: The R Kelly trial is scheduled to take place next month. But sources in Chicago's Cook County State Attorney's office tell MediaTakeOut.com that there may not be a trial.
That's because, a source close to the case says that R Kelly and State Attorneys are on the verge of reaching a plea deal. An insider tells MediaTakeOut.com, "[The prosecution's] case hinged on the fact that the young woman in the video would either testify for [the prosecution] or not testify at all. Once Reshona [LAST NAME REDACTED] agreed testify on behalf of R Kelly, and say that she wasn't the girl in the video, it became nearly impossible for the prosecution to expect a conviction."
And the prospective deal appears all too generous for the 40 year old R Kelly - who is charged with 14 counts of child pornography. According to MediaTakeOut.com's source, the deal being offered would allow the R&B singer to escape serving any jail time at all. Tells our insider, "It would be up to the judge, but it's not likely that R Kelly would serve even a day in prison."

Stop being stupid and comparing Vick and R.Kelly. Do any of you understand how the court system works? R.Kelly would have been convicted if that girl had been willing to testify against him but she wouldn't cooperate, that's it, that's all. So it gives them no case. They can allege computer graphics as a means of placing doubt on the authenticity of the tape which is why it wasn't strong enough to got to trial based on that alone.
Vick on the other hand had concrete evidence such as bank statements and eye witnesses that placed him at these events. Since he had already lied and said he took no part in any of it, he lost all credibility.

And let me just reflect a lil bit... My daughter was with her aunt in the mall one day.. they spotted kells. the aunt loves him to death but was to nervous to go over to him to speak; and she probably wouldn't of been able to cuz she was crying to hard.... Anyway my daughter walked over to where he was and spoke out his name. When he seen it was my daughter he hugged her and kissed her and ask her how I was doing. Now my daughter is only 14yrs. old. He never made no attempt to touch her in no kind of way. Not to mention that was not her first time being in his presence either. I actually dated a guy that use to work with him, so my kids and I had the privileage all the time to see him when we got ready to. And still can right to this day. But all I'm saying is a predator knows his prey. I think he's learned a valuable lesson from his mistakes he's made. And like I said you put it down in the best way anybody could have.
I guess by listening to a lot of people's reactions he'll never be forgiven... but it doesn't really matter to him... long as the man upstairs forgive him that's all that counts.
