: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that actor Mekhi Phifer and his fiancée Oni Souratha welcomed their first child together into the world on Tuesday.
The 5 lbs. 4 oz boy, named Mekhi Thira Phifer, was born in Los Angeles. Both the mother and child are doing fine.
This is Oni's first child and Mekhi's second. His eldest son, Omikaye, is from his first marriage to actress Malinda Williams.
yeah yeah yeah...Congrats, but did anyone check out the interview years ago in Honey magazine with Malinda Williams. He gave his side of the story and I was blown away at this dude's attitude. He gave her a hard time about being there when their son was born (he didn't see the reason he should be there) and made a comment about going home to her and seeing her hair wrapped up in a rag and not getting any head. I thought that was a bit tacky on his part.
He has been with plenty black women. Who gives a *** who he is with right at this moment. And believe me when I say, right at this moment. ecuasionz...it has nothing to do with which race of female is the problem..we as a people need to come off of that too...it is so lame......the bottom line it is his choice for whatever reason..and we are not going to get deep as to why it is his choice or any of that. And not all black men choose to date outside of their race, because I *** sure do not have a problem attracting black men and I have dated several black men who have dated white women before me.
WELL..It was also reported that he cheated on Malinda several different times with several different woman. He is not a faithful man from what I've read, but who is faithful in Hollywood these days anyway. Well Congrats Oni, I hope he doesn't do you dirty like he did Malinda. @ MISTIBLUE'S COMMENT; OMG, I too read that article in Honey and since that day, I've made it a point not to support anything he's done. I was shocked and disgusted. I'm sure he wishes he could retract that statement...after all, their son may read it one day!

i agree, i read the interview and i was disgusted at Mekhi.
he is a man *** in my opinion, that's why the marriage between him and Melinda didn't work, she said he cheated and from what i read in the article he didn't deny it but tried to give reasons for why he did so.
