: Poor Kelly Rowland. It looks like she’s going to have to wait a little longer for her next album to come out. The album, entitled Miss Kelly, was previously scheduled to come out in the spring of this year. And up until now, people at Kelly’s label were holding out hope that they’d be able to meet the deadline.
But now it looks like that’s not going to happen. And according to one Columbia Records insider, Kelly’s management is to blame. The tipster explains, “in order for Kelly’s album to come out, her management has to be ready to put it out. Right now they’re not.”
Kelly Rowland is managed by Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles.
But not everyone that Mathew manages is getting their album pushed back. Solange Knowles, Mathew’s other singing daughter, is scheduled to have her album released in a few months.
Kelly Rowland’s first solo album, Simply Deep, was released in 2002. It sold more than 500,000 copies in the U.S. and produced the chart topping hit Dilemma (which featured rap artist Nelly).
By contrast, Solange’s last album, Solo Star, sold fewer than 60,000 copies in the U.S.

But to get back on the subject of Kelly, this young lady has a beautiful voice, and just as fast as I bought her last CD, I'll buy this one. It needs to be out TOMORROW, but my mother always told me, "There's a reason for everything". Only God knows what's gonna happen and as far as Matthew - he can only do what God ALLOWS him to do.

This is messed up but that's the way it's always been from the start. It's ONLY about Beyonce. Heck, Solange don't even get as much airtime as Beyonce. Think about all the artists that Mathew manages.....none of them are going anywhere. Their records have done nothing. Kelly's voice is beautiful and always has been but like 'Dreamgirls', she wasn't the best looking one and she wasn't the REAL daughter to the manager. This is so sad to me because Kelly will never be more than she is if she doesn't switch management. I'm sure that's hard for her to do because of her relationship with the Knowles. Plus, we don't know if her and Beyonce and Michelle have beef or not, considering how things turned out. I think they respect each other too much to put the other on blast like that. But assuming everything is okay, I'm sure that would affect the realtionship between Beyonce and Kelly if she did fire Mathew......I just think she's in a bad situation right now.

Kelly now needs to stand on her own two feet and get new management. To add fuel to the fire, Kelly really can sing. I heard her cd was finished before Beyonce's and Mathew pushed it back. That's probably why Beyonce did her cd in two weeks, so she could come out before Kelly. Kelly really needs to find new management because as long as Mathew is her manager she will always be second, or should I say third to his daughters. Matthew was such a *** to Latoya and Lativa. He is the reason why Writings on the Wall is Destiny's only big selling album. Survivor only sold like 3 or 4 million and the last album sold 3 million, but 2 million are in a warehouse with 500,000 copies of Beyonce's awful B-Day. Beyonce isn't that big. She is overrated by the media. Dangerouly in Love only sold 4 million in the US. This was not a blockbuster album.
I think Kelly is the best singer of the group, and if Kelly would have left from under matthew knowles she would have been another success story like Letoya Luckett; because in the long run he only care about his real daughters. That's naturally for a father to think about his kids before anyone else kids. Beyonce doesn't even stick up for her so called friend either so she is no better than her dad and mom. By now everyone should know that Matthew Knowles comes with some heavy duty baggage. He can refute anything in the media while it looks otherwise. I love Beyonce and her work but in order for Kelly 2 have a sucessful career she needs 2 let Matthew go cause he's only intrested in promotin Beyonce and Wit tha rite management Kelly can b just as big as Beyonce becuz Kelly is VERY Talented and as long as she works wit him he will continue to make Beyonce overshadow Kelly and he's been that way since Destiny's Child first came out. Who did not know this was going to happen. I am a huge Kel fan and I know Kel. Kelly is one to give people the benefit of the doubt (Matthew). She really loves the Knowles family, but it appears that at the end of the day Matthew is all about "the Knowles" family and no one else. Kel is a sweety. The tracks that she has recorded are so hot...Gotsta Go w/ da brat {Crazy Track}, Every Thought is u (Addicted) [Blazing], Whoop (which is suppose to be the first single), Wat it Do (HOT, HOT, HOT), Ghetto w/ Snoop {Nice street/club feel}, Still in love with my Ex (Speaks for itself) and some other track with Tank and hopefully Luda. The album is a must have. The production is a lot better on this one and the album is strictly R&B. Atlanta love you girl.
Poor poor Kelly! It must really suck to have an *** as a Dad and a manager. Beyonce & Kelly do sound alike. U cannot compare Beyonce to Prince by no means. Prince is a musical genuius that plays various instruments, write & produce songs; not lie about it and take credit for it like Bey. If we are going to compare anyone to Prince it should be Alicia Keys. Matthew has overexposed Bey and she's a self centered, spoiled selfish want a be white girl that has no originality; if she did, she wouldn't be copying off other female entertainers. I know her feelings were hurt behind Jennifer Hudson becoming the star instead of her. Her dad couldn't pull/pay this one off. Matthew did offer Jennifer a contract & she turned it down; smart *** girl. If Jen had signed w/Matthew, he would've made *** sure Bey got the spotlight tailgating off Jennifer. Bey didn't even have the courtesy to show up @ the SAG awards; u think because she didn't get a nom? Personally, I think Kelly is a very good actor, she has personality, she doesn't act like a want a be white girl, down to earth and she's very articulate. We know nothing about Kelly's parents/life or Michele, everything is focused on & around Bey. Like I say, she's over exposed. Do you see the real singers every where you look. I think that Kelly needs to get rid of Matthew because he isn't going to ever get behind her like he will that tone deaf child Solange. You can look at the numbers and see that Kelly is worth more energy than Solange. However, you know how we parents are, we want the best for our kids.

once again i see that you guys do not know the politics of music, yes Matthew is her manager however he works for Columbia, he can't just decide on his own if the album should be pushed back. Her ex said that Kelly wanted to get marry and suggest they go to see a counselor. They did and found out they didn't know enough about each other and he said we should wait until we know a bit more about each other before we get marry.
Remind you this was her idea and she decline and called off the wedding so please sweet KELLY my azz.....
