And get this. We were looking over her new "affordable" line, Miss Tina - and it doesn't look half bad either. And at these prices, how can you go wrong.
But y'all gonna have to take what we say with a grain of salt. In case you didn't know, we're as tacky as all heck. But hey, at least we can admit it....

I actually saw her for the first time on HSN last nite, and I was shocked to see how nice her pieces were. They weren't, you know, TACKY. Not tacky at all. I saw a couple things that I actually thought were very cute.
I'll tell you why House of Dereon ain't selling, though. Most of the line is cute and all, but I'm sorry. I have a 3-year-old that's in daycare, and I pay $420/month just for that. So, for real, I can't see myself coughing up $45 for one f*ckin' t-***. I'm not spending $120 on one swimsuit. I'm not spending $110 on one sweatsuit. And I *** sure ain't spending $150 on one f*ckin' outfit. I don't play that sh*t. And I know y'all women out there feel me, whether you got one kid or 3 kids, I know y'all feel me. We don't have that kind of money, Bey! And even if we did, we're gonna spend it on 3 outfits for our kids instead of 1 outfit for ourselves (well, MOST OF US). If you don't want your clothing line to fail, you better lower those prices a little bit. Get a clue, honey! Why do you think Wal-Mart is such a beast? Cuz that's where the affordable sh*t is!!! Lower prices brings in more revenue than any high-end fancy store, any day of the week. Dummy down, Beyonce!!!!

To all those who is still on this tip that someone owes you something, guess what no one does. It's not my responsibility to provide for those who live in a country that provided them with the same opportunities that had. You chose to your own path. Get over it. Why should Beyonce have to lower her prices...clearly if you can't afford it, that means she wants certain people to wear her clothes. Why would I give all of my hard-earned money to HER??? Her shows sell out every time tickets go on sale (and I heard the tickets are very expensive, too). She already has a lot of women teetering on the edge of eviction cuz they're dipping in their rent money just to buy her clothes, her daddy is already pimping lil Daniel, and he ain't even old enough to form a full sentence yet. Then you got Tina on HSN selling her clothes and appearing in every single ad campaign that Beyonce does (***, I rarely see Bey by herself anymore). They're banking like nobody would believe. Her sh*t is too high in the store, period. I see something I like, I pick it up and look at the price tag, and I put that bullsh*t right back where I got it from. At least Tina is on the right track, selling clothes that people can actually afford. And the pieces will pay for themselves over and over, cuz you can wear them to work, to run errands, to a party, anywhere. Where can you wear Beyonce's stuff? To a party or the club? Which I rarely do, anyway? No way. I'm not spending $100 on an item and I'll rarely get to wear it. I recently bought $100 cell phone. I spent that much cuz I signed a 2-yr contract, so I wanted a nice phone cuz I'mma be looking at that b*tch for a looooong time, lol. I have a kid to support, so I know how to stretch a dollar. And buying $150 outfits for myself ain't the way to do it. Once Bey realizes that most of the women who are in the age range she's targeting have at least one kid and aren't making a sh*tload of money, she'll be well on her way to saving House of Dereon.

Me I will pay money for some stuff just not that House of Deron stuff....I just dont like it at all. I pay money for timeless pieces that can last year and years. I have a DKNY suit (3 pieces blazer, pants and skirt) I've had that suit for 3 years and paid about $180 for it back then. Trendy stuff doesn't get my good money that is just how I roll.
I SAW MISS TINA ON HSN AND HER FACE ACTUALLY LOOKED FRIENDLY AND RELAXED. THERE WAS A BLACK MODEL ALONG WITH MANY WHITE, MODELING THE CLOTHES AND GET THIS, THE MODEL WAS DARK SKIN. SHE PROBABLY WAS A HSN MODEL.
ANYTIME I'VE SEEN PICTURES OF TINA WITH BEYONCE THAT WERE CAUGHT BY A PHOTOGRAPHER UNSTAGED, SHE ALWAYS LOOKED MEAN OR MAD, example: SHOPPING TOGETHER IN ANOTHER COUNTRY OR ON THE RED CARPET WHILE BEYONCE IS BEING INTERVIEWED. ....I wonder if Tina is Jealous of Beyonce because she always had an evil look when B was being interviewed, and Tina may have thought the camera didn't catch her face.
BUT... WHEN STAGED AND TINA IS MAKING MONEY (like on HSN last ***) SHE SMILED THE ENTIRE SHOW. I THOUGHT THOSE GOLD BOOTS WERE A BIT GAWDY. THE BLACK AND WHITE *** WITH HER NAME WRITTEN ALL OVER IT WAS TOO BUSY FOR MY TASTE.

I'm not talking about buying clothes from Wal-Mart, I'm talking about their low prices in general. Wal-Mart is a force to be reckoned with, and it's because they have the good business sense to know that having lower prices than your competitors brings in unfathomable amounts of money.
Now, I'm not gonna lie. I buy a lot of stuff from Wal-Mart. My groceries, my electronics sometimes, and a lot of *** with cute sayings on the front. But I buy clothes from everywhere else, too. When I said what I had to say, I wasn't saying that I buy all my clothes from Wal-Mart cuz that's all I can afford. I'm just saying that $55 is ENTIRELY too much for one t-***. It really is. Maybe not if you don't have kids and you only have to worry about supporting yourself. It's just that, the women in the age range she's targeting, most of them already have a kid or two and they want to dress nice, too. Would that be a smart business move to single out a small group of people to wear your expensive clothing? How lucrative would that be? Not very....
And RocaWear and them can stand to lower their prices some, too. I'm not just singling her out. It's just that the topic happens to be her mother right now, and I read some people's posts about Dereon failing horribly. And me being a consumer, I know why it's failing. So I commented my own thoughts on the matter.
FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD, HOUSE OF DEREON CLOTHES ARE MIS-LABLED BY THE SIZES AND THE MATERIAL FALLS APART, SO MAYBE THAT IS WHY PEOPLE COMPLAINED THAT THE LINE IS OVER PRICED.
I'VE HEARD SEAN JOHN'S CLOTHES ARE MADE VERY WELL, WITH QUALITY AND THE MATERIAL HOLDS UP. SO PERHAPS THAT IS WHY PEOPLE DO NOT COMPLAINED ABOUT DIDDY'S PRICES.

EXACTLY what I mean. It's fine to spend that kind of money on a designer suit. I think every man AND woman need at least one very nice suit in their closet. You never know when you're gonna need it. Job interview, funeral, awards ceremony or play at your kid's school, anything like that. You always need a nice, well made suit by a trusted and prestigious name like DKNY, so I can see that. I would've spent more on a suit like that if it had costed more. It would've been worth it. Now, if I'm gonna get a lot of wear out of an item, I'll spend good money for it. I think maybe that's the real reason why I have beef with Beyonce pricing her clothes so high, because they're "trendy". Now, I'm not boycotting her clothes or anything. I'd get a nice, timeless trench coat or something from her line if I knew I'd have it a long time and wear it a lot, even if it was expensive. I think she makes those too. But she wants a lot of money for pieces that are going to be dated.... and soon. And you can only wear those types of clothes in limited settings. It's just not good business sense on her end.
... And another thing. I double-dog DARE Beyonce to come out and actually say that she only wants certain people wearing her clothes. Really, I dare her. That'll KILL whatever's left of her clothing line. I mean, look at DJ ***, the creator of A Bathing Ape (or better known as B.A.P.E.). He started publicly picking and choosing which artists were allowed to wear his clothes, and pricing his items to the high heavens to where no one but the rich and famous could afford it. I saw regular folks wearing B.A.P.E., but it was fake. Now, I don't see ANYONE wearing it. He killed himself. Retail suicide. Consumers take real offense to discriminatory behavior from so-called role models and so-called exemplary figures. Trust me, she don't wanna make herself look like she only wants certain people wearing her clothes. That wouldn't be very smart.
And just so y'all know, I don't mean she's singling out certain races or anything. What Chocoshake was trying to say is that Bey might be pricing her clothes high because she's probably targeting women of a certain financial class with those prices. But still, that sounds like a bad business decision to go in that direction.
Sean John quality is actually good my son has a few pieces of his stuff. I saw the House of Deron in Macy's and the material was not that good nor the fit (not sure who she fitted those tops on but if you breast cup size is over a C forget it). I am all for supporting my own but our people need to be realistic with what they are putting it out and for what consumer. Im not giving my hard earned money to you just because you are black give me a reason to support you and keep coming back as a loyal customer over and over. Hell Ralph Lauren stuff is high as hell but the quality is superb now the first time i get a piece of *** its over!
Trendy pieces are never good to buy a lot of a top here a pair of pants here but why spend your hard earned money on something that is going to go out before u get to wear it again that is crazy thinking.
I always liked Tina's costumes for the girls, I don't know why people call them tacky- they were costumes for stage perfomances- not something that you wear to the PTA (though I done seen some sh-t peoples mamas be wearing embarrasing the kid- but anyway where was I? oh yeah...).
And Tina does that that mysterious, creole spell-casting- friend of the devil smile- kinda spooky, really pretty- but spooky
I'll say this....I've seen Dereon sellin' in Ross of all places! If Dereon clothes are ending up in Ross, then you know the clothes weren't sellin' in the regular department stores! You rarely, if at all find Rocawear, Baby Phat and others in Ross (although I did see a couple of Baby Phat coats in there, along with some G Unit)!
look like the typical *** youd see in a sears robuck catlog. boring. the very first one look like a hoe stroll dress & the last 3 on the bottom look a mess--the open vest look like some *** Prince would wear, the *** sleeve sweater makes no sense at all--like a ripped up sweater she was too lazy to sew back up. & the last one--why would you wear a sweater AND a *** together??? this *** is ugly.

Fashion is a hobby for some people to make a quick buck. I never considered her stylish enough to take seriously. Styling and making clothes are some peoples gift others are just trying to capitalize off of their fame and popularity. They charge people absurd prices for clothing just because. The public is stupid and goes for anything so why not charge them for inferior products. Anybody can have a clothing line now a days. You don't even have to be stylish all you have to have is some kind of celebrity.

Well I will spend any amount of money on anything I want if it's a $200 T-*** or a $5 one I like I will buy it no matter who it's made by if I like it I get it, but I will not spend 1 dime on HOUSE OF DEREON I just can't bring myself to do it!! I like Bey but I really can't get with her clothing line, but I did see a fly Pair of boots by her they were ankle boots with fur and they didn't have my size so therefore I'm not meant to buy her stuff.
