: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s adopted daughter Zahara was born with a serious condition. The condition, hip dysplasia, is a congenital condition in which the thigh bone is improperly connected to the hip. This condition, if not treated could severely impact the way that little Zahara walks and runs.
But the news gets worse for baby Zahara. MediaTakeOut.com discovered that the only way to be sure to correct the disorder is with a risky surgery. According to Dr Richard Berger, a Chicago orthopedic surgeon, “There is a risk of infection, scar tissue forming on the hip, and the risk [of death] with anesthesia … Surgery is the last option because of the possible risks.”
It’s not clear whether Zahara will undergo the corrective surgery.
This baby may need hip surgery and someone is concerned about her "HAIR"? how insane Besides she is a baby...every kids hair looks like that at the end of a day.But lets weight the issues...hair...or physical health...which is more important.??? Zahara is so well of she can get all the hair care she desires when she comes of age.
Per wikipedia.com: In humans, hip dysplasia manifests in early life at a rate of about 4 per thousand. It usually manifests from birth, is more common in girls, highest in firstborns, and is associated in part with conditions such as breech birth and other conditions.
Which may explain why they carry her. But I'm sorry MTO lies so much, it's a catch 22 here, pick and choose what you believe. Wow!
any surgery can be life threatening. They are not saying her condition is life threatening but the surgery is. They say that to most parents who have a child undergoing these types of surgeries. Surgery is very serious.People are so busy trying to "BUST" MTO..they are not thinking...just trying to *** down everything they post..its its so much lies and nonsense why read if it ruffles your feathers so?
MTO, you people are a bunch of idiots that hype things up..the risks that the doctors described are common risks for all surgical proceedures..Brad and Angelina are going to get the best surgical team in the world to work on this little girl, so Im not worried one bit..now if Zahara was a child that lived in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn, and had to go to the county hospital because she only has Medicaid-then I would be worried
my daughter had hip dysplasia when she was born. all the doctors did was put her in a brace since she was young and her bones were still soft. she wore the brace ( that put her legs in a 90 degree angle) for 24 hours for 5 months and the hip sockets formed right. if caught early surgey is not needed. I pray everything turns out for the best. since she is still young the brace should work too.
This is for all the readers that allow MTO to play with their heart strings:
D-Listed Yesterday I posted a story about how Zahara Jolie-Pitt needed hip surgery, because her hips don't work or something. Well, that was all a lie or so they say. Her hips DO lie.
Brad's rep said, "It's not true, and I told the magazine that printed it - but they chose to run it anyways." I feel so violated.
Great, now I have to spend my Friday *** taking down my prayer shrine to Z's hip.
It looks like Angie and Brad only carry her around, because Z owns their ***.
I'm only telling you this, because I have nothing else to tell you. Slow. I say we eff all this and go and get drunk. It's after 12 which makes it OK.
EVERY SURGERY IS POTENTIALLY LIFE THREATENING!
Even so-called simple ones. There are risks with every one of them. Even the freakin' anesthesia poses a threat. But... surgery on kids is scary, and I pray that all goes well. Kids usually heal quicker and better than us grown folks too, so best wishes.
I love little Z and not just because I'm black! She is soo cute. I hope this is inflated like 80% of your stories MTO. But if not, my prayers go out to her and the Jolie-Pitt "Fam". I love that they have a home full of different ethnicities. They are beautiful and genuinely care about others. It's an example that we need in this crazy *** celebrity world! So what Angie stole Brad from Jen. I don't like her anyway. She didn't do anything to me but I can't stand looking at her with her long chin and stupid hairstyle that needed to change 5 years ago!!
CATEYES20 AND JEANGREY, I so agree with you. If this is a true story and I repeat "IF", how darn crazy is it to be worried about Z's hair. If Z's hair was the only concern of pitt and jolie regarding their daughter that would be WONDERFUL. I guarantee you that-that far from their minds. What if it was your daughter, your mother, your friend, YOU!!!
Maybe her hair isn't a concern of theirs right now. They obviously love her beyond that. They loved her so much that they adopted regardless of the condition of her hair. There are some really ignorant, misplaced concerns of people in this world.
BLACKISBACK----why would I be interested in E-brawling with you. There is enough black on black crime. There enough brawling period. You have your opinion and I have mine. You came @ me and I had to get @ cha'. When I something to say I AM GOING TO SAY IT.
"I sound old and weak" why b'c I am not calling you B's and using profanity. Not my character and You are not about to be allowed to change me. enough said, I'M DONE AND DONE MOVE ON!!!
BLESSINGS TO HER AND HER FAMILY..........
