: We reported to you earlier this week that NFL's Mike Vick was recently sentenced to 23 months in prison. But MediaTakeOut.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that the football superstar may actually serve less than one year in prison.
That's because, sources close to Mike Vick tell us that he is planning on applying to enter the prison's Residential Drug Abuse Treatment Program (RDAP) - an intensive substance abuse treatment program which qualifies eligible graduates for a one year sentence reduction. The insider tells MediaTakeOut.com, that Vick plans on requesting to be admitted to the program.
And the story gets even better for Vick. Because he entered prison before his sentencing date, his release date could be pushed up even further. MediaTakeOut.com is hearing that, with credit for good behavior and the RDAP sentence reduction, Vick may even be out by the beginning of next year's NFL season.
MediaTakeOut.com tried to contact NFL officials for comment, but our calls were not returned.

MTO, you all really have to do some research before you post *** like this. Michael Vick and his people can say what they want to but Vick will not be eligible for that program for two reasons:
1) His sentence is too ***. The feds don't give much time off at all. 2 months per year...that's it. Under 24 months...you get only 1 months the 2nd year...hence the 23 month sentence.
2) In order to qualify for the drug program you have to have had a history of serious drug addiction for over 5 years. As you know the NFL won't allow you to play while on drugs so he must have clean tests somewhere.

He can ASK to be into the program but it doesn't GUARANTEE that he will get in. It depends on availability on the class and how long the list of inmates are ahead of Vick. Just because he is Michael Vick doesn't mean he gets to "JUMP" the line. EVERY PRISONER wants to be in this program. What DOES help Vick is the fact that he did FAIL his drug test. However...Once again... I REPEAT...It doesn't GUARANTEE that he will GET IN THE PROGRAM...

Then he has to get interviewed to see if he qualifys. Next, the program lasts 9 months with 6 months of aftercare in a half-way house. I know what Mike Vick did was wrong but he's never been in trouble before has he? If not, then he should've received probation and fines. I know different judges mete out different sentences and state laws vary, but Leonard Little of the St. Louis Rams killed a woman while driving drunk plus had a second DUI after that. Most of these celebrity cases are about wealth, celebrity vs what a poor or average person would receive. If OJ Simpson was a nobody, he'd be in prison for life. I can't say the same about Leonard Little because I see many races get off after having several DUI's under their belts.

I need to post this comment because of how I feel in regards to Vick...The other *** I was watching TV and there was evidence of *** and even a badly beaten and bloodied rooster in the garbage and the there was no arrest made by the police. Actually, most of the celebs will not be sentenced for long. Just from the celeb club millionairecupid.com, I learned that many celebs were released very soon when they were arrested. Just last month, Jessia(?), not sure of the name, was released after one day.
