Miss612, if you see my music collection you would know that I know what real music is. I own the music of all of the artists you named. Of course, Pac is my favorite rapper. True enough, the ones you named, Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, India.Arie, and many more, are throwing that knowledge at you (and some meaningful lyrics). But every artist don't have to make music like that for it to be quality music. All I'm saying is that with complaining about his music will not do anything.
