About two weeks ago, my co-worker showed me an e-mail with this white girl getting a carving of a palm tree on her back. It showed the person carving her with latex gloves and the skin he took off on the table. The end result was nice. I know on this show called Taboo, this African tribe had their young men carved like reptile skin using a razor blade. The young men were crying. I personally wouldn't do it.

To co-sign with Qboro, this isn't new and it's not isolated to "white folks". Many indigenous tribes in Asia, African, New Zealand, etc. undergo scarification to mark the transition from adolescence into adulthood. And if this looks crucial, imagine the same process without the benefit of modern medicine. HELLO? Yet another thing stolen from Africa!!!!! They do that to young men as they graduate to manhood. The technique is not the same, in Africa they actually just "slice" the designs in; but this "AIN'T NOTHIN' NEW".

I've heard that some people get off getting those tattoos. Its a sexual rush for them. I don't understand why anyone would want this mess on their body. It will be with them for life and when the're old and grey they most definately will regret. And BTW the extreme in these pictures are a white thing. No black person would go through this.
