the design team out any real effort into making it fashionable,ya know something that people would want to spend money on. Black women look ok in certain shades of blond...actually people in general look ok with certain shades of blond depending on their skin tone. Like Lindsey Lohan looks a hot mess, blond and freckles do not go together. And really pale white people look half dead with blond hair.
Most white people don't naturally have bleach platinum blond hair so why Eve decided on that color I don't know. She'd look better with a warmer gold color with highlights but not bleach blond.
That's crazy cause my sister told me that she was a stripper and still was when she came out with her first single and she told me that she and all her strippers buddies used to eat each other out. Ha i knew she went that way! And her fashion line wouldn't have failed unless I had helped her with it!
