I read somewhere that most scientist agree that the whole idea of race makes no scientific or biological sense. Since all human beings come from the same original people in Africa. Its social conditioning. But its to late to get people to buy into that.
I think she is beautiful when she is made up and just cute when she is not that made up. To the comments about her race. She is not mixed she is 100% black. I met her relatives that stay in my hometown and Robin even made a comment in an interview that her father didn't want her to marry him at first because he was white. So if she was mixed why would her father care if she married a white man? Isn't that hypocritical? Because she is black, she is just light skinned.
To esotericdredz comment about black women dating sloppy, nerdy white boys. What black women are you around? Because the ones I see including me we get goodlooking white boys and vice versa. Black men be the ones with the sloppy fat white girls on their arms.
@ foxyfoxy, my experience is the 180 opposite of yours. Maybe its because I know a lot of professional, educated brothas, but as much as people talk about the "fat, sloppy white girl" myth, I just don't seen it. The brothas I know who date, or have dated, white chicks abide by the "if you're gonna get with one, she better be fine" rule. Where i'm at, I see them with the "go to the gym 5 days a week and eat rice cakes" type of white chick....lol
In the northeast, fewer brothas are into the "thick" (fat) thing, regardless of whether the woman's race.....Maybe brothas slum like that down in the country where their options are ***, but not from what I see...
@ tnj2323, yeah MTO is Kim obsessed, but if you notice, they always make little sideways comments about Reggie....and they absolutely clown Mekhi, Taye and a lot of other cats. They NEVER say a bad word about a sista with a white man. Its like they want to give them a medal lol. I got no problem with people dating who they want, but MTO can at least be fair.

And what interview was this? The people on Robin's website would love to find the source of that information or interview. I have never heard her say she was anything but african-american. According to her relatives that live in Memphis. She is not mixed. So I guess everybody is lying and exaggerating!
@ Foxy, I believe it was in s2s, you know under the dryer reading? lol Anyway, she admitted to being mixed; but indentifies as Africn-American. Of course I'm paraphrasing, but that was the jist. And isn't she from Cali? Not saying she can't have fam from TN, but u know when ppl become famous all these relatives and ppl who knew them when seem to appear.
