: MediaTakeOut.com reported to you earlier today that Sean Taylor was killed by intruders looking to burglarize his home. We can now report to you that police have a very good idea who the shooter is.
Details are sketchy, but MediaTakeOut.com spoke with a close friend of the family who told us that Sean Taylor's girlfriend witnessed the entire event - and that she got a good look at the shooter.
Word is she's going to be under round-the-clock protective custody until everyone involved is captured. But that police are looking to move quickly.
It is just sad that this happened. 24 years old and he is gone just like that. This world is so *** unpredictable. Hopefully they will keep his girlfriend and the baby safe until the *** who did this to Sean is caught. I am so *** right now. Just know that the DMV will always remember talented #21 R.I.P.

I live in your area DC, everyday someone is being murdered for one reason or another, and its so sad because we are supposed to be uniting as one and its the complete opposite. All I can say to you is be careful and be aware of the things and people surrounding you.

Just what makes YOU "pretty sure that they knew the girl saw them"??? What if she was hiding, but still saw them? What if they know who his girlfriend is, and now they know that she saw them? What if she has a family and they try to go through THEM to send a message to HER?

I live in miami and palmetto bay is a very nice area with a police presence. This wasn't done by no neggahs from the hood ridin' in a hooptie with spinners. They'd be stopped and questioned before they even got to Taylor's house. This was done by a neighbor or someone that knew him. And the motive was probably not even robbery. Like constipation... It'll all come out in the end!
Yes it is very messed up that dude was cut down in front of his woman. People do not just break in SuperStars houses and kill them for no reason. This whole incident never made any sense to me from the beginning as to the details. I sincerely hope and pray that this wasn't family connected (to his girl) because that would be so aweful! but you never know or can tell folks motives sometime. The security is questionable as well as their access to the house and being also not it's the first attempt at him or home. I mean this just feels eerie to me. the first thing I thought of was how he could be at such a comfort level even if it's his hometown. You need extra security man. I believe he was targeted, i don't think the girl had anything to do with it but i heard they cut the phone lines and when he heard the loud noises they was already in his house.
Carrington I think they did intend on killing him, just cuz they didn't go for his head or heart doesn't mean they didn't intend on killing him. The artery that was severed is worse then being *** in the head, he lost alot of blood and flatlined twice in surgery

That makes absolutely no sense... what makes sense, if the phone lines were cut is that they were planning a robbery and didn't want anyone to be able to call the cops while they took their time, and *** him in the leg was a way to a) get his attention or b) prevent him from trying to attack.

You never know who be scoping your house out, seeing what type of things you got in your house. I don't care how cool you are with that person. I don't think he was there the first time his house was broken into. He was in DC getting treatment for his knee. But u right though if he knew his house was broken into a week ago y didn't he have some type of security there especially since he's sleeping there. Let me clear this up for the folks that have a hard time understanding this. Sean Taylor plead no contest to PISTOL WHIPPING someone. Which means he pointed a gun at some dude and under the fear of death, this man was powerless to do anything as Sean Taylor beat the *** out of dude with a gat.

Well, this is terrible, but I honestly think this was no random ***. I think these people set out to kill Taylor for whatever reason. Think about it...they already broke into his home not too long ago, and now they're back??!!! Usually, a burglar looking to steal, would just go to some other rich person's house to steal if they don't succeed at stealing from the one they wanted.
they said it was other family members in the home besides his baby and the mother....did he have a alarm system? it do sound strange to me...they already broke in last week why would they be back..and why would they *** him. but if they really was trying to murder him they probably would have *** him more than once. I was watching this show a few years ago and they had this guy who was the star quarter back who was about to become famous in high school. and how he got *** and lost his memory.
What happen was he was in a car at the red light with his cousin and the driver. They rode up on them and fire *** into the car. The star quarter back was hit in the head, his cousin was killed and the other guy was wounded. The star quarter back underwent surgery to remove the *** logged in his head.
The doctors said they took a chance at removing the *** if it stay he dies he they remove it he still may die. He woke he could not remember his family or ever being on a football team. His family had to teach him everything from start to finish how to do stuff he was like a different person.
They had old movies they would watch with him running on the field but he had no idea who that was or what he was watching on tv he was like wow I was doing that..
Again RIP Sean and my heart goes out to the Taylor family. DC/Maryland/Virginia is truly saddened by this lost. Like I said previously, I just left Fed Ex field once I left work and you can see the pain on everyones faces. It felt good to come together to mourn such a talented player. I cannot wait until Sundays game so that I can be surrounded by other fans to celebrate his life and mourn his death. Redskins players we will be there to support you on Sunday to cheer you on and help you get through this time. I'm a diehard Redskins fan for life and #21 was one of the best. Go SKINS GO!!!!!!! The police said that Taylor told her to go into a room with their daughter and hide which she did and he locked the door. she heard a thump but never left the room and this is according to police and Taylor's lawyer

Anyone that had been to his home within the last 8 days leading up to the *** on Monday needs to be questioned and possibly requestioned! Girlfriend, mama, sibling, relatives, friends etc...A "random" burgular is not going to keep targeting the same house in a matter of days and not take anything, especially, if the home belongs to someone who is wealthy, but the person or persons made sure to leave a message behind (the knife found on the bed). What is that all about??
So this leads me to the question that BEGS an answer...Why wasn't the alarm system set?? Given his celebrity status, his property should have been secured with the best equipment and TURNED ON! For heavens sake, someone just broke into the house a few days prior and you go to bed with it turned off?? There's no way I could even stay in my home with the alarm off, if I knew someone had just broken into it a few *** before and then attempted, again.
And then the story gets even stranger. Now, the news is reporting that the phone lines were NOT cut. Apparently, his lawyer misinterpreted what the girlfriend said and what she really told him was that the phones had been malfunctioning and that's why she had to use her cell. I'm just wondering how long the problem had been known because it would seem to me that anyone in their sound mind would get that situation taken care of, right away, especially the given *** (earlier home break ins). Again, something is amiss here....Not pointing any fingers...but there are definitely some questions that need answering.

Scenario #2 he was messing with a sista from the clubs he promised a future with her and she got her goon cuz Ray Ray too scare him not kill him. Or maybe the cuban mafia, no disrespect. With all the cars at the house how would one no that there were not a house full? Who would know where the bedroom was located? At 1:45 a.m. Monday, Taylor's girlfriend, Jackie Garcia, called 911 and said someone had been ***.
Authorities have said she told police she was hiding under the bedding during the attack.
Garcia did not see what happened and could not provide a suspect description, Parker told reporters on Wednesday.
Police said Garcia and Taylor were awakened by noise in the living room, and that Taylor got up and locked the bedroom door, but the door was kicked in and two *** were fired, one striking him in the leg.
Garcia tried to call 911 but was unable to, and used her cell phone instead, police said. There was no evidence the line had been cut, Parker said Wednesday.
A break-in was also reported eight days earlier, Miami-Dade police said.
