: Just when you thought that the Shaquille- Shaunie O'Neal divorce couldn't get any stranger. MediaTakeOut.com has exclusively learned that over the weekend Shaunie sent Shaq a 10-plus-page letter where she virtually begged the 7 foot basketball player not to divorce her.
We spoke with one of Shaunie's friends who told us all about the letter. The insider explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "[Shaunie] poured out all of her feelings in that letter ... It probably wasn't the best thing for her to do legally, but it's a last ditch effort to save her marriage." The insider continues, "The divorce is devastating [to Shaunie], she loves Shaquille very much and is willing to do anything to get things back the way they were."
Shaq filed to divorce Shaunie early last month. The NBA great suggested, in the divorce filings, that Shaunie misappropriated a substantial amount of his assets.

Just like any other married couple...they're having problems...I personally think he should give her a second chance because I'm pretty sure he done ***'ed up other then messing around with superhead and Shaunie gave him a second chance. I do not believe couples should stay married for the sake of the children. Never. That will emotionally scar a child growing up in a household where the parents argue, bicker and fight all the time. I have a cousin who wishes her parents had divorced when she was a child.
focus.... that is not true in every case. My best friends parents were not happy. They did not get a divorce until both of them were out of high school. My girl CONSTANTLY thanks her parents for not exposing them to that. She was a daddy's girl for real and she would have been devestated that at age 10 her daddy is no longer at thier house. Its all about maturity. Her parents were seriously unhappy but they made a CHOICE not to fight in front of the kids. So my girl had no idea about what was going on. But as soon as her little bro walked across that stage they split up. I think if your kids are little they have a better chance of adjusting to it but the older they get the more crucial that change will be.
Another example.... When my mom passed I found letters between my parents talking about hoe one of them wanted a divorce and went on and on describing the why's. I had NO IDEA growing up my parents relationship was that rocky. ROCKY FOR REAL. Not all parents fight in front of thier kids. I NEVER heard my dad raise his voice to my mom and vice versa and according to those letters I found BOTH had ample reasons to do so. I honestly believe my parents stuck it out for me and my brothers and eventually rekindled that relationship they lost. I swear you did NOT see one of my parents without the other especially after they retired. They were like best friends for real. At thier retirement party my mom went on about how much she loved my dad and her life with him. They were married 41 years until she died. Its all about individual CHOICE and WORK. But don't make generalizations based on YOUR experience. For some it's best to go. For others it's best to stay. FOR THE KIDS or not.
