Remember that concert tour that Alicia Keys, Beyonce' and Missy Elliot were on? Well we know what happen to ticket sales when Alicia dropped off the tour. They plummeted. Beyonce' thought she should be the headliner. Think again, Bey. Alicia's albums sales can't be touched by Beyonce. And neither can her looks.

I love, love, love her new cd. My favorites are That's the thing about love & I Need U. So touching, so personal, so inspirational.
No gimmicks, no tricks, to weave swinging, no booty shaking, just her voice and the instruments. That cd is going to be timeless like "The Mis-Education of Lauryn Hill".
Plus she's an intelligent person, with a mind of her own. Keep making us hard working, intelligent sister look good Alicia.
She seems off to me though, Dont know what it is but something is just not right...

The Shoparazzi You are a *** liar. Beyonce got way better reviews than Alicia on that tour and she was who everybody really came to see. Didn't no sales drop. And look at who's the bigger star now hmmm Beyonce! So GTFOH with that ***. Beyonce has covered 183 magazines. How many has Alicia covered? Yeah exactly probably not even half that so how the hell does she look better? Yeah right. And Beyonce has sold 130 mill records including solo and DC so how has Alicia sold more than her? If Alicia was really all that then why would you feel the need to bring up Beyonce for? Exactly because Beyonce is on top. If you're gonna hate then at least hate with FACTS and not those dumb opinions that you typed.
Now as for Alicia I love her just like I do Beyonce, Mary, Mariah and a million other artists. It's ridiculous when people try to downgrade one artist in order to uplife another *shoparazzi*. *** like that is so unnecessary. SMH And even though I'm happy for Alicia I doubt she will reach those numbers again. Mary did 700,000 first week her album before last and now her last album didn't sell as much first week. The same will probably happen to Alicia. But I wish her and all the other female artists the best.
DCfanforever I don't know if it's that serious. You sound like Beyonce's manager or something. Everyone has their own opinions...It's common sense though that Beyonce is on top because *** SELLS. Alicia Keys aint on tv with her *** hangin all out which is probably why we hear about mainstream beyonce. I respect them both so I can't hate on either one of them. They are both talented young women. They are just very different.

At any rate, their musical styles are different and there's no comparison. 'Leesh ain't studying Beyonce -- she's busy doing her thing. Don't know why people insist on comparing them.
And I love Alicia's cd, there's something on it for everybody...my favorites are Superwoman, the Intro (she does fabulous piano intros!) and Teenage Love Affair really showcases her vocal range. Oh hell, I love the entire cd, listen to it all the time, and I love Alicia, she's a picture of class and style.

JAERO I ain't nobody's manager and I'm just voicing my opinion just like your ***. I think it's wrong to tell lies about one celebrity just to try to make another look good. And last time I checked Alicia is trying to look sexy just like everybody else in the game. I'm an Alicia fan too and if somebody was telling lies about her in order to make someone else look good then I would defend her too. I don't believe in all the *** rumors and I've defended lies against her and others in the past. There's a difference b/*** stating an opinion and flat out lying. I state facts and I don't lie about celebrities I don't like. People need to learn the difference.
One of my 2 favorite artists looks beautiful as usual. I love Beyonce AND Alicia. Why do people compare them? They are both the best at what they do. Alicia said they might collaborate on her or Bey's next album and ya'll know that would be the collaboration of the century! The two best in the game showing the non-talented chicks how it's suppose to be done. Oh and shopparazzi that was uncalled for. I agree with dcfanforever on that. Alicia is such a natural beautiful and tripple talented!!! I love to hear her speak!! She is so beautiful and doesn't have to smile. At least she has a lot of different qualities other then a nice shape,knowing how to sing and playing the Piano. Can't say that about everyone else!! In my eyes..Alicia is the queen and I am always going to Rep my Harlem NYC Queen!! Go Alicia!! And stay beautiful and respectful with out taking your clothes off and flying across the stage like Batman!!

She is gorgeous. I love Alicia Keys. I know she's not with that guy, because for as long as i've known of her, i've been hearing that she is still with her highschool sweetheart (or something like that). I heard he was in her "Unbreakable" video with her in the *** when she was on the fire escape. Gotta love her. She's so *** talented.

Alicia is stunningly beautiful, especially in more recent years with the hair down straight out of the braids, etc. Her face looks completely different, in a good way. Not that she was ugly before :), just prettier now.
@ The Shoparazzi: Um, sweetie, I went to that Ladies First Tour with Beyonce, Alicia, Missy and Tamia. I was in the building on the next to last show of the tour. Alicia was on the show, and NEVER dropped off of the tour. The building was sold out, and so was every show on that tour. So to say Alicia dropped off of the tour, and the ticket sales plummeted...... that's just you taking a *** at Beyonce without any facts backing up what you're saying, because Alicia dropping off the tour DID NOT HAPPEN, NOR DID THE TICKET SALES. I love the way people like to revise history and make it something different than it was, just to make someone look bad. Other than that, Shoparazzi, love your posts usually.

@Bolio..everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however..Alicia is very proud to be black!! At least she is not dying her hair blod to look white..she's happy with what she has!! She is a true talent and a queen in my eyes and always will be..but like I said..everyone is entitled to their own opinion!!! And my father is not black..so what does that make me?? I'm a black women and always will be!! Just because she's light skinned doesn't mean that she's not black!! She is hood and very down to earth!!

Why are people here always trying to pit Alicia and Beyonce against each other? They've both mentioned that Alicia and the original DC become friends while on a Columbia Records sponsored retreat when they were teenagers. AK and Bey fell out of touch when AK jumped over to J Records after Clive was let go, and reconnected again when Alicia hit the scene with Songs in A Minor.
