: MediaTakeOut.com is sad to report to you that another celebrity couple (and here we're using that term very loosely) has decided to call it quits. Dawn, formerly from En Vogue's husband Dre Allen recently walked out on her. The two had been in talks to develop a reality show around their lives.
Here's how he described the break up in a letter to his fans:
Dre:Dang, that girl Dawn can't seem to catch a break. But look on the bright side - we doubt anyone will pull the Reality Show idea now that this guy is gone. No one even knew who he was anyway...People are sending mass messages saying that they think I should just stay in the relationship with Dawn because we have a TV show coming out & that I'm so close & that I shouldn't sabotage myself. WTF??? So you endorse using a person to get where you need to be. IM SORRY! I just have to believe that I have enough talent to get there independent of who I am with in my personal life.
I am not going to do a disservice to Dawn & myself by staying with her to get a f**king TV show or some popularity. I love her but I am a firm believer in the fact that you also have to like a person to make it work. THAT I don't.
Maybe I have issues with myself but I have to work those out independently. As for ego... its about 25% that! The rest is fatigue, sadness, & anger. I am tired ... it is over. Period.
I am sorry if some of my fans are disappointed by that but you would be far more disappointed if you woke up to read that we stressed each other to death.
Maybe not. Anywhoo...I love you all... STOP WORRYING ABOUT ME! I'LL LAND ON MY FEET...I ALWAYS DO.

pl i'm mad you knew even that much about her!! i never heard of her til one day i was going thru my guide on tv and i saw this show called a *** at love with tila tequila and i was like who the hell is this so i turned to it and i still dont know who the *** she is!! i'm about to google that *** lol!
if they are separated that's too bad because they seemed really happy but i did sometimes get a vibe that she was putting more into the relationship than he was. there was some video on you tube dawn had and she just kept talking about dre and this was years ago and he is still a nobody. she got a lot of issues but she was still my favorite out of both groups she was in

Dre has allot of fans check him out on youtube you will see and we all just send props and many attends his shows when he come to town. Him and Dawn are usually on the road traveling or singing around different spots.

The problem Dawn had was that she spent all of her time and energy trying to upgrade this negro and it was time she should have spent on herself and her career. Too many women make this mistake. I have heard this guy's music and have seen a few interviews with him and it seems like he has some sort of problem (possibly having to do with some white powder or little white rocks). On top of that he truly believes that he is some sort of rock god when in fact he really isn't all that great. I hope she doesn't make that same mistake in the future.
blahblahblah, I was on Dawn myspage since a long time, she had an on/off relationship with that guy, this guy is a *** with a big B, and for me Dawn was a silly *** for not seeing that,I m happy she woke up, even if she wont be famous again she will be happy at least with someone who will love her only "her", Dre is a leech, he got burned that s it! now he has to work!! or find an other silly one (I doubt that he find more silly than Dawn!)

this doesn't mean they HAVE a reality show that's gonna air on TV. Every other person in L.A is "in talks" to develop a reality show. All that means is you've got an IDEA and some people have heard your pitch. That's it.

Dawn is a model/diva she has a great singing voice unlike these hoes today making allot of money and can not hit a *** high note!
Dawn has paid her dues she's very pretty and talentive. There was never any where said about her not getting along with Envogue from my research and readings she wanted more and wanted to expand her other options. She felt there was a limit in the girl group Envogue and she wanted to expand pass that vocally.
I would of love to see the reality show of her and Dre because from what I hear Dre keeps it real. Running out of gas asking folks for cash who does that only someone who is willing to do whatever it takes! (Hustler).......
Dawn always had slanted eyes if you look at her back in the day pictures from when she was with Envogue you would see she still looks the same pretty much. What she need surgery now to correct her eyes? Oh please!
I believe the reality show would of been nice for the grown and mature fans and new breeds coming up today. Take notes on how to sang and how to really make a *** hustle!
