: It must be good to be an NBA Player. MediaTakeOut.com learned that on Tuesday night, the Orlando Magic's Rashard Lewis bought out the bar at popular Houston nightclub The Office.
That's right guys, he bought each and every drink for the 300+ people at the club - for the entire night. According to one of MediaTakeOut.com's spies at the event, people in the club were popping bottles of champagne like it was nothing. And word is the night's tab came out to a whopping $50,000.
Shoot, Rashad should be glad that we weren't there. We'd have ordered about 12 bottles of Chrissy, stuffed 'em in our purse - and kept it moving...

Ive seen T-Mac & Rockets Team Mates( all the time), Matumbo, Mannie Fresh, Allen Iverson , Boris Kojo, Latoya & Slim (just to name a few...and the list goes on .... I said the same thing ...But you know HOOD People are not used to UPSCALE. SO they may try it , but go say the people are TOOOO Stuck up or something along those lines !!!LOL And probably won't come back. I havent been in a min . I might go on Tuesday. It just be hard to go out through the week and have to get up and go to work in the morning. I think a lot of these people dont have JOBS LOL
I love the office, it's a nice club, but for all those who said it was a waste of money and he needs to do something to help the needy. Please know, early that evening at his old high school Elsik, he threw a toy & clothing drive for childern in need.
So what if he decided to enjoy the city he was orignially from and let others have a good *** on him!
lol At the ones that live in Houston and have never heard of the Office. I'm in Beaumont and I've been there. Very nice club. My azz got lost the first time I went... wait I get lost every time I go to Htown. lol I've heard a few things about this young man and yes he has done some good things. But hey its his money, he is a grown man, so that means he can do what he want.

LOL at all the ones claiming to go to this upscale *** club. But when asked the question of where is the club located all you can get is its downtown. Hell there are lots of clubs downtown. Guess I'm out of the loop cause living in SUMMERWOOD, making 6 figures, having 2 degrees don't constitute me as GHETTO. *** too bad I can't get a welfare check like most and spend it on one outfit, nails, and one drink. Trying to get to most of the clubs when its "LADIES FREE" until. LMAO

Just because you dont know a "physical address" of a place doest mean ish. If you go to a place often you just know where it is and how you get there. You dont pay attention to the Numbers on the address . Hell if your homegurl called & asked you where it was you would say something like Turn Right on Main and its right by the ICON Hotel . LOL
Kinda torn on this one. On one hand, I hate I missed the party--I love my city but things like this don't happen too often, at least they didn't when I hit the clubs (before my son LOL).
As far as how he spends his money...it's HIS money. All of the "other" celebs do stuff like this all the time, but we criticize each other for doing the same time. Besides, many NBA players contribute to charity (even if it is for a tax break---let's keep it real people).
And yes, The Office is one of the hottest spots here right now, but it is upscale. If you only hang out at the hood spots, you won't know about it. I'm just mad one of the hood clubs (D1) is walking distance from my house...SMH.
@tiaje contrary of what you may want to believe but your financial status , number of degrees or where you reside has nothing to do with being in the "loop" of things(my cousin who has a very lucrative salary who resides in Mo. Co. (LAKE OLYMPIA Tina Knowles has a home there) has been there...the thing is why comment and say there is NO CLUB IN HOUSTON cslled the Office if you dont know
@HTOWNQT right on point I have no clue somthime of the adresses of places i frequent...but trust i can always go right to them.
the office is not snobby its just young professionals or soon to be just being social and networking. YOu dont have to worry about hoods in the club acting up is all!

I live in H-town and the Office is one the upscale grown and sexy clubs so if you are not grown and sexy then you would not know what they are taking about. The Office and the Tribeca Lounge be on especially on Fridays and sometime Saturday's. however I am from the Chi and I aint going to lie the clubs in H-town dont have *** on the clubs in the Chi. I love the city I live in, it grows on you but when you have been around and especially growing up in Chicago and travled alot you can compare. But I aint gon lie again Carro's remind me of the The Taste on 63rd and Lowe in the Chi straight hood. Only go there when you are straight angry and ready to whip some ***.
