: MediaTakeOut.com is sad to report to you that Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor has just passed away. He was shot yesterday by men trying to burglarize his home.
Taylor and his girlfriend were awakened by noises at around 2 AM Sunday night by burglars. He grabbed a machete from under his bed and went to investigate when an armed intruder burst in the bedroom door and fired two shots, one of which hit the inside of Taylor's leg and pierced his femoral artery. Taylor lost massive amounts of blood from the injury.
He was subsequently airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he underwent surgery. Unfortunately, this morning Taylor succumb to the injuries and passed away.
The gunman is still on the loose and Taylor's lawyer told the paper that nothing was stolen from the house. The couple's baby was in the bedroom at the time of the shooting and reportedly slept through the incident.

R.I.P. Sean. DC loves you and will miss you on FedEx field. It is so sad that people feel the need to rob sucessful young men who are making something of thier lives. I mean *** he had an 18 month old baby. How can someone take a child's father away from them so coldly?

this was some mafia style break in going on. they cut the phone lines so the alarm system couldn't call in. this is one time i'm glad i don't have a land line phone system. my phone system is over the internet so it's hooked up to a router like my computer. this has me thinking again about taking gun lessons.
And they say detroit is bad. Early this yr two NBA players got robbed in Chicago. You never hear that *** going on in Detroit. US robbing our athletes and *** like that,but they are always throwing dirt on Detroit or trying to make Detroit look bad. But RIP Sean Taylor this is really sad and unfortunate.
Get your *** right MTO, Sean T. had a pistol too(even though he wasn't supposed to)and this was a professional hit(burglar's cut phone lines, right!). Another thing 'burglars' usually don't carry weapons unless they are gonna rob them at gunpoint(make 'em open the safe). Oh well, Not just the entertainers but everyone, watch how you treat people, watch what you say to people, and you don't need to floss all the time 'cause you don't know who's watching and wanting. Lesson learned!

also, on a sidenote, maybe if he had a different alarm system, things might have turned out differently...with the alarm system on my house, if the phone line is cut, the alarm automatically goes off, and the police are alerted...not all alarm companies set up their alarms like that though, you have to ask them to make sure...
Why is is that people feel they have the right to take someone else's life away? I just don't get it. Here is a young man that has made a good life for himself, asleep in a room with his woman and their child and somebody actually has the ignorance to go into his house and destroy that family. This child now has to grow up not knowing their father, this woman has to live with that last memory of him forever in her mind and heart. It's so sad. Stop the *** killing people!

God have mercy on Seans soul. Whoever did this, I hope they read mediatakeout. YOU ARE A COWARD! Whoever thinks it's ok to take a life IT'S NOT. Todays world is not about haters. It is written in stone. Thou shall not KILL. Simple, do not kill. God had that written for a reason. He has a plan for all of us. He also allow us to make our decisions and he's has placed a path that we can take to rectify our good and bad decisions. He did not give anyone the power hand to decide when and where punishment should be handed. If you are a person that feels your better than God, you are in for a rude awakening. Put the guns down and learn to fight like men. We will all live to see another day.

DARRENT Williams, who played in America's NFL with the Denver Broncos, has been *** dead while riding in a stretch Hummer limousine. Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said that there was "some type of disagreement" at a *** and Williams, 24, left the party with his friends.
*** afterward, a white sports utility vehicle pulled alongside the limo. *** were fired and Williams and two friends, a man and a woman, were hit.
TV footage showed Williams' white stretch limousine riddled with *** holes.
"All three were taken to the hospital. Mr Williams was taken to Denver Health Medical Centre where he was pronounced dead a little after 2.30 this morning," Mr Jackson said.
Police are still looking for the SUV.
According to local media, the other victims' wounds were not considered life threatening.
The death came the morning after Williams's team ended its season without going to the playoffs after losing to the San Francisco 49ers.
He was *** in the neck so sad!

Here was a man who had made it, and through him, was able to help and change the lives not just his, but so many of his loved ones and friends.
Now he's gone.
Drea77 summed it up - a man can no longer peacfully sleep in his home with his woman and child, and not be killed.
This is why I am thankful for my protection - my ***, followed by my gun if intruders make it to my bedroom.
God, please take care of Sean and protect and watch over his baby for him.

While it may have been ridiculous 'hood justice', they just destroyed their own life too. Yet, I question the revenge factor because dude was in the process of suing him civally for $15,000. So why would he cut that off and grab a murder rap? Nothing more healing to wounded pride, than money.
My belief is pure jealousy and opportunity. He was robbed 10 days earlier while he was away playing football. He wasn’t supposed to be there right? – he was supposed to be in DC getting therapy (or playing.) They probably deduced he wasn’t going to be there, that’s why they made so much noise breaking in (even the neigbors heard them.) And it’s not unusual for robbers to carry guns. Home invasions happen all the time where people blast in and tie up the occupants while they rob them.
Regardless, they took a life that had so much promise. And a father, lover, son and brother.

There is no need to for your sarcastic remark. I SAID, I wonder if rather or not they tried hard enough to save him. Keyword: Wonder. I did not say that they the word "DIDN't". Nobody on this post, was in the room with them, so we do not know what they was doing to or for him in the hospital. If you would go back and read my post, on the last sentence, that it mat have been his destiny.
This is soooo sad and my thoughts, prayers, and deepest symapathy are with this family at this time. I do believe it is more to this story then what meets the eye and for the person saying that it was a professional hit....Wasn;t too professional considering that they only *** him in the leg. A professional has to make sure the job is done by hitting you in a sure spot to kill you like the face, head, lungs, heart not the leg!!! I think it has something to do with his past behavior. Not that it makes it right cuz Lord knows taking another man's life is as wrong as wrong gets but sometimes its hard to put the pat behind you and I think thats just what happened!!

I wasn't being sarcastic at all. I was pointing out some details that I wasn't sure you knew about (based on your comments,) that's all. I didn't mean to make you defensive.
However, your comment that 'no-one on this board was in the room, so how would we know', is actually out of sorts. I mean, I didn't make up those facts or profess to have been present - they actually came directly from the doctors and his family.

My prayers go out to the Taylor family. I am so deeply saddened. I am a HUGE Redskins fan who bought seasons tickets ESPECIALLY for Sean. He was so animated tough on the field that I couldn't resist. I just left Fed Ex field since I work about 5 minutes from there, and the radio station WPGC is out there talking about the tragedy and getting opinions and comments on the terrible incident. In fact, as soon as I walked into the Redskins Hall of Fame store the story was on the tv there about him. You could just see the pain on people's faces. There were so many cars with the redskins flags (including mine) there to commemorate him and his *** football career. I cannot wait to go to the Washington redskins game on sunday so that as fans from DMV DC Maryland and Virginia and everyone else can be together to comfort and share in the memories we have of such a young star athlete. God Bless you Taylor family and even though its a very tough and hard time for you right now, especially with the media probing into this unfortunate incident, as time goes on you will get through this time. As I said in the other forum, this is ridiculous. The whole thing makes no sense, and personally, I don't think this was some random killing. This (in my opinion) was a planned execution. The phone lines were cut, AND, these guys broke into his home not too long ago. Now they're back???!!! A crackhead looking to steal wouldn't break in to kill anyone. For one, he wouldn't have a gun. He would have sold it for crack already. It's too much of a coincidence that these people came back to the same house TWICE looking to "break in." To top it off, nothing was stolen. All the more proof to show that this wasn't random. Someone was out to get this guy for whatever reason. Like someone said before, why is it that the BLACK athletes are the ones dying via gun *** wounds? Is this the NFL and NBA, or the Bloods & Crips? This new generation of athletes are portraying bad images. This guy Taylor has a small jail record, BUT, that's no reason for him to die. This cycle really needs to end.
I never heard of him but still sad nonetheless, it is still sad. I'm guessing from reading the news reports that this sensless crime was planned in advance, and probably he knew the killers. This was probably a form of retaliation. God Bless his Loved ones. And I hope the criminals are caught and take responsibility for playing God's role. Another sad story.

I think you are the only one on this post that can relate to what I was getting at. I have read a lot of these posts, and outside of feelings of grief, and prayers to the family, some people have some interesting opinions on what might have happened. I want to hear the whole story because it doesn't add up.
Nothing can bring dude back, but I think when the story comes out people will be able to relax and understand what happend. As someone made mention, a man can't even rest with his girl and baby without someone breaking into his home and *** him. In his neighborhood, you can't even drive around there without being stopped by the jakes.
@BYRON92 I will tell u what happened sean's ex babymother who claimed she was sean's fiancée when she was not had Sean set up and had him murdered and she paid the police and media off so they could say those kids made the decision to kill Sean on their own but they didnt do it own their own she paid them to do it! I was sean's fiancée at the time of his death and we have been together since high school. I'm a light skin puerto rican and I'm from miami born and raised! she was jealous of me and sean's relationship and even tried to have me murdered on several occasions. She's a hoe and a *** and he never dated her or had a child by her she lied and said the baby was his but the baby was not his, the baby is by someone else!!! U see in our culture if u have a child out of wedlock and u and ur partner doesn't get married than ur family can cut u off. So if she did say the baby was his and her family found out that she was pregnate by someone else and they chose not to get married than her family would have cut her *** off because they knew that sean was not in a relationship with her ***. Sean didn't even like dating cuban women anyway he only liked light skinned puerto rican and light skinned dominican women!!! So she was jealous of my relationship with sean because im a light skin puerto rican and much cuter than her and she was mad that sean would not give her the time or the day to even talk to her!!!! So don't believe what u read or hear about his death. @HardCore no u need to get ur *** straight cuz sean didn't have a gun that *** because he was still on probation and couldn't have one even if he had finished his probation early which he didn't, he still wouldn't have had one because of his daughter being in the house at the time that it happened!
