: MediaTakeOut.com told you a few months ago that R&B singer Ciara would be the opening act for Rihanna's European tour. It now appears that there may be trouble on the horizon for the two ladies.
That's because according to one of MediaTakeOut.com's most trusted insiders, the two ladies have been bitterly feuding about the details of the tour. And last night that feud caused Rihanna to cancel their concert in Nottingham, UK.
A person who works with the tour claims that Rihanna has been limiting the amount of rehearsal time that Ciara and her team were allowed. And that the Bajan beauty's team hasn't properly paid Ciara for her performances.
The insider explained to MediaTakeOut.com, "[Ciara's camp] wasn't about to sit back and let Rihanna's people walk all over [them], so [they] stood up for Ciara ... Next thing you know, the [Nottingham] concert's cancelled. Maybe it's all just a coincidence, but I don't think so." The insider continued, "[Ciara] was told not to show up to the arena to perform ... that the concert was cancelled."
And what about the thousands of fans who purchased tickets to see the two ladies perform live. Well they've been emailing MediaTakeOut.com is droves. Here's a sample of one of the more angry emails from one of the fans:
i am a very upset Rihanna fan from the UK. She was supposed to be performing at the Nottingham arena today but the big foreheaded b*tch decided it would be a good idea to cancel the concert an hour before it started.So far, MediaTakeOut.com is hearing that the rest of the concert dates are scheduled to take place according to plans. First off, greattimes, Ciara has sold great on both her albums, Rihanna is the one who can't sell albums. And from the get go Rihanna should have known better than to put Ciara on her tour cause Ciara was and probably is out peforming her. I like some of Rihanna's stuff, but she not the best live performer. On the other hand, Ciara commands the stage. I really don't believe this story MTO is talking about, but I am more than sure that Ciara is probably doing better than Rihanna on her own tour.

At let's be honest, both Rihanna and Ciara have their fair share of weaknesses. But they are both very pretty girls with talent, and I'm sure they will improve where they need to. They are in a vulnerable position though because in R&B a pretty talented girl is expendable though. So, the more they find a niche for themselves, the better.

When I went rihanna's concert in manchester we couldn't wait for ciari to get off the stage for rihanna to perform. I mean the girl ciari is an ok singer but in the UK rihanna is our girl. She is one of the most popular american singer in the UK right now. We love her. She is always in the press everyday.
I think both girls have their own talent. I love rhianna's songs, dont like her dancing. I like Ciara's Dancing and her songs are ok. If I had to make a judgement about singing, then rihanna barely wins. If she didnt sound so whiny, then she would sound excellent! Not hating on either of them, they are just both singers/performers with different talent. I wish the both the best.

R&B star Rihanna has postponed three UK gigs as part of her European tour. Birmingham’s NEC Arena said the 19-year-old had been forced by her doctor to pull out of Monday’s gig.
The star, who plans to reschedule, also pulled out of Saturday’s Nottingham show. Tuesday’s Bournemouth show was also postponed.
Birmingham’s NEC said the Umbrella star “appreciates the love and support of all her fans and wants nothing more than to see and connect with them”.
Fans with tickets are advised to hold on to them until further news is received.
A spokeswoman for the star was unable to comment.
Rihanna began the tour in Paris last month and was due to end it on 21 December in Moscow, Russia.
The star, who was discovered by US rapper Jay Z, *** to fame with the single Umbrella, which stayed at number one in the UK singles chart for 10 weeks.

Don't remember who listed the hits, but as I see it, get it straight both of them had top 40 hits, but Rihanna had more top 10 hits. Ciara had her top R&B/Hip Hop hits, but they all didn't transfer to the big numbers for all of her releases. They both had big Dance hits, but yet & still Rihanna does appeal to an international audience...I'm not hating on Ci-Ci because when she came out she was like an Aaliyah reincarnation,and we needed her. The two of them however I do not see too much longevity, Rih-Rih with her 3 albums to date and Ci-Ci with her two. My opinion still stands that Rihanna's last CD was waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy better than Ciara's but lets all admit, they will both have something else to fall back on when the music doesn't work out any longer. Rihanna can definitely model and Ci-Ci can do back up dancing for someone or be the next Lorianne Gibson, cause both of them can not act and should not even attempt another acting job (I hope Ciara's camp can hear that). Yes I said Kelly because they needed a nice opening act and b/c Kelly needs the exposure I think she would have fit right it. We all know Kelly can sing. She just has poor management. Ciara only trys to upstage people with her dancing and I don't think them two even fit. ciara and Rihanna are totally opposite artists in stage presence, sound and talent. We can debate all day long over who is more talented. But my opinion is firm...Rihanna has a much better singing voice and I feel when she is on stage she COMMANDS your attention. Just like Mariah don't dance. Brandy don't dance. Monica didn't dance but their voices alone captured you. I feel Ciara sounds like a Janet jackson wannabe and Rihanna's accent on her songs is fresh and far from the norm we hear on a day to day. Ciara can pop, matrix and do all that but in the end, what she got??? Fitty???? LMAO! Like he's such a prize! WHATEVA~!!!!
