Ashanti looks wonderful. She's a beautiful girl, always has been - even on her worst days, and she always will be. She is very talented, whether you'd like to admit it or not. She may not have the strongest voice in the industry, but when you have artists out like Ciara, Rihanna, Cassie, Brooke Valentine, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, & Kelly Rowland - why is everyone still using Ashanti as a pin-up girl for those who can't sing. Yes, she's had her weak performances in the beginning, but what artist hasn't? The girl can sing. She can WRITE her *** off, and her acting and dancing aren't all that bad either. She's multi-talented. Unlike a lot of these musicians, or celebrities in general, Ashanti has PERSONALITY. She's still the same, humble, funny girl from 2001 that she is today. And for all you females, why are you consistently trying to limit her to what she can and can't do. Instead of sitting here nagging, asking why is she on the run-way, you should be proud that a young, successful BLACK woman is venturing out into all types of careers. That should be something you idolize. Not talk down upon. She's not just a singer, she's an ENTERTAINER. And CLEARLY she has been entertaining for the past 7 years of her career, since everywhere you go there's a blog or a post about her whether it be good or bad. Whether you like it or not, Ashanti can outshine half these "singers" out today. Just because she hasn't before, doesn't mean she can't. She is back. The 2002 Ashanti is back, so love her, or leave her alone - either way she's still going to be there.
