: Looks like the shocking Steve Harvey abuse lawsuit has come to an end. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Steve and his ex-wife are very close to reaching a monetary settlement.
As MediaTakeOut.com first reported to you, Mary Harvey was suing Steve for swindling her out of millions, and for mental and physical abuse. Last week we also told you that Steve was facing prison time if a judge ruled that he contemptuously withheld vital information from Mary's legal team.
And it appears that the threat of prison time may have caused Steve to open up his wallet. According to one person familiar with the case, Steve offered Mary approximately $10M to settle the suit and Mary is expected to accept the offer.
The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "Court documents have Steve's net worth at around $20M, so he's basically offering half of everything he owns to make this lawsuit go away ... He really wants this lawsuit, and all the nasty allegations in it, to disappear because it's starting to hurt his image."
Mary and Steve had been married for more than 10 years. Before the settlement, Mary was receiving only $1,000 a month and no child support from her millionaire ex-husband.

I'm not surprised that he has that much money, for some reason his comedy shows usually sell out and he has had his own T.V. show, radio show, and he's played roles in a few movies....So he has it but I don't believe this hype of a story...MTO I agree with Pooh9 minimize that dang pic...It almost scared the heck out of me....

Mary has been riding with Steve since the begining when they was living out of a car in Dallas, Texas while he was trying to get his career started and his club up in running and all the other *** *** she had to put up with, plus her name was on most of the stuff that he has now. So I think she deserve it.

He's always trying to preach, I don't get into his characters he does. I can't stand that chick Shirley's voice it's so dammm irritating and the other one too! 1. I don't like Steve Harvey, I can't stand the tone of his voice, all slow and dragging- like he's saying something so profound. His voice is the same as nails against a chalkboard, acutally the nails/chalkboard is like a lullabye in comparison. And uggh, those stupid played out zoot-suits. He thinks he is so intelligent, with a ***-daddy edge. He makes me so sick, I just want to pee.

No *** deserves 10 mill. Sorry, but i'm killin' any *** that tries to rob me like that. It's not like she wrote his jokes or got him into television. unbelievable, he is worth a whole lot more than that. Mary, have your lawyer summon the books that have not been presented. Or just tell about all the shows that he has been on whether he was acting or was presenting. He is still making millions on the re-runs of both the shows he starred in. Also, WBLS here in New York is paying him royaly. His clothing line etc. Get yours and the next time Girl... pay attention.
He is so phoney. I never thought he was funny. Any comedian (in my opinion) who laughs at their own jokes (like he does) is not funny. Awhile ago my mother asked me why does he talk so country?? I told her I thought it was part of his phoney act. He's from Cleveland, I live in the midwest and no one I know talks like that.
I remember years ago when he was receiving some sort of lifetime achievment award or something (I think on BET) and his wife Mary was standing behind him as he was giving his acceptance speech. He was of course giving her accolades and talking about how she is partially responsible for his success. The whole phoney spleel he always gives. She was standing there looking so evil. It was so obvious that I remember calling several people and telling them to look at her facial expression and body language. She didn't crack a smile and looked like she really didn't want to be there. It was so obvious that something was wrong in that relationship.
He himself said she was partially responsible for his success so if that's the case the brother should pay up POINT BLANK...PERIOD

So how much is staying with your Man when he was just a blue collar man and then helping him come up worth? That is what is wrong with black families today....The men get money and leave their wife for the ho they were cheating with. Then they lose it all because it was the wife that supported and help them come up not the ho she just s*uck your d*ck and spent your money.
K2TheJ ... What pension ? he's self employed. but again, this is wife number two, they weren't MARRIED for ten years. They have been in and out of court on the regular. He was always talking on his show about how "GOD" is so amazing in helping him with his troubles. Well I guess he never heard the saying "GOD DON'T LIKE UGLY "
