In a series of videos, the former B2K singer claimed that Chris Stokes molested him - and he suspects that Chris molested Marques Houston and the other members of B2K - including Omarion. Now it appears that Chris Stokes and his team of lawyers and publicists are fighting back. The team sent MediaTakeOut.com a series of statements.
The first one was a statement from Chris Stokes publicist. Here is an excerpt:
The accusations that Demario Raz B Thorton and Ricardo Thorton have made are vehemently false and hold no merit. I have recently stopped financially supporting both individuals along with assisting them with their criminal and legal matters which leads me to believe they are resentful and looking to benefit financially from this. My family is my first priority and the reason why I have been so supportive of them. In bringing these false claims, they have not only slandered me, they have also put me in a position to ensure that the truth is known and I will take all legal routes to protect myself, my family and my four children," said Chris Stokes, CEO of The Ultimate Group. Its also quite ironic that these statements were made only 2 weeks after they were denied admittance by a venue for an event I hosted in Beverly Hills," added Stokes.Then last night, we received a rather nasty letter from a lawyer that included the following paragraph:
Cease and desist with your further transmission of such videos, blogs and any alleged "news" stories related [to Raz B's allegations] as you are liable for the further transmission of the false statements resulting in further harm to my clients. Failure to promptly comply with this request will result in my client seeking all possible legal recourse against you, including but not limited to filing a multi-million dollar lawsuit. As such, your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.Well, as you can see, Chris Stokes and Marques' people are not playing. So we're going to have to be extremely careful in the way in which we report this story.
You can expect this story to magically disappear from the front pages of most other blogs. But don't worry guys, we won't be bullied into silence.
We're hearing that in the next day or so - some more EXPLOSIVE allegations will be coming out of Raz B. Keep checking back. We hear things are about to HEAT UP!!! UPDATE - Raz B has since recnted his allegations against Chris Stokes and apologized to Chris for putting him through this ordeal.

I'm glad he's exposing it so possibly he'll (Chris Stokes ) 1) be prosecuted (doubt it) 2)stop (doubt it) or 3) make these parents think about it before they allow him or any other questionable adult to manage there children. Ricky Romance and not Raz B was the one discussing having lunch with Chris Stokes. I can understand him wanting to confront him personally (he may want to kick that a@@). Ricky Romance should feel really, really guilty for sending his brother in that situation. Especially since he admits he knew what was going on. I don't understand how someone could put their sibling in harms way. That's just messed up.
Also:
There is not statue of limitation on child molestation. Why do you think all these priests are being convicted for crimes they committed 20...30...40 years ago. It's so sad when you hear and see those grown men crying and expressing how the molestation from these priests have affected them over the years. I'm sure some of these young men from the boy groups will suffer some of the same fate (drug abuse, alcoholism, bisexuality, etc) if they don't get help beforehand. The shame and the guilt will tear them up.

It two things here...The first is that I believe that Chris Stokes did feel up those kids, from O to Raz B. The second thing is that the only reason this bad infor is coming out now is because of what happen in the club and the cutting oof of $$ to Raz B fam. With respect to the statute of limitations issue, it is NOT true that there is no statute of limitations with respect to sexual abuse. It depends upon the state where the crime occurred. In many states, the only crime that does not have a statute of limitations is murder. Some states have changed their laws so that the statute of limitations does not start to run for *** abuse crimes against children until the child becomes an adult...usually the age of 18. Some states have not changed their laws and many people are unable to bring their attackers to justice in criminal court.
Also, people are confusing civil and criminal law. The Catholic Church is being sued in many cases in civil court for monetary damages. That is why they are paying up. The statute of limitations in many states prevents many from bringing their accuser up on charges criminally.
I have no idea what the case is here or what state and/or states the abuse is alleged to have occurred here. It may be the case that it is too late for Raz to bring criminal and/or civil charges.
Okay since Chris is claiming the accusations are false, then why is he going all out of his way to sure Raz B for the confession videos? I mean if they weren't true he wouldn't have had to result to all this. I mean Raz B has nothing to lose, and what amount of money is he going to get from him? I mean seriously. Why would Chris say he doesn't do that anymore on the phone conversation. And I believe when Chris found out about the videos he probably went off and told Raz just for that I'ma sue your *** or something. This is my first time posting a comment on MTO. I would like to ask each of you..What did Chris say he does not do anymore? On the video, Chris NEVER says what he does not do anymore. The part of the taped conversation prior to the statement was intentionally not included to persuade or bias everyones views. Also Ricky Romance appeared to be "rolling a joint/ blunt". If that is the case then I find it difficult to believe his allegations for he could have possibly been under the influence.
Secondly, I must say to MTO that the word of God says that there is life and death in the power of the tongue. Anything that is said can never be taken back. WHY ELSE WHEN HE MAKES A VIDEO LIKE SOMEBODY HELP ME IT GOES STRAIGHT TO VIDEO/DVD? NOONE WILL WORK WITH HIM BECAUSE HE HAS A BAD REP AND HE'S A THIEF. MARQUES HOUSTON IS ANOTHER LIAR. HALF THE PEOPLE THAT WORK WITH THEM DON'T EVEN GET ALL THEIR MONEY FROM STOKES, AND I KNOW MAD PEOPLE WHO WERE ONLY GIVEN HALF OF THEIR MONEY FOR THEIR WORK WITH STOKES. I WANT THAT TO BE KNOWN AS WELL. HE DOESN'T FULLY PAY THEM! I can go on and on about this issue but I won't.
If sometihng like that happen to me I dont think that i would come out and admit it to the public I think he wants attention not so being so popular with a popular group is hard and having no talent to do it on your own is a let down .
