@MIZZKINGSTON10, I agree with you. He *** be that suprised...I don't believe in grouping different music into one pot and then picking the best album. The VMAs mixes Hip Hop, R&B and Pop into one catagory. How can you pick the best album from three different styles of music? I don't think its fare, but who am I to judge????

Come on, for real. I have felt like that before after working hard on something and not getting recognized. He is just being human and expressing his emotions. We are taught that it's wrong to act like that though. Dude puts effort into his work unlike some people, and I for one can appreciate the originality. A message to Kanye and people like him. We have athletes,entertainers in this world that have not gotten the awards they deserved. Take it to the chin and suck it up your time will come. Do your music because you love it don't look for anything else. You are a smart dude and talented. But you are really turning people off my dude. God blessed you with a talent not awards. I agree with everything you said...Kanye is very talented and has a right to be upset. Everyone knows that MTV caters to white young teens BUT nobody ever says anything because they always want to be 'politically correct' and make sure they don't anyone riled up. Kanye doesn't give a ***. He tells it like it is and although people may look at him like a 'big crybaby' he is right! MTV and others like MTV exploit our music, use it to gain viewership/listeners but then never give us our props. What more black entertainers (like Kanye) need to do is ban going to stations/programs like MTV to let them know that they won't be treated like that anymore. And the fans need to support them instead of breaking on them because in the end its US that suffer...listen to the music that is out these days. ***! ***! Why? Because we (well not me) let the MTV era dictate what music is hot. We need to stop that...and yes IT IS that serious.
