: Rapper Young Jeezy has some explaining to do. According to one of MediaTakeOut.com's faithful readers, the Atlanta rapper is trying to cheat her disabled son out of a handicapped accessible van.
Here's the heart felt plea made by the boy's mom to MediaTakeOut.com:
In June of 2007 Jeezy decided to have a contest to coincide with his single with Keyshia Cole about Making your dreams come true. To enter the contest we had to email a 100 word essay describing what we wanted to make our dreams come true.Jeezy, we really hope that you aren't trying to cheat this woman and her son out of what you promised....I wanted a handicapped accessible van for my son. My son is 14 with cerebral palsy and I was taking care of him by myself because my husband was deployed in Iraq. My son can not walk at all so we have to physically lift him out of the wheelchair and in and out of the vehicle anytime we have to go somewhere.
Anyway, so in August of 2007, I received an email from a person from 5W Public Relations and she told me to call her in reference to the contest I had entered. I called and she informed me that Jeezy chose my essay and I had won. She also told me the announcement would be posted on the website (it was) and that she would arrange a conference call with him and I so he could congratulate me (no call).
She told me to give her my choices of the van I wanted and she would contact me. Over the course of a month I had not heard one thing from the PR firm. I began to send emails now and again because I assumed it would be a process.....now weeks go by and I send emails and sometimes I barely get a response from the PR person.
At the end of December I sent an email and inform her that I feel like I have been scammed and if there is any information she could give me on the status of the van I would appreciate it. The woman then tells me that she was told I would receive the van by the end of the month and that the reason I have not received it already is because he changed management companies and anything that was pending during that changed had been delayed, so I should definitely have the the van by the end of the month.
Okay.....December comes and goes, January comes and goes and I still had not heard anything from the PR firm. So yesterday, the day before yesterday, and today, I decided to email her with a status and guess what? I have not heard from anybody yet??
I feel like I have been scammed or something you know what I mean? And I was really depending on the van? I really do need it and was and still am depending on it. I understand that things take time, but to tell me I have won something and not keep me posted or anything is ridiculous?

Please say it ain't so. Jeezy azz is a sucker for doing someshing like this. The lady should take his azz to court and sue his azz. There was a similar atory when the radio announcer had told the lady that she won a new car but, when the lady came by to pick it up they gave her a toy model of the car as a joke. She sued them and they had to purchase the car that she had won.

If it is true the PR company needs to do as it advertised. Its very unlikely that Jeezy was gonna pay for the van outta his pocket, but he should at least assist the woman in getting whats rightfully hers if this is true.
Let me get yall hip to the game. Young Jeezy is probably not even aware of this. I mean some people do have good hearts but most of these entertainers just attach their name to something good for their own benefit. The woman even said it was apart of promoting his single. That's probably the only reason he did it and now his team aren't responding. The entertainment industry is full of frauds, liars etc.

They all be frontin like they got it, if he had it like that and NOT have JUST ADVANCE MONEY, then he should come out his pocket, but HE DON'T have it like that.

Like HE personally denied the kid a van. His name is tied into things like this for career advancement. She should come for his management. It's not like HE was going to dig into his pockets and buy the van personally. I'm sure there was an agreement with a dealership and possible tax write offs to make this possible. Jeezy just raps and I'm willing to bet he has no idea what's going on.
MTO in Jeezy's DEFENSE... I seriously doubt that Jeezy would do something like not honour a request such as this, Contest or No Contest. Jeezy is known for having a big heart, anyone who says any different, OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T KNOW HIM!!! MTO you should never have posted this story like you did, especially with the HEADLINE...Very misleading and defaming. If anyone should be suing anyone, it should be Jeezy suing MTO for slander. I'm sure that Jeezy isn't aware of the problem!!!
