It's hard to take seriously the moral outrage expressed by George and Regina Daniels over R. Kelly's relationship with Mr. Daniels' adult daughter, Maxine. The fact is that they had no problem with the relationship -- indeed, they encouraged it -- while Ms. Daniels was on Mr. Kelly's payroll.It was Regina Daniels, then working as a publicist for Mr. Kelly, who persuaded him to attend her step-daughter's 21st birthday party. And it was Regina Daniels who shortly thereafter gave her step-daughter Mr. Kelly's private phone number, with the admonition: 'Don't tell your father.' It was only after Ms. Daniels resigned her position to avoid being fired for incompetence that her stepdaughter's relationship suddenly became an issue for her and her husband.
This makes no sense. Her parents are just dumb as hell. Why would you force your daughter onto a married man. Kells has been married to his wife for a long *** time. I just don't get some people. If you ask me, the Daniel's family should be sued and not Kells. I don't condone what he did b/c he was married; but her parents need to get their *** together.
When are we as black people goint to realize that R. Kelly is a pathetic womanizer who hasn't had a good song since Bump & Grind. This lady's parents have got to be the most ignorant, pathetic people in the world to push their daughter on someone who is obviously married, a pedophile, and likes to participate in Golden Showers from time to time.

Strange as it may seem, I believe this story. Some parents will do the most unimaginable things at the cost of their children. Knowing R. Kelly's weakness is banging underage girls, this was probably like waving a porterhouse steak in front of a hungry rottweiler. Not this is excuses Kelly in anyway - he is a disgusting pig that needs to be put away once and for all, and we in the black community needs to stop supporting this guy. Why are people coming down on R. Kelly? The girl was 21 years old. But I think the problem that the family has is that R. watched this girl grow up, I mean they meant when she was 4 years old. There are plenty of other women for him to mess with. But if this story is true then the mother should have never brought this story in to the lime light in the first place. This should have been a family issue.

Everyone wants to attack the girl all for the love of R. Kelly, but if this is true, about her mom "asking" Kelly to date her, well, R. Kelly is a grown man. Can't he say NO? Was there a gun put to his head? Perhaps her dad twisted R. Kellys' arm? Not at all. He could have opted to say no. Instead, he went along with it. Also, let me inform you die-hard fans that I too am from Chicago, and I have SEEN Kells with my own two eyes trying to "holla" at teenage girls. My cousin was one of them. We were at the mall and he comes up to her and says, "Hey ***...so what HIGH SCHOOL you go to?" Right there he knew she was too young if he's asking her about high school. He goes on to give her his cell number. For fear of being on tv and in the news looking stupid, she opted not to call him. (me lecturing her behind on how dog assed he was for even approaching her in the first place may have had an impact on her as well) In conclusion, R. Kelly should know better. There are tons of women over the age of 18 he can sleep with. What's the fixation he has with girls under 18, I'll never understand.
Y'all killin me. Kells and his wife have been legally seperated for over 5 to 6 years. Just in case some of you didn't know the girl was 21, and he was paying for her college tuition. He and his wife have been separated for over 3 years and a divorce is eminent but probably won't happen until after the trial. His wife probably been fed up long ago and their marriage is over. The Daniels are fully aware of his reputation and Regina still encouraged this relationship. This should've been a private matter but the Daniels are out a substantial and steady paycheck so they want some vengeance. I guess Wyclef and Fantasia don't pay them nearly as good and they have to actually work now.

Regina's publicist services were never worth six figures and now she wants it? The Daniels were a fixture in Kelly's payroll for years and the free ride is over. I agree with MissMaiTai. We need to boycott his concerts and stop buying his music. Now the music he does with other artists yeah you cant control that, but his direct $$$. I'm saying this because Kelly needs to know that most of us still do have "morals" about ourselves. This post has nothing to do with the 21yo, but the other allegations that he is facing.
