: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that at least one of Flavor Flav's children may be in trouble. According to one of our faithful readers, Flav is refusing to help out his kids who's facing a financial crisis. Here's what they had to say:
I regret to inform that [Flav's] oldest kids are on the verge of becoming homeless! That's right. Although the oldest kids appeared on the show, things haven't changed financially. They've contacted their father for financial help and he's refuses to answer their calls...Maybe because he's in Hawaii with his "gold-diggin" girlfriend. Anyhow, the oldest kids will be homeless unless their father decides to step in and do the right thing. In fact, there is a rumor that one of the oldest is already living in a shelter!Dang Flav, that's not cool...
I BELIEVE HIS ELDEST CHILD IS A BOY, IN COLLEGE. HOWEVER, FLAVOR FLAV HAS BEEN NOTORIOUSLY KNOWN FOR NOT PAYING CHILD SUPPORT. HIS CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE HOMELESS FOR ANY REASON. IF HE WAS PAYING CHILD SUPPORT FOR HIS CHILDREN INSTEAD OF DOING DRUGS, THEY WOULDN'T OF BEEN IN THIS PREDICAMENT...........AND WOMEN SLAY ME "WHY WOULD ANYBODY WANT TO BEAR HIS CHILDREN KNOWING HE IS A LOSER"!
Flave only cares about himself.. The greed and hunger for money, thats why he keeps doing all these reality tv shows. He has no talent, and the only way to get money now is to act a *** fool on national television.. What a career...!!!! If this story is true, something bad is going to happen to him. He may be getting away with it now, but what goes around comes around. And when it happens, he will understand that if he lived his life more positively, then maybe he wouldnt be in this situation... Karma baby, it will come and bite you right in the ***!!!!!!!!LMAO!!!!!!!!

Well is anyone actually surprised? He has been known for not paying child support for his kids. You saw how he acted on Strange Love when Briget Nielson gave one of his baby mamas the phone number to reach him...he went off. That is a shame. Instead of smoking away all his money and spending it on that white chick he needs to take care of them kids that were here first.
He needs to help his kids but I don't know how much help he can give. Why is there going to be a third season of Flav of Love? Aren't people tired of these women embarassing themselves and acting a fool for this ugly a$$ man (I'm being nice), If I had to make out with Flav I would be on suicide watch.
why doesn't this suprise me. i don't understand how you can have a children in the world and not want to take care of them. Flav has had money out the azz and should have trust funds for his kids. this is just selfish with his uuuuuuuggllly flea looking azz!!

Im im not mistaken, his eldest kids are adults now..and his children, along with his babys mothers, have known for years that Flav never paid his child support and never took care of his kids..so why are they depending on him now? did they think he was going to start kicking in some money now that hes a reality tv star? NOPE..and now that these kids are adults, FLav has no legal obligation to take care of them..a zebra never changes its stripes..so Flav is gonna be FLav..these stupid *** babys mothers should have prepared for these childrens futures without relying on FLav..they should have taught their kids the value of education and sent their assses to college and made these children work for a living..Flav became a reality star very recently, so he didnt have any money until recently..his Public Enemy money was long gone..so what were these kids and their moms doing for money when Flav was broke? these kids need to go out and get a job like everyone else..what makes them think they can sit on their *** and collect checks from their father? theyre not kids anymore..they need to get it together and realize their father is never going to step up and take care of them so they need to take care of themselves..point blank
I dont know when will these kids be able to do something for themselves..you can not depend on your parents for all your life. That kid has a baby how come she doesnt get welfare or something instead of being on the streets? Maybe Flav is tired of giving money to children that have no idea how to help themselves.
Time out...Aren't his oldest kids GROWN? I'm pretty sure they are, in which case MTO's faithful reader should state "they will be homeless unless they go out, get a *** job and work to keep a roof over their heads like the rest of us".
He's their father not an ATM...Once you are grown, take care of your *** self...
I think his oldes kids are grown, I remember one of his daughters had a child of their own so she needs to be taking care of herself. Whats up with them waiting on him to do something? Why not help yourself, he aint the only sorry baby daddy out here, leave him where he is at and move on and be something, stop waiting on him to take care of you, especially if they are grown.
First of all this is a big lie. There's no way that any of his kids would be homeless. If it came to that point, they have a bunch of family that love them that would take them in a heartbeat. As much family that they have in Freeport and Roosevelt, who I know personnally. Please give it up MTO. Some friendly advice. This could be a problem spreading lies about this man's family. You can be sued for slander.

DIVAMARIE: if you watched flava of love season 1 then you seen his mother cuz he invited her on the show so she could meet the girls. They all were suppose to prepare a dinner and his mother was suppose to choose who's dinner taste the best and whoever won they was suppose to go out to dinner with him and his mother. Hoops won I believe.
Flav's had a problem paying child support all along, so if this is true, it wouldn't surprise me. If the kids over 18, then true, Flav isn't obligated to support him/her, but I'd think one of Flav's older kids would know it was a waste of time to ask him.

I am a single parent. As we speak, I am in the process of buying my first house for myself and my 3 kids.
I only get a small amount of child support from their father but that will not stop me.
My eldest son is buying this house with me. It will be 'Our Family Home!!' My son is more man than his father could ever dream about being!! He is a true, strong and a dependable black man and he is only 19.
When I die, I will be living this house to the 3 of them. Dead or alive, my children will never be homeless!! That is what real parents do!!
ReeReethepoet I commend you on what you've done and how you're taking care of your kids but what if your kids are totally ingrates...they steal, are freeloaders, drug addicts, deadbeats and not doin' a single thing with their lives. See my Moms taught me tough love....meaning that I had go out an make a living and name for myself and I thank her everyday for it. Sometimes you have to let go and let your kids grow up and become adults otherwise it can make the parents life totally miserable.

God has blessed me with 3 wonderful children. As time goes on, I pray they stay on the straight and narrow as they are now. It took a lot of prayers, work, sleepless *** and a lot of heartache to raise my children to be the people they and do it alone. But it has truly paid off thus far.
I don't know what it's like have a child like what you have described. I can only pray for those parents and the children so seem to be so lost.
You are so right about letting your child go and letting your child grow and learn on their on but a good parent will have instilled in their child that "Even though I have let you go, no matter how far you go or how hard you fall, I will be right here to pick you up, dust you off and send you (hopefully stronger) back into the world."
It is my joy to be there for my children...right wrong or indifferent (this is how my mother taught me to be).

Flav can't help his kids because he's broke too! Why yall think he coming back with a third season of his crappy show. That house doesn't belong to him. Vh-1 is just renting that house. That's the same house that's been used in Charm School, I love NY, and Rock of Love they just re-decorate it and set *** up differently. He broke and he need to stop fronting and acting like he got money. He was in Hawaii because everything was probably compt. Celebs don't have to pay for anything.
And I have and still do use 'tough love' with my kids. And I do mean with the 19 year old.
My kids already know "I don't play dat!!!" I only have to say, "Come mer for a second, I want let me show you something..." They know what it is and straighten right up.
My daugther was showin out in school one time and they called me...while I was at work... I told them to put her on the phone. See at that time I didn't have a car and she thought I couldn't get to her cuz she knew I would be there in a heartbeat. I told her, "Don't I think can't get to you cuz I don't have a car." You will look around and I will be right behind you, now how do you want it?!" "This can go one of two ways...hard or easy...choose one!!"
Like day say, "6 million ways to die...choose one!!"

Some of you all are clueless. People can be working homeless. There are people who are working but if they cannot earn enough for their family to pay rent and utilities and food for your children you can become homeless with a job. It's surprising how callous some people can be when most people are only a paycheck away themselves from being homeless! People can be law abiding citizens who can fall on bad times this can happen to anyone! *** shame how selfish some people would be with their own family. No wonder the black family unit is falling apart. Sometimes just a small helping hand helps you don't have to go overboard giving all your money!
Their is a blind item about about a black hip hop artist who doesn't take care of his black children, but now that he has a biracial child, he plans on taking care of this one and being in their life. I wonder who that is???

When he first started out, he was pro-black, funny how times change.
Now, he's gone Hollywood and that lovable act is just that, an act, and he has no qualms about beating a woman in the streets, in full view of everyone but due to his manufactured image, you would never guess that he's a batterer behind closed doors.
As for his pro-black stance, that's a joke too. He has baby mama drama and he's never done anything for his black kids yet a woman recently gave birth to his first biracial child and all the sudden, he's "father of the year."
He was telling his boys, he was thinking about opening up a trust fund for this new baby and he's going to be in this baby's life, unlike he was with his black kids.
And, a few of his longtime friends are now former friends. They are disgusted with his behavior and don't want to have anything to do with him despite his celebrity, they consider him a "bad joke."

Maybe he had a job and I laid off now just can't find a job as fast as the bills roll around. People go through hard trials, everybody ain't lucky just to get everything on a silver platter. My parents would help me if I called them today or tomorrow and say I'm unemployed and need a little help. A real loving parent would help you. Flav a loser and a uncle tom that's full of sh*t.
If FLAV's kid is an adult. He doesn't need to pay there bills. Flav's got 8 kids and they are all probably asking for money. The mother's want a piece too. Don't act like yall don't know. So they are going to come up with some of everything. My husband's baby mama (lives in Jamaica)call and told my husband that her daughter bled 6 bottles of blood. I don't even hold that amount of blood..even if it were in a 120z bottle. Women need to stop giving it up to these men! Especially stop giving it up and not using a condomn. Your mother loves you very much and it shows. She taught you all that she knows and you have taken that knowledge and have used it well. And it will serve you more and more as your life goes on!! I try to inspire and uplift all that I can, when ever I can. I am not perfect by any stretch of the Imagination. But I try and that is the point of why we are all here...It's to try and make life better for all!!
I don't just work with my children. I started an anti-*** program at my youngest son's school last school year. I call the program "The Pen is Mightier than the Sword" It is a poetry/rap session. I try to get the kids to talk and write about there feelings instead of them letting the pain and anger build up inside until they explode. It was a great success!!!
My job is to inspire. I truly feel that is why I am here. This is my job...this is what I do. I don't do it for money. My payment is when I see those kids SMILE :)
