Oh please. Everyone doesn't want or need Gigantic Bling. Who really wants to wear that everyday. I have three wedding sets. My original one is platinum and nearly 3 carats (not huge but not tiny either) but I don't like wearing it when I'm on vacation...or on most days when I'm very busy etc...I would hate if something happened to it. So I have two others that I switch it out with...both of those are white gold with smaller carat weights. I wear them most often because I'm very active and kind of low key. I do wear my original one too but not daily. My husband understands. Most of my friends who are married also have at least 2 sets. Their original and one they wear daily..especially if the original attracts a lot of attention or is substantial. The marriage is not about the ring. I've been married for a long time and the ring is merely a symbol of marriage but it really has nothing at all to do with the marriage or says anything about how much the man loves you. first of all how do you know what htat ring is worth? not everything has to be so big! When I priced rings, i found that the one I want is pretty pricey and an average person wouldnt be able to tell that it was worth over 50,000. I priced a heart shaped canadian 2 carat ricng set in platinum and it was only a VVS! over 50,000. Now two carats aint that small but it aint all that big either. Imagine if I wouldve priced some IF class diamonds, a 1 ct would have been over 100,000 dollars so mto need to *** up. bc her ring is probably worth more than what this site makes in its whole career.
