I just love, Love, Love Alicia..I could never think of a bad thing to say...She blows me away everytime I see her perform...She put's out great music everyone can feel..She is not showing of her image in a vulgar way ever...she articulate and smart..some artists just can't compare and they know who they are...
I not only love this woman... this genius artist! but I respect her for the many boundaries she has set and continues to follow regarding her integrity in the industry and open-ness to grow and excel in her music striving more a new mark. Each time she comes out it's on a more deeper and higher level. Alicia I love your new album and even more so... how mature and evolved you sound and have become overall as young woman! #2- I know she's a star but can we see Bey without the makeup caked on and without the wack a** tomato red lipstick. If she's sucha beautiful person, she doesnt need all that.

Gotta comment on my girl A-Keys -- ever seen her interviewed? Thinks on her feet, great sense of humor, she can be Fullbright Scholar or thuglett, I love her to death. I respect her ability to avoid overexposure and to be honest about how and why she chooses to keep a low profile. LOVE the new cd, can't say it enough. Love TEENAGE LOVE AFFAIR, in that song you hear her range which takes you back to Teena Marie and Chaka Khan. I agree, it's a great mix of songs, something for everyone, and guess what else? She does most of her own writing and arranging.

It's refreshing to see an intelligent, classy, respectable woman getting all the praises that she deserves. In my opinion, this woman is a credit to the R&B industry, music industry on the whole, and I am glad that people like her, and Mary are holding strong to their true personalities.
I am so bored with the fake heffers who are willing to compromise all of their morals for a time in the spotlight. It's just sickening the way some artists portray us black educated females, who have more to offer than how low we can go. LOL
Anyway, big ups to Ms. Keys, remain true to yourself, and never compromise for fame. It isn't worth it.
I am also proud of her for telling the photoshop / airbrusher to 'go light' with her photos. Shows character and substance, that she doesn't care about being 'perfect' in the public's eye.
She shows wisdom beyond her years. Thank God we have an articulate black woman in the forefront to show the world that there is more to us than stripping/shaking. (Besides Oprah & Michelle Obama of course)
