: Last month, a report came out showing that more Black woman are opting for plastic surgery. That's not at all surprising, given the number of celebrity women that have chosen to go under the knife.
MediaTakeOut.com put together a list of 5 celebrities that we believe had some "work" done. Check out the before and after shots below - and let us know if you agree.
Halle Berry - You didn't think that she was born with that button nose, did you??Kelly Rowland - We had to go wayyyy back to find a pic of Kelly's original shnozz.
Rihanna - This young beauty came to the U.S. just a couple of years ago. But it looks like she left her old nose back in Barbados.
Beyonce - The booty-licious diva would like everyone to believe that she's a natural beauty. She may be beautiful - but there's nothing natural about her new nose.
Ashanti - We're not exactly sure what she had done, but it had to be major surgery. We suspect that she received a full facial transplant...
I always knew Beyonce had some work done to her body because if you look at her younger years she just change very quickly to this swan. I don't believe it was because of diet and exercise the reason she looks like that..Nip/Tuck plastic surgery..That's where the money goes..

I don't see what the big deal is about plastic surgery. There are only a small group of people that ACTUALLY believe that certain celebrities have had nothing done. Anyone who knows about the industry or keep up with it knows that a lot of celebrities have plastic surgery left and right. Ashante's before picture looks HORRIBLE but she is a pretty girl now. ***, if I could afford to have all that I want done, I would too. Beyonce's lace wig is cute though. They are all pretty girls.........Kelly has her moments but she's a pretty girl also.
Come on... those pictures are bogus... If you pay close attention you'd realize that thats make-up on some of those girls thats sharpening some of there features... Like Kelly Rowland, Beyonce, and Rihanna.. Ashanti had a good wax job and every1 knows halle plays under the knife far too frequently...., This website can be so fake sometimes
stracream, I agree. Just keep it real. If you look at Beyonce on the video 'Bootylicious', her stoamch was shaking and she had a small pouch. Yes, she does excersise but she also had a headstart with some plastic surgery. It's kind of like people who wear weave can always tell when another woman has on a weave, regardless to how well it looks. I've had plastic surgery and I just know the look. Still, she has a nice body and a pretty face but it wasn't a BORN gift. None of them should be ashamed of having work done. At least they have the money to do it, you know?
Everybody knew that Halley Berry had a nose job and breast implants. Kelly didn't, she just gets skinnier and skinnier with time. Rhi Rhi had somthing done but should've done something with her big 4head! B didn't have anything done to her face but her body, yep! As for Ashanti, that picture was photo shopped to look like that, she's just a hairy girl, nothing a lil razor can't do.
ok...are we forgetting Halle's mother is White? It's not far fetched she would have a nose like that.
You also have to remember makeup and lighting are like magic! They have the best make up artists in the world! I had a photo *** recently for a major magazine and was amazed at how the make up artist was able to contour my nose..it didn't even look like me.
I do not believe that Beyonce, Kelly or Rhianna had their noses done!!!! It is called makeup and contouring. Halle might have had surgery and Ashanti was just a hairy beast!!! Fact is, they are all goregeous women and we always would like to believe that an attractive woman especially a woman of color has had surgery. Makeup works wonders trust me it does. After looking at the pictures above, there was no reason any of those women should have gotten surgery; they were all beautiful before they got surgery.

In Hollywood if you don't look perfect they will cast you out and you will not get no work. That is why so many older actors are under the knife. They want that check. When you reach a certain age in Hollywood you are consider a has-been.
Question, can't people grow into their noses? Beyonce, Kelly & Rhianna all still had some growing to do. Well said Carm! MTO loves to hate. Some people that don't know anything about the industry don't realize how make-up, lighting, and air-brushing can make you look totally different. The only person on here that looks like they actually had a nose job done is Halle, and she'll probably admit to it with no problem. These ladies are still pretty and they're all doing their thang, so people need to stop hating on them. You can entertain without hating.
There is nothing wrong with plastic surgery if its being used the right way. I have a problem with these women talking about they are this and that and just went under the knife. Young girls are looking at them like my body don't look like that, my hair don't look like that, my nose don't look like that etc..

it's more than just makeup. makeup cannot build a nose bridge. look at halle's old nose and her new nose. her old nose had less of a bridge like the average african american nose. her new nose has more of a bridge to make it look more european. same thing with beyonce. kelly had a nose job and had her bottom lip reduced. rhianna looks like she has some type of cheek implants. the are very subtle(which they should be) but they are there.
Beyonce, in the first picture, was bigger in the face than in the second picture, I don't think she had surgery. I really don't think that any of them had surgery, except for Halle. Ashanti's picture when she was younger is of course a baby picture, people grow older into a new look and for her definetly a better look especially having all that hair removed.
I knew Halled had her nose done. She never denied it. As far as Rihanna goes she may have had rhinoplasty which is a lil "tweeking" nothing major. Beyonce' she could have but I doubt it. It looks like camera angles to me with her. As far as Ashanti', she just got a complete hollywood make over...lol. She was never cute back in the day and was very hairy. But that goes for anyone who was just a regular girl trying to get into hollywood, once you get in you get made over and that's what happened to her, but I don't think she had plactic surgery.
Beyonce didn't get plastic surgery on her nose. I've seen that pic many times (the Before pic) and that's the only one where her nose looks strange. Every other pic of Bee looks like the nose we see most often.
Rihanna is just an alien. She STILL has a nose that spreads like wildfire toward the bottom. It catches you out of nowhere, with a normal size @ first, then goes crazy as you go down. Couple that with the cat eyes (which I usually like on anyone else) and the forehead from hell, and she's Mrs. Potato Head - the chic whose facial features don't match each other.
Halle - Who cares.
Ashanti - All I can say is, God bless makeovers once fame comes along. But no plastic surgery.

I don't see what the problem is. As critical as most of you are, celebrities have to be *** near perfect to please you guys. Plastic surgery is just a part of Hollywood living. Celebrities are criticized for looking to natural, they are criticized for looking to perfect. They just can't win. My problem is white female celebrities have been receiving plastic surgeries since the early 80s. (Probably before then) I don't remember ever seeing their plastic surgeries broadcasted to the world as much as the black female celebrities are today. All of a sudden, when black female celebrities go under the knife, it becomes something big to talk about. MTO lets see some before and after pictures of Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, Elizabeth Taylor, or even Joan Rivers.

Not everyone has had plastic surgery. Oprah even showed how to make the nose appear different just by using make-up on her show. Ashanti looks like a professional got hold of her and balanced out her blotchy skin. Halle, Rhianna and Beyonce look like the only ones who may have had something done to their noses.

Trust me, I just did a *** for a social magazine due out March of 2007 called Underground Outcast. Trust this, lighting and make-up can make you look Asian if you're Ethiopian. Doesn't mean you had a "race" change. (ha ha) Race change. I kill myself. (lol) Umm, anyway, Airbrushing and contouring can make you look 110 pounds when you're really 300 pounds. It looks like a lot of people are oblivious to the fact that Hollywood puts a lot of pressure on you to look perfect. Hollywood is a world where the most the most desired aesthetic features are EUROPEAN!!! Yes these women are beautiful but to think anyone of them is too beautiful to go under the knife is plain dumb.
I am one that is in favor of plastic surgery and I find no problem with these women getting this; but what I do find a problem with is the way they promote mostly to youung women, natural beauty and being yourself, and not letting what people think bother you, yet they have had work done. I find for most people that it's a difficult thing to be yourself and the media has a set way you are "supposed" to look. So this creates a frenzy of people trying to be what they see in Hollywood and in the media in general, when what we see isn't even real. I have so much respect for the ones that actually admit they've had work done. I mean if you get it done that's fine, but don't try to pass off to the world you're this "perfect person" when you know that you aren't.

Beyonce has looked totally fake from the beginning. Kelly had a good nose job--it's a slight difference--but still looks natural and perky--I personally think Rhiana is extremely beautiful--She honestly doesn't need anything done--It really doesn't look like anything has been modified... Oooh lawd, Ashanti looks like a man in this pic. I think that the modifications Halle, Kelly, Beyonce and Rihanna have had are fine. There are differences, of course, but the differences are more natural. Sometimes, I think writer's just love to create issues. Halle Berry didn't need anything done to her face. If Kelly was gon be standing next to Beyonce singing, she had to get something done. Rihanna looks okay. Beyonce is beautiful of coarse. Ashanti doesn't look as if she had anything done but her teeth and a wax job. If I got major surgery to any of my facial features, I would really been worried about how am I going to look 20 or 30 years from now.

Lol, y'all are a gag... The only picture that I believe is Ashanti's, I will not hate but I will say I hope she thanks god for makeup, seriously I did get a good laugh out of that *whipes tear from eye*. Anyhow as far as the noses are concerned, I don't think any of them had plastic surgery. I believe the changes have aoccured mearly from age. There are two places on our faces that never stop growing, your ears and your nose, as we get older our noses get longer. All of those photos were taken when these stars were fairly young and then compaired with more recent photos, of course, due to the natural occurence of age, thier noses look different. If you look closely, you can see the nostrols are the same, the bridges are just longer, giving them a more defined look.
