: Looks like there's friction between Kanye West and rapper Ne-Yo. In Kanye's new book, entitled Thank You And You're Welcome Kanye talks about one exchange he had with who MediaTakeOut.com has learned to be R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo.

But at least he paid Ne-Yo for his work .... unlike Beyonce and her song Irreplaceable....

Word on the street is Ne-Yo was allegedly thinking about suing Beyonce over her 2006 hit single “Irreplaceable.”
A source tells gossip website Mediatakeout.com, “[Ne-Yo] was never paid for writing the song ‘Irreplaceable.’ There was just an understanding that he’d help out on [Beyonce’s album] and when it was his time to make his album, Beyonce would return the favor.
In contrary to these reports, Ne-Yo tells Singersroom that this is not true.

I remember when MTO first got started. I can recall numerous stories of yall from like last year and even 06 like this. You do your assumptions and blind items and the stories turn out to be untrue. Then yall will be like "we'll confirm this in a few days...never comfirm anything. Like seriously, do yall think people forgot? I remember yall talking about the dude from MTV (in 06) writing a book based on the relationship he had with *** rappers. He was supposedly done with it then and it was coming out in 07. Donnell Jones was ***...and his lover put him on blast. Oh, that fake bow wow interview yall posted. Summer Walker was a call girl. Beyonce was 32, oh and yall had the certificate too huh? Keyshia Cole got the fighting with someone from memphis... Alicia Keys was in a cheap movie that got sent straight to video. (The movie was really smoking aces). If I'm not mistaking...the Ciara is a boy rumor got started here too. It was like one of yalls first stories. It amazing me how people play into this site so much. Radio stations even go as far as quoting yall now. I can't believe yall have blown up like that MTO. lol I'm slick proud of yall! How do yall know it was Ne-yo? It doesn't say so there...but anyway I agree with Kanye. Business is business, and if they came to a mutual agreement that instead of payment they would work on each other's next CDs, then that would have been fine. But apparently this is not the case with Kanye and whoever this other person is.
That was not a blast! It sounds like Ne-Yo wanted to do it as a favor to get one in return because both artist are good. Sounds like Kanye was tryna front like he a hotpiece. He aiight.
@Jamiejo86 Sisqo and Bobby Brown has gone country on CMT. They are tryna to become country singers. Sisqo got that platinum as hair but its a mohawk.
