: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that R&B singer Lil' Mo's on-again, off-again marriage to entrepreneur Al "Gus" Stone is officially over. The relationship, which has been documented in Sister 2 Sister Magazine and many of the singer's hit songs, has been extremely turbulent.
The turbulence began last year when the couple announced that they were separating. Then, this past April they announced that they were reconciling. But now, Lil Mo claims they're done for good.
Lil Mo explained, "We are officially over! Paperwork and all! It didn't work out and we've been back and forth because we realize we are two good people who made bad decisions and have parted amicably. We have been a part for a while and just never told anyone because that is the one thing we should have kept private but didn't. We realized you can't be together just 'cause your friends say y'all look cute together."
Mo and Stone have two daughters together, Heaven, 5, and God'iss, 2.
But there's more to the story. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that the R&B diva has moved on to another love. Lil Mo is currently dating and is engaged to an aspiring gospel singer named Phillip Bryant. The singer explained, "I'm happy ... I totally respect him as a man. I can say I've never been able to be a lady until now... Really I'm in no rush. But why wait? If it works, it works! If it doesn't at least we tried."
No word on when the two plan on getting married.
she was on Wendy Williams a couple of months ago and said that she and her husband have been split up for a long time but theyre still friends for the sake of the children and they still have ***..that relationship seemed very odd..she said she has no interest in dating other men and that her ex husband is the only one thats allowed to hit it..I dont know, that sounded a little screwed up to me..but now shes engaged so I guess things change

Her husband kept sleeping back with his ex wife, that's why him and Lil Mo kept breaking up and getting back together. He was married when he met Lil Mo but seperated. So I guess you can say if he did all this to his wife then why did Mo think he was a "changed man" when he got with her?? He's a truck driver, so I'm sure he's meeting all types of chicks over the road!!
@FIIGUY1 - - You are talking from your azz cuz Lil' Mo grew up in the church and her parents are pastors, so why would it be hard for her to get on with a religious brotha??? And on top of that, Mo doesn't sing about how she knows how to make a sprite can disappear in her mouth or about anything really negative so her music is okay. She's one of a few that I like still today, and you heard what she said that he respects her so therefore whether she sings about drugs, *** or whateva.....he loves her...flaws and all!!! I read that article in Sister 2 Sister mag and I could tell that lil Mo got alot of Drama wit her..I *** wit her but she is ghetto and her and that husband was letting too many people in their business and all that baby mama drama he had. I knew it wasn't gonna last too much longer because Mo got alot of mouth and probably didnt let that man be a man but also he was cheating too much and not representing his woman. So it is what it is..
