: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that soul singer Toni Braxton is suffering from breast cancer.
According to the National Enquirer, the 'Unbreak My Heart' singer is undergoing radiation treatment and chemotherapy in secret.
Braxton reportedly learned that she was carrying the disease two months ago, but preferred to keep the news to herself. Doctors tell Braxton that she caught the disease early enough to beat it.
Braxton is not expected to continue with her 'Toni Braxton: Revealed' show at the Flamingo hotel and casino while undergoing treatment.
Thusfar, MediaTakeOut.com has learned that doctors have been pumping an iron concoction into her twice a week. This mixture is said to fight the fatigue caused by her chemotherapy.
"Toni is a fighter. She initially thought the worst, but doctors assured her the prognosis for her breast cancer is excellent. She still has moments when she gets upset and she may cry a little bit - but those moments don't last long," a family source was quoted as telling the National Enquirer.
Such sad news, i'm sure she's devasted especially dealing with a sick child. Good Luck to Toni

Listen sweety I'm sorry to hear you were molested by your father and your uncles for most of your childhood and early teens. So while the rest of us were hearing "hey go clean your room" all you kept hearing was "hey ***". So I can understand how the name just stuck with you. See and now your hooked. I hope this is a false rumor. I work on an oncology floor and cancer isn't somethin you want to battle with, it's a beast! I'm praying for you Toni if it is true. Ladies, remember to do a self breast exam after your cycle monthly-cause the sooner you catch it the better! Women over 35, please have your yearly mammogram-it's so important, and it could mean life or death-think about it!

I hope it isn't true, but if the Enquirer has the story...it probably is...they pay their sources enough to get your mama to tell what she knows on you...The Sister-Sister Article did NOT mention anything about cancer...she was planning on playing Vegas for a few more years for her kids' stability...I'll pray for her...maybe someone on this site knows of some holistic remedies?
Toni Braxton is my fav. female singer of all time...I feel bad for not knowing this sooner. I mean since she's done so much in secret obviously she doesnt want it plastered across every news outlet but hey...you know how nosy people are. I wish her the VERY best of luck and I will keep her in all my prayers.

I know its very heart breaking did you know she had a heart condition call pericarditis she found out by a routine exam. She was like she had *** of breath and was tired and she went to get it check out and found out her father had two heart attacks and nobody told her she said I could be dead just by secrets in the family.
I truly admire the woman Toni has become. She's dealing with her son's autism like an educated mom. I pray she passes thru this current fire in her life. She recently had an interview with Jamie Foster and it wasn't revealed so I'm quite sure she didn't want that info revealed. Whoever sold her medical info to the National Enquirere, should be reported, sued and fired. You can sue for people telling your medical information.
This is the one time, that I hope MTO is really wrong. Cancer is serious business and I know what her and her family is going through. My four-year-old niece(R.I.P) had a cancerous brain tumor and we lost her in July 2006. I hope that she beats this disease. It is very hard, but I am confident that cancer can be beat. I am also very mad at the person that told her medical information. It is suppose to be confidential and I agree that they should be sued and fired. I wish Toni Braxton and her family the best.

this is a false rumor.toni issued the following statement saying that she does not have breast cancer: “There has been a rumor circulating that I have been diagnosed with breast cancer. After feeling something uncomfortable in my left breast, I went in for a screening. I was very fortunate that they did not find anything and I am in great health. However, I encourage women to take their annual tests and suggested precautions to prevent this disease that continues to affect so many women.”
