Shes an actress and does what she does good. It is sad to be exploited but hell we go and watch the movies and sometimes they pick out who they think is best, or who will bring in good ratings. Halle is making 13million PER film. No reason to pick second rate flicks. How is it that sistas who make considerably less per film are willing to work in respectable films(Sanaa Lathan, Wendy RAquel Robinson, Gina Ravera, etc). Alot of women who post "she gotta make money" are basically stating that there is no limit to the levels you would go to to make money. Too many sistas are on this "I gotta do it" mindset which is why hollywood and entertainment dont value sistas too much. Angela Bassett was offered Monster's Ball first but she reneged saying "that was not her type of movie". If acting is a craft, I'd be selective about what I chose too but constantly bearing my behind wouldn't be one.

It' obvious that Halle has problems and issues with men. She certainly is one of the most beautiful women ever, but her image of herself is low and it continues to surface in not only her public but private life. Any academy award winning actress need not take these humiliating roles. Athough this could be the reason she won the award. Who else is willing to show that much this often. Why are all the roles so sexually charged. One more step with Billy Bob and it would/could have been deemed porno. Until Halle decides to demand roles that are illuminating for her image, she should give it up. The roles are tailored towards a C-list actress and Halle has been deemed much more than that. Keep your legs closed Halle, that's no barometer for acting, or maybe that's the way you want to be deemed as an actress. Think it over.
I feel all ya'll on ya'll comments, but I must say this, Halle is very talented,and some of her eldest work was the best, but when Monster ball came out....OMG she finally won an Oscar on that...was it the fact she was playing drunk, or when she slapped her boobies in Billy B's face.....
