: Looks like the Knowles family may be trying to make good with former Destiny's Child member LeToya Luckett after all. MediaTakeOut.com is hearing whispers that LeToya has agreed to sing a duet with Beyonce's younger sister Solange Knowles on Solange's upcoming album.
According to a person who worked with LeToya 's good friend, Solange and Beyonce's former rival are scheduled to go into the studio any day now to record the track. The insider tells MediaTakeOut.com, " LeToya may have had problems with Beyonce and her father, but she's always been friendly with Solange ... [and] with all the attention the single's going to get, it's bound to be a hit."

"The Knowles family trying to make good" - making good would be to not have that not talent, coat-tail dragging Beyonce wanna-be Solange, anywhere near LaToya. I think Latoya has made enough of a name for herself where she doesn't need the help to that hack. She better watch out, Papa Knowles already used her once, he'll use her again to try to get Solong(yes I spelled it SO Long)in the spot light.
This sounds like it could be true. The reason I say that is because Matthew has a reputation for not helping anyone but his family. He's probably figures that if he appears to be helping LaToya then everyone will forget what he did to her and the other girl in the past, and that will somehow make it look like he's changed and the industry will see him in a different light. When in reality, he will by any means necessary try to get Solange on. She has done a duet with Beyonce and Kelly and that didn't work. Now he reaches for one of the girls that he kicked in the head years back only because his precious front runners didn't work. He is probably running out of time, because if he doesn't hurry up and get this girl on, there is no telling what she will do next.
Matthew, this sceme may work if you help someone just once without attaching any of your family members. You used DC to launch Beyonce, I don't think that trick will work again. NEXT!
I think that's good because it'll give Beyonce' something to think about. I mean Beyonce' is the sh*t right now and she do have a lot going for herself, but what she needs to realize is that the world doesn't revolve around her. There is absolutely no female performer out here who can't do the same stuff she's doing. And why err'body making her out to be the best....she's copied just about err'*** thing she's done. British singer DES'REE is suing BEYONCE KNOWLES, claiming she ignored copyright rules when recording a cover of her hit KISSING YOU. Des'ree filed a lawsuit in Manhattan yesterday (18Apr07), alleging Knowles never obtained proper clearance to use the song she wrote. According to the suit, obtained by TMZ.com, Des'ree claims the terms her team submitted to Knowles for use of the song were not satisfactory, and as a result the former Destiny's Child star ignored copyright law and recorded her own version. The terms stated Knowles couldn't retitle the song or film a video using the track. Knowles recorded the track as Still In Love (Kissing You) for the new Deluxe Edition of her B'Day album. Des'ree is seeking $150,000 (GBP77,000) in damages.

Didnt they handle that already when she took the song off of the re-release, I heard that money wont come from Bey's pockets, Sony's paying for it! The label has to take responsibility also, Since Bey was one of the highest selling artists at Sony, the heads at Sony will tae care of it and probably already have. Dr.Dre goes through it alot but Jimmy Iovine and the other execs give them pocket change in the settlement. As much as you blame Beyonce for this, its mainly Sony's problem, not the artist!

Matthew is her manager and being that they came to Sony with some made up lie about Beyonce being a producer and Sony went on and produce the material that Matthew presented to them who's at fault. Well Matthew for lying and not following the copyright laws.....

I dont get why she would go and see Donna Summer for clearacne for the Naughty Girl Sample but not Des'ree! The story I got back was that she got clearncy to do the song but Bey wasnt suppose to do a video or change lyrics or title. But she *** the video and changed words around. Des'ree cleared the cover but it was not right of Beyonce to *** the video.

I dont think she stole it but she did break the rules of the contract, I remember Des'ree people saying that she got clearency, If she gets an okay from other artists that she sampled, why would she not get the okay from Des'ree. They said that Des'ree was suing because she went and *** a video and etc, not for her recording it without permission.

She did do a collab with Beyonce on her album "Solo Star". So your theory is wrong, it didn't work. And she doesn't always have hits, did you hear B'Day or did you just skip that album. Like I said earlier, he already tried Beyonce and he also tried Kelly on "Simply Deep". You know he was going to try his frontrunners before he tried anything else. The reason you haven't heard about these songs is because they were not hits.
And by the way, who could really take another hottest chick in the game mentality or whatever her Boo decides to call her. I'm sure that is what you will get if she ever gets the spotlight.
