: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that the U.S. release date of Amerie's new album Because I Love It has been postponed indefinitely. And according to insiders over at Columbia Records, the album, which got some radio play in Europe, doesn't look like it will ever see the time of day in the US.
Look on the bright side, she can always do a Cassie and start modeling cheap t-shirts on the internet....

To the person that said that Amerie was robbed by Bey, well, Amerie were working with Rich Harrison first but he is not her exclusive producer he done work for other Sony artists, Bey, DC, J-Lo, Kelly! But correct me if I'm wrong but wasnt Crazy In Love out long before Get Right and One Thing! And wasnt it a bigger hit! Bey made it a hit and then everyone wanted to follow suit!
Umm please Amerie, and Rihanna do modelin and save us the singin...if it didnt work b4 it never will...some people need to realize just bcuzz ur pretty does not entitle you to do anything you want. Whoever is managing her career is a fool. Why would you release the album in the UK first? All of the songs are out you can easily download them on the net, why would you pay for "free" music?
She's not Prince who can give away his music free in the UK but sell out 21 shows and get paid. Her people should have released it in the US and then take the show to the UK.

shes wack..point blank..yes shes a pretty girl and seems to have a nice personality..but she doesnt have the "IT" factor and never will..just because you look good and have talent, doesnt mean you have what it takes to be a star..this girl cant keep trying to force it to happen..maybe she can host a show or get into acting..but singing isnt working..lets be realistic..she came out back in 2002..its 2007 and she has yet to gain any real success..yes she had a couple of songs that were ok, but aint nobody trying to see Amerie in concert or rush out to cop her albums..maybe she can be a successful songwriter or producer and help other artists

How can u force feed an artist to the world? It's the ppl in the world who makes the artist which is why Beyonce has more fans and support than all the other black female artists which is why she is everywhere b/c she is the most popular. Why is Bey always getting blamed for every other black female artists downfall? Ya'll can't make Beyonce fans stop loving her and until they do she is going to be on top and placed in front of everybody else. so instead of blaming her for everything go buy Amerie's album or something b/c Bey definitely doesn't need your support b/c she has plenty of it. I just can't understand what the hell Bey has to do w/ Amerie's downfall.
Just when I started to really like her she falls off. When she first dropped I thought her song was hot the album was ok. Her second joint was hot though and I thought she was back with the One Thing single but when that song died so did her career. I think she is a beautiful girl and she can sing but I have noticed by listening to her albums that her voice can be irritating. It's sad though Kelis goes through the same thing, her second album Wanderland was never released in the US.
I wish everybody would stop blaming Beyonce for every half talented females downfall. That girl is undenialbly a great singer, dancer and performer and she puts in work. She didn't just wake up one day and decided she wanted to be a singer this is her life. Stop hatin on B and give her the props she deserves!
