: Yesterday MediaTakeOut.com told you about a lawsuit against Lil Wayne on his 1999 Bentley. But now we're hearing that he's having trouble paying for his other car - a 2005 Bentley.
Here's what one of MediaTakeOut.com's faithful readers who claims to be in-the-know told us about Wayne's finances:
I work for Suntrust Bank and they are laying us off so I could less if they know that I said this. But Lil Wayne has a '05 Bentley that doesn't pay the loan on.Dang, we gotta get a loan from Suntrust bank. You can be late 125 days and they don't repo your car. Where do we sign up....His payments are $4999.00 a month and right now he's 125 days past due. think about this...wayne is not signed to a major label...he is signed to cash money, and universal gave them up big money up front for a distribution deal. baby, and slim owns cash money...wayne is an employee...if he is like any other artist he is given an advance or $$ amount for X number of albums, until he fills that obligation (which does not include mix tapes) he receives no other monies except from tours, and guest appearances...remember Juvie said baby was giving him 10K for a show, and charging the promoter 100K..so is wayne broke..could be in the sense of a "rich" person $5000 car note, at least a 5 digit mortgage...but not in the sense of the rest of us with $1300 mortgages, and $500 car notes....btw mixtapes dont pay every mixtape i heard from him was a bootleg copy of a bootleg copy from some african...which if he is making money off of it he has to pay the original producers of the songs he uses
A lot of people are saying he cant be broke, because he made alot of mixtapes. And I think that most of the mixtapes didnt cost money to get and alot of people downloaded them. Artists get cents on everythiing they sell, the labels front them the money and unless they cut out the middle man (writers, producers, arrangers,studio ect.) they aren't bringing in the big money.
