^^^Ummm you obviously didn't watch the AMA's. She was honored for being the First Female to win the International Artist award and they listed all of her accomplishments. They said she sold 130 mill records, did 183 magazine covers, etc. You are obviously not a fan b/c if you were then you would know this is true. You're probably just thinking about the U.S but Beyonce has really sold 130 mill WORLDWIDE. Which means all together. And last time I checked she was the lead singer of DC and everybody knows it was her group and they were so successful b/c of her b/c her voice is on all their songs so get real. And DC is the Best Selling Female Group of all time and Beyonce is the lead singer of that group. But I don't have to prove anything b/c they said it at the AMA's. And numbers don't lie so you must not be a fan or you would know this.
Anyway I said congrats to Alicia and I meant that but don't try and make it seem like she's killing Beyonce when that's not true. Beyonce has had more success than Alicia overall and that's a fact. Beyonce's numbers are made up!!! Research a little please. I'm not knocking her. She is an amazing artist and entertainer. However, worldwide sales are not completely accurate. For example, you could go platinum in sasquachawon but their platinum status means selling 10,000 copies. Well the record company only reports it as platinum. When we in America here platinum we calculate it as 1million units. That ain't so for Ms. B. THat's why Billboard has DC listed as only selling 17 million copies yet they maintain they've sold 50 million. SHe is talented though but I am tired of seeing her.
Alicia allowed people to miss her and that's why she's doing so well. I love her and think she is talent...pure talent. I think if she put on a show without any booty shakin it would still sell out.
