I can't get with that going all out retro ***...maybe rockin some bamboo earrings or "something" retro but to wear that *** from head-to-toe? Naw...but they are kids so they are gonna wear the wild'***'crazy looks to stick out!!! They don't use the phrase young, flashy, and flyy for no reason!
Now to see a grown-*** person wearing this ish...that would be sad:-( lol.
i see absolutely nothing wrong with these photos. to ME this is hip hop. hip hop is not black or white, its about making something your own. which is exactly why these ppl CAN dress.
the first in last pictures looks like something will smith would have been seen rocking on the "fresh prince." so did that show lack elements of hip hop? as far as the little mermaid jacket goes, i remember about 5-7 years ago when i couldnt go to the mall without seeing dozens of guys rocking M&M Candy Nascar Racing jackets. but b/c its disney its not hip hop. oh ok...
in my personal opinion, i would much rather see men dressed like these young ppl than fitting into a standard cookies cutter ideal of what is hot or looking like some of these hood dudes on here. they each have their own personal style. its not just NY, its every major city. i attended the HBCU with the "world's greatest homecoming on earth." this was not unnormal from day to day.
MTO once again nothing valuable to say as usual, I live in Brooklyn I don't see anyone dressed here like that at all are you crazy ? Here in the (Stuy) as soon as you step outside it's a laughing party from the time you leave until the time you get back. It looks as though the kids dressed like this on purpose for some kind of project for school or something like that and these pictures are old as hell.
These outfits are ugly!!! It seems like the outfits are made so these guys look like a fruit-salad. It seems like SoujahBoy started looking girly and dancing girly and it's caught on. Shame they look so bad. That dance the swag that he thought was gonna catch-on didn't, THANK GOODNESS, it looked a flaming and ***. Next they'll wear colored bras over their clothes. SAD.
i DONT KNOW I ACTUALLY THINK SUM OF THEM OUTFITS ARE CUTE... DONT GET ME WRONG I LUV A MAN THAT CAN DRESS BUT I DONT WANT HIM TO OUT SHINE ME... BUT THE GIRL DRESS THE SAME WAY THEY CALL IT SKITTLES... SO THATS THEY STYLE.... REMEMBER KANYE WEST WAS DRESSED LIKE THAT AT THE BET HIPHOP AWARDS... WITH THE TIGHT RED SKINNY JEANS AND ETC. BUT ON THE REAL I WAS SO *** TIRED OF DEM WHITE TEE'S.... BUT SUM OF THEM *** TOOK IT ALITTLE BIT OTHER BOARD AND SUM DIDNT
IM LOVING THE LOOK...SEE MY MAMA USED TO TELL ME EVERYTHING REPEATS ITSELF. NOW I SEE WHAT SHE WAS TALKING BOUT. IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY AND YOU KNOW YA HISTORY THEY KINDA LOOKIN LIKE THE GUYS FROM THE 60'S AND LATE 50'S BUT HTEY ROCKED IT OUT. AND TO ME IT LOOKS HOT. IM GLAD OUR PEOPLE ARE DOING THEM AND NOT TRYNA STAY SO CAUGHT UP IN WHAT ERRBODY ELSE IS DOING. NOW PEEP GAME...SOON AS A MAINSTREAM ARTIST HAVE PEOPLE IN THEY VIDEO WEARING THIS ERRBODY GONE JUMP ON THE WAGON. JUST LIKE THE WHOLE SKULLS AND SPIKED BELTS AND ISSH. I REMEMBER WHEN ONLY THE METAL AND WHAT WE WOULD CALL WEIRDOS WORE THAT. NOW THE HARDEST *** BE IN SKULLS AND SPIKES. SO COMMERCIAL THO. USED TO HAVE TO GO TO HOLLYWOOD TO SEE THAT AND IT USED TO BE A JOKE AND SO FUNNY BUT NOW YOU CANT TELL WHO'S WHO AND WHAT'S WHAT. SO COMMERCIAL. IMA WEAR MY PANTIES AND BRA OUTSIDE MY TIGHT JEANS, WIT CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS FOR EARRINGS AND SEE WHAT DAT DO. LOL. PUT IT ON A VIDEO AND ITS GONE BE THE STYLE...SO COMMERCIAL.
see the problem is- all the pics MTO posted are horrible pics of kids trying to rock the styles- but not pullin it off correctly- there are a ton of black kids in ny- that dont dress in timps and sean john and all that hop-hop ***- instead they have their own style- just like when hip-hop first started- it was creative-mto just chose the wrong photos
but hip-hop fashion is wack anyhow- so im happy to see something different then all yall fools that are hatin- yall all look the same and it bores the *** out of me
To TheTRUTH555 Flag post The kid in the orange *** looks like a human tweezer.
******************************************************* You have me dying over here!! LMAO You guys have me crackin up this morning. Let the kids have fun. I wore some of this stuff the first time around. I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANY GROWN FOLKS WITH THIS STUFF ON, 26 & UP! haha New York all the way
I like that fact that the '80s and early '90s are coming back in style...but this cats aren't even old enough to remember this era to do it right. They look like they are "tasting the rainbow"
I say we have a nation wide return of the '80s and '90s...Cross Colors, biker *** (no panties for no pantie lines), Gumbys, ramps, crimps and braids in the same hairstyle, all that fly mess...***...just go watch House Party or something like that! cause it "aint my type of hype baby..."
some of these young cats are dressing like this in NY. it is kind of *** to me they have been doing this for a while. it's the retro look or as some will say that skateboard look.If you ever saw the MTV show my super sweet 16 the girl from Harlem who had Pharrell perform was wearing these 80"s style and all her friends had that on Some Jamaicans wear this Look as well. this was way before Kanye. Pharrell used to Rock stuff like this. they are trying to bring the 80's back with the flat tops and the tight a$$ jeans, ***, jackets, rope chains etc. Maybe then they will start listening to the HIP HOP back then and appreciate real Hip Hop......Let the Youngsters live. this for Kids...
@beatsRwhatIdo They dress'*** like that in D.C too. I was down in China town and I thought the was bout to bust out breakdance'***. *************************************************
So true! LMAO! I see it too in Texas, but very slowing creeping in... I personally don't see a problem with it. I don't have any children but if I did I'm sure I would be cool with it. Well maybe some ARE going TOO FAR! (Elmo fanny pack, nah!)
I live in New York and have seen this style a few Times, everyone here doesn't dress like that. I actually like the way they do it in NY because they pick one or two 80's elements, not all these crazy combinations. I've actually seen this "fresh" style look great when done in moderation. I can't front when I watch some old fresh prince episodes I like some of his gear lol It is true that NY sets the trends.........Think about it. If u have enough Harlem teens rocking this to 106&Park it will be in your local high school in some corny town, but by the time it gets there it will be over here. I love how New Yorker's have their own style (even if I don't agree with it always). This look is for the High School Kids, I better not see anybody I gratuated with in 01' wearing this mess!!! lol The first three guys from the left in the group picture don't look bad. That mermaid jacket is horrible....and not even 80's! Dude with the Elmo pouch is killing me, He looks like flavor Flav and Tyrone Biggum's love child. My mother is always complaining about my generation....Now we dressing like hers....Take that Ma! :-p
Oh STOP SUCKING OUR *** MTO!!!
If anything, these udoin dudes are straight outta the Village (cuz some of them people in Manhattan be losing they gotdamn f@ggy minds) cuz no one in Brooklyn, Queens, or the Bronx dresses that colorful.
I'm 18, straight from Crown Heights and I stay jigged! U wanna know the truth about NYC teens, then google us! We're legendary! LOL
And kids in the south or the west coast WISH they were as fly as us!
BROOKLYN, PUT YA LIGHTERS UP! NYC PUT YA LIGHTERS UP! (Sorry, but they were talkin about my generation so I had to go hard lol)
*And BTW who the fck is Fred tryna talkin about? Lookin like a burnt *** Kiebler Elf!*
Im from New York, and I work in Fashion and I'll tell you that noone dresses that way. Some elements from old school 80's are coming back, but not to this extent. You people @ MTO just REACH for stories dont you? Anything to make your fan base think you're actually updating faster than the other BLACK BLOGS, when in actuality, you stories suck!
O please MTO they are straight from the village. Yes, a lot of kids are following the retro movement but u telling me that u couldnt at least find some good examples? MTO stop reaching smh! And I come from a fam of "***" and yes they wear their clothes fitted but they're not heavily into the 80's thing, just into looking nice so im not sure where that one came from. The 80's movement have been going on for some time though. Why are u guys so late?
First of all hip don't sell because hip hop is dead. I am so sick of people from the south hating on people from up top. Just an FYI we don't talk about people from the south the way that you guys talk about us. People in NY don't have time for that type of thing. I live in GA now but I will always rep NY cause that's home to me. I live here for employment reason not because it is a better place to live. STOP HATING ON NYC. YOU JUST MAD cause your style and swagger is wack. The people down here get your style from us, I have seen people tryto pull off this look down here but it don't work cause your swagger ain't like outs.
Like Diddy says "You can hate me now, but I wont stop now"
Stop Hating MTO
@ SunshineNYC1
Yo PREACH!!! I went to South Carolina two summers ago to visit fam and Virginia last summer, AND THEY STAY TALKING ABOUT NYC! Like it's an obsession to some of them, and I don't like to use the word but they truly be hatin on us!
"Oh u from Brooklyn mayne, wtf, who cares pimpin?"
Ugh...its some sad ***.
don't get me wrong walkin tha nyc streets i am seeing alot more young cats wearing some outrageous sh it...not to this extent but ALOTTT of em i see wearing tight azz pants now. i graduated h.s in '95 & back in my day mah *** would never be caught dead wearing some pharrell jeans. that would be jokes all day for whoever dared do sum sh it like dat !!! guess times is changing ...*** might be in a hood near you soon so all other cities who say hell naw...look out!!
And they say Atlanta is ***. New York is Sooo ***. I go up there from time to time and I really think that New York brought that *** *** to Atlanta. New Yorkers have bad *** to say about Atlanta but Half of them are down here. WHY?
You see most of the stylist to rappers are *** New Yorkers. That's why rappers running around here looking like girls. Wearing charm braclets, pink, dressing all Feminine. They need a serious reality check. Why would another man let a *** man dress him? Start off by asking Jay-Z this!!!
its a dance team called team rtro or some like that that started the whole 80's throw back clothing style but i have seen some people on 106 and park in the audience dressed like that it looks ridiculous to me but its cool they have their own swagga but if i see a grown *** man with that on thats a problem but in the chi were im from mostly everybody rockin evisu and ed hardy the whole rock/hiphop swag
okay, well, im sooooo over the 80's fashion craze. i mean, it was cool at first but now everyone has gone kind of overboard and are acting as if the 80's is the only time period to reference for trends etc. but yeah, as far as the picture with all the guys standing on the wall, they're NOT from New York. They're actually from Washington DC. They're called BBC (Billionaire Boyz). My friend Jeff (Rocket) is the founder of the group and they dont necessarily model they're style from the 80's, they just like clothes.
here's his myspace with the original version (better quality) of that picture. They were in Downtown silver spring MD when they took that pic. Hate to burst your bubble mediatakeout but you need to check your sources, sometimes at least, lol.

No str8 guy pose with their back curl(kid with the green tee) and hands touching the next dude (balck t ***). you al lare idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes, the colrful [EXPLETIVE] is in effect once again, but no str8 guy wears a *** mermaid jacket. Those are some little Village Kids who hang out at The Pier and Christopher Street.

@ krazy kay...nah yo. that pic is NOT wsup. i can't stop shielding my eyes. lol.
i'm still crackin' up from dude before who said money in the camouflage jacket look like sticky fingaz.
NEW YORK NUKKAS DRESS WACK AS HELL...I WILL SAY IT AGAIN...NEW YORKER'S CAN NOT DRESS AT AAAALLLL...AND YALL THINK YALL ARE SOOOO FLY WITH THEM LABLES (YALL CANT AFFORD) PLASTERED ALL OVER YOUR ISH, AND ALL THE *** (FAKE) JEWELRY, AND UGLY *** FURS, DON'T ISH EVER MATCH, AND YALL SWEAR YALL FLY!!!!!
im from NY and I never see kids dressed like this. They made be "boi"s from Harlem. But the funny thins is this, Cam started rocking pink (which orginated in harlem as a substitute to wearing Blood Red) and all of a sudden, pink was everywhere. Men wearing pink polos, all black suit outfits with pink ties; I even saw a guy in Harlem wearing PINK JORDANS. So please believe, some of yall are laughin now but trust, in time, teenagers will be wearing what they're wearing.
I agree. No offense to anyone from New York (not that I care if I offend anyone) but gosh, some of the *** that I see them wearing is awful. Maybe its not all New Yorkers but tell your little brothers and sisters that go on 106 to put on something that MATCHES and to comb their *** heads. I mean seriously, that is NOT a good look. They look horrible. Yet New Yorkers like to think they start everything. I'm sorry, that look is NOT poppin no where else. Not even in Jersey. lol
tell me what they are wearing has ANYTHING to do with selling records. Hip Hop is not selling, not because of clothing; but a lack of TALENT. As a golden child of the magical era of the 80's and early 90's the style of clothing was not even a part of the attire. MTO you are foolish to link the clothing to record sales in hip hop. Where I came from a MAN would not be caught dead in pink, but these fools wear more pink than the AKAs. Hip hop sales are going down cause these days you have these microwave artists who are more laser and lights than actual talent. For the OLD SCHOOL folks; remember the days when all you really need was a MC and a DJ. The artist had to drive from one venue to another, sleep in the airports, carry your own equipment, stayed at the Red Roof Inns, etc. Remember those days?? Remember when you got into the studio, you actually wrote your own rhymes, and had little or no guest appearances, remember?? What do the microwaves artist have to do today?? NO TALENT. 500 artist saying the same thing over the same beats, but a different artist. Nothing original. What is really different from street A in NYC to street B in Texas, to street C in Cali. Everyone today is a ***, a thug, a player that is most of the time too stupid to understand how they have little capital after going platinum/gold. And they want to blame the record label for a bad deal. If they would have spent more time educating themselves rather than partying, they may have understood that. But don't for a minute link clothing and sales together. Its like oil and water.
My theory on hip-hip is this. The execs have been trying get rid of hip-hop from the get. So what they've done is put the crappiest form of hip-hop out, over saturate the industry with it until people people get sick of it. They don't care if a few rappers get rich off the of the comercialization of it, because one, they're making 1000 times more and two, it won't be long before it's extinct. They've ignored all of the talented mc's that resemble the ones of the 80's and 90's and abandoned them. Now you see, records aren't selling, record labels are folding and "walla" hip-hop is dead. And a lot of people fell for that okey doke.
That's the theory that I've been thinking about. Rap started to decline in the late 90's and continued to go left and south.
WOOOOOO Lawd plz stop ya'll are kill'*** me!!!! That dude look like he stole his sister's lil mermaid jacket with those ashy hands he look ***. Now dude with the matching hat doesn't look to bad. But the fool with the elmo pouch is rediculous wit it!! That's just to much stuff. I seriously hope he doesn't go outside like that. And that group pic looks really ole.
I'M FROM NY SO I SEE THIS LOOK HERE AND THERE, BUT AN ELMO POUCH? ANYWAY TO EACH HIS/HER OWN BUT IT'S FUNNY HOW THESE TRENDS JUST START AND PEOPLE FOLLOW SUIT. IF THAT WAS NOT A TREND RIGHT NOW WITH THE "RETRO" KIDS, THESE KIDS WOULD NOT EVEN WEAR THAT. BUT PEOPLE JUST LOVE TO FOLLOW, AT LEAST IT'S CREATIVE.
MTO, youre such stupid mother f*ckers..you knew that people from NYC would get p*ssed off if you accused us of dressing this way..and it worked..f*ck you MTO..I was born and raised in NYC and still live here and I NEVER see any of the young kids dressed this way..these people obviously took these pics for fun and wanted to be outrageous with it..there are also crews of people who dress in retro gear that go to clubs to get attention..but this does not represent NYC! how dare yall insult the BIRTH PLACE of hip-hop! without NYC there would be NO hip hop, so dont try to play us like that..and some of yall country *** need to *** your *** mouths, I wont even comment on the tragic styles that have come out of certain areas of this country-not naming anywhere specific..lets just say-jheri curls, socks with flip flops, grills..the list goes on and on..NYC is the mecca of fashion and style, from hip hop gear to high fashion couture!
To each their own.But we all know New Yorkers are very fashionable people, fashion forward too. We do dress apart. This year is all about the skinny jeans, the high top sneakers and colorful *** or jackets. It's the 80's all over again. I am so looking forward for Fashion Week in Manhattan which will start in about two weeks.
they tryna bring the 80s back and 95% of them were born in the 90s.. they look stupid.. im from new york and i HATE that rockstar/sk8board/fresh prince look.. no male should b wearin 80 colors and think that hes fresh.. then u got dudes wit the tight *** jeans.. smh thats crazyyyyy howu shop @ the same place ya *** shop??? they need to be original and stop watchin t.v.. lo0kin like a box of casino chips... big *** bowl of froot loops.. when will this epidemic die??
Some new yorkers have been wearing 80-'s style clothes for the longest. this trend has been goin on for a while out in california especially in the bay where im from and i hope it dies pretty soon lol. Like on that episode of sweet 16 w/ teyanna taylor i know her party was 80's theme but it seems like depending on where ur from out there ppl rock the b boy and b girl ***. This is really nothin new at all.
now i was born in 88 and for a minute i was all for the 80's style but all this stuff right here man i cant even speak on. i dont see how wearing a lil mermaid racin jacket is considered 80's style(didnt that movie come out in the 90's?) and the elmo fanny pack iis just a mess.
LMA[SPAM]OOOOO @ that *** wit the tiny *** mermaid jacket on. awwww man, me being from NYC & a fashion major i have to say that I am ashamed. lol like really this whole 80's trend is outta hand.
lol Bajan4lyfe..you say you've never seen ppl dressed liek that yo..go to harlem..deep in harlem..and YOU WILL find them. trust they are there, and its rediculous
(to MTO)LMFAO!!! GIRLY_GIRL202 told ur ***!! lol
anywho.. its cool.. me like it.. 80's is bak but with a millenial touch. VERY trendy for the high skool and college students.... I go to a fashion skool myself and this is very trendy in the hip hop community and its also crossing to the white people here in downtown L.A.
i think Some of yall @ MTO forgot how it was in College and High Skool
HAHAHA! MTO! Y'ALL SALTY AS SH*T! THIS IS DC!!! AND, US IN PHILLY BEEN ROCKIN' THIS FOR A MIN! NY DIDN'T BRING THIS BACK OUT! WE WERE DRESSIN' LIKE THIS LIKE 4 OR 5 YEARS AGO! NY GETS TOO MUCH CREDIT! PEOPLE ALWAYS AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME THAT EVERYTHING STARTS IN NY!... WRONG! HAHAHAHAHA!... IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN LIKE THAT BACK IN THE DAY, BUT, NY DON'T START EVERY FASHION TREAD ANYMORE... NOT BY FAR! SORRY! THEY'RE SOOOOOOOOOO OVA RATED!
Beleive me not all kids in NY dress like this....These kids probably go to school somewhere in the village....and likely *** 'cause they are taking it too far. I've seen some kids doing it and not looking like these clowns. The kid with the Ariel jacket, let me know where you got it...got a nine year old niece that is interested! LOL
MTO do not insult NYC like this please!!! im a high schooler from brooklyn and not all of us dress like this, just the hypebeasts living up in harlem. that *** is played out in bk although i have a betty boop jacket but at least im a female. we like retro but not all of us leave the house lookin like a box of cheap crayons beat us up.
AND THIS IS IN DC, GET YA *** TOGETHER!
and dont blame hip hop not sellin on that cuz i've seen white folk from philly in get ups much worse than this. blame the failure of hip hop on whack *** rappers who only snap. (sry for the cheap *** at the south lol)
WTH!!!!- I'm all for the throwback era of dressing, but this is ridiculous. I'll stick to my nice XL sized polo ***, baggy jeans, old school pumas, and old school adidas. The best years in hiphop was (1987-1996). These kids look like they time warped back to 1979! PEACE AND I'M OUUUUUT, FRESH, WORD, YO, BUGGIN, DEF,- EXCUSE MY SLANG TERMS FLASBACK MOMENT.
i don't know yo, most of the kids im seeing in the city and even when i try to go shopping for some gear, everything is tight fit.....jeans are skin tight, *** are skin tight and the sneakers are extra colorful......negroes is on some skateboard, uber *** ***........i was highly upset that i couldn't find ***...
Ummmm now Im from New York and this IS NOT the way we dress that colorful hat was from like 4 years ago.. Get it together.. People do wear racing jackets ( like the little mermaid) but they usually have on ones that are gender appropiate!!!
Yall know people from NYC been the FLYEST since the beginning of time... Other states get on *** 3 years after we do so stop it!! ( prada sneakers, gucci sneakers, polo ***) COME to a party or something or even to a club.. We been had the best style.. that will never change!!
WHATEVER MTO!!!! I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York so trust me aint no kid lookin' like this all day, every day unless they seriously want thier a/s/s/ beat down. Now Disney jackets or luney tune cartoon jackest are in style now ( taz, bugs, daffy ect.) so I can understand that part of the style, but wearing all those multi-colors at once.....IT AINT HAPPENN' IN NEW YORK!!!
It's nothing wrong with these kids tryin' to get their BROKE DOWN KANYE WEST ON!!!! Honestly, I live in the ATL now so I can tell you guys that the Looney Tune jackets are in style here. As for the tight jeans....GIVE ME A BREAK!!! Pharrell and alot of other artist are doing that trend now also, so New York isn't the only place.
@ THE LITTLE MERMAID JACKET *** ELMO FANNY PACK...NOT MY STYLE CUZ I'M OVER 13 NO MATTER WHAT STYLE YOUR TRYING TO PULL OFF!!! BUT I'M FROM NY AND I SEE COLORFUL KIDS ALL OVER BUT DAYM IT LOOKS MORE REDICULIOUS ON SCREEN.. AND I'M CO-SIGNING WHO EVER SAID A MAN CAOULDN'T HOLLA AT HER LOOKIN LIKE THIS...ENOUGH SAID!!
Growing up in the 80's in ***.Y.back then we had an Ill fashion sense Clarks,Mock Necks,Chams De Baron ***,Sharkskin pants,Leather Fronts,Benetton, custom made clothing from Dapper Dan's Uptown..so on and so forth,we knew how to rock some *** for reala, these young'ns nowadays walking around with their pants hanging off their *** down literally to their knees and their lucky charms colorful clothing; please- they wouldn't know a period decade statement of Fly by default was, if it literally ran up on them with a 9 to their face.." Real MOFO Talk.
im from NY..its true wherever i go i see alot of young people dressing like there from the 80s and what not..majority of them over do it tho with other accessories..lol but i like the look its different..to bad half of them dress like there from the 80s but don't know *** what happen in the 80s..smh..but other trend im starting to see up here..i REALLLY hate is this dudes wearing these tight *** pants..*** i can just go in there closet and wear there jeans ..
Yeah, I see these kids runnin around Manhattan sometimes. I like the throwback thing. Black kids in NYC and DC have always been the trendsetters for music, fashion, whateva. You guys will get this in your part of the country sooner or later. Same thing with Hip Hop... we had it here in NYC for years while ya'll was dissin it and still listenin to Michael Jackson.
i first pic and the last pic are from a fashion book that was just released, i believe they do it every year, a bunch of random people to showcase streetstyle in NY. the other two look like they are from that "fratority" *** bouy thing. which i dont mind either. i just think those picsa re from TOTALLY different things.
SMH!! MTO, YOU GUYS MUST DONT HAVE ANY GOOD STORES!!! AND BESIDES, THOSE ARE NOT KIDS FROM NY!!! IM FROM NY AND THEY DO NOT DRESS LIKE THAT!!! THEY MAYBE 80S/RETRO RIGHT NOW BUT NOT OVER DOING IT LIKE THEM KIDS IN THE PICS AND BESIDES, THOSE DUDES ARE *** AND YOU KNOW *** PPL ARE A LIL TOO EXTRA WITH IT
@ Shanny07! NO YA DON'T!!! NEWS FLASH! WE BE LAUGHIN' AT Y'ALL *** OVA HERE!... ME AND MY DUDE JUST THE OTHER NITE WERE JUST SITTIN' ON THE BED LAUGHIN' AT HOW ***' HYPE THESE 2 *** FROM OVA THERE, FROM HIS COLLEGE WERE ACTIN' WHEN HE BROUGHT THEM OVA TO THE HOUSE!
TO BE COMPLELETY HONEST I HATE TO SAY IT BUT THE SOUTH IS STARTIN' MORE TRENDS LATLY THEN Y'ALL! HAHAHA! Y'ALL ARE GETTIN' BUMPED WAY DOWN THE LIST WHEN IT COMES TO FASHION TREAND STARTERS! SORRY "SON"! HAHAHA!
WOW, they look super ***, people in the 80's wore bright clothes, but they did not look like this.....especially the dude with the Elmo fannypack LMAO!, I occasionally dress in the 80's style - I love the 80's, but theres no way in hell I'm goin out looking like these kids (who probably were born in the 90's and don't know *** about the 80's anyway)
Theres nothing wrong with bringing back 80's fashion.....its not hard to do, if you want the early 80's preppy look, then just wear a polo ***...not too *** not too long, some nice jeans...not too baggy, not too tight (like these fools), and all these super bright colors are just plain dumb, their stereotyping the 80's, I was born in 1987, raised around 2 older siblings who grew up in the 80's, so I grew up listening to all types of 80's music, looked at 80's movies etc like I said these fools have no clue about the 80's or even the early 90's.
I am from NYC proper (Big Up to Uptown!) and you must be a *** fool if you can't see that these boys are all ***??? They are TRYING to draw attention to their ***-*** selves. *** like attention and will act outlandishly and dress outrageously to get it. REAL Niccas is NOT running around the streets ddressed in no clown-looking *** like this! Smarten up!!!
Stop hatin on "NY" man,I'm from there thats my heart but yo " If U can make it in NY, U can make it anywhere for real. I live in the The Dirty now cause its cheaper not better. But every other state on the east coast copied NY's style with cloths, Ice, hip hop even bootleggin .My *** up top would never dress like that trust me People in the "A" say my dresscode is proper but I fell off compared to my *** up top.
LLov3ly---EXACTLY...ONLY A SMALL GROUP OF KIDS ARE DRESSING LIKE THEY'RE STAND INS ON THE FRESH PRINCE----THEY'RE MIXING THAT ALONG WITH THE RETRO 80'S LOOK....ENyCE IS AHEAD AS FAR AS THE DRESS GAME GOES---WE'RE LIKE YEARS AHEAD....ALWAYS HAVE BEEN ALWAYS WILL BE.....WE START IT AND PEOPLE FOLLOW.....
GET IT RITE MTO IT AINT ALL OF NYC ITZ A SMALL GROUP OR YOUNGINZ STILL FRESH IN HIGH SCHOOL THINKIN THEY A BUNCH OF MINI ROCK STARZ!
DONT BUMP ME IN WIT THAT CROWD, CAUSE WHENEVER I SEE THEM DRESSED LYKE THAT I JUST FEEL LYKE SNATCHIN THEIR SKATEBOADZ AWAY AND SMACKIN THEM UPSIDE THIER MOHAWKZ 1TYME..... AND KNOCKIN THOSE SPIKE LEE GLASSES OF THIER FOREHEADZ
