We have absolutely no idea why Mario would sign up to be cast with those losers. What I like about Mario is that he is taking his time in the industry. Not gettin all stressed out about Billboard and what yall think, but building a lasting career in entertainment. When the rest of the 18 - 21 crew will be drawing from their quickly exhausting trust funds, Mario will still be out there taking his time, gettin paid in the industry.
kick rocks mto..dancing with the stars is a good look for his career. if people see him on it, they might go out & buy his cd, boosting sales. also, he'll get tons of publicity by appearing on morning shows and talk shows, and not to mention all the articles that will b written on the show. it's getting his name out there to a broader audience! good move mario! oh yea p.s. his new cd is like dat forreal.
ABC announced the celebrity lineup for next month's sixth cycle of Dancing With the Stars. The contestants will include: actress-model Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie, Love Actually); Steve Guttenberg; Priscilla Presley; radio jock-comedian Adam Carolloa; actress Marlee Matlin (Children of a Lesser God); tennis champ Monica Seles; illusionist Penn Jillette; R&B singer Mario; this year's NFL defensive player of the year, the Miami Dolphins' Jason Taylor; Tony Award-winner Marissa Jaret Winokur (Hairspray); Olympic gold medalist figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi; and Chilean actor Cristian de la Fuente (CSI: Miami). Dancing returns on March 17 at 9 p.m. for the first of a two-*** premiere. Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris will host and Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba will judge.

MTO need to check out some past so called losers from that show.Because Nick Lashay's brother who is a nobody was on the first season & winner & currently is the host for a dance show competion with Carrie Ann & that other dude . Joey Fatone also is now the the host of a new lyric show.And it is very good . Now Marie & brother Donnie both getting new life from the show & he wasn't even on it Now he is ahost on ENT. ***. SO IF ANYTHING IT WILL HELP HIM,NOT THAT HE NEEDS IT .
Mario is a really good artist who does not get his due. His music had really matured since 2002. I am one who listens to nothing but Soul R&B and I really anticipated his album release. DWTS will definitely open up a new market for his music and I feel it is a wise decision on the part of his management. There are a lot of wack artist his age that are putting garbage on the airwaves, and I give him props on taking his time with his music. It's always the obscure artist who are the best (Will Downing, Raheem Devaughn, Rachel Ferrell, etc.)
I've always thought "Dancing with the Stars" was for more seasoned people in the entertainment industry (in other words, "has beens"). However, if Mario is on the show, I'll probably watch. You never know -- he may have inked a deal with the network to attract a younger, hipper audience. If so, and he starts a new trend in those types of reality shows, then good for him! I love to see a person grow.
Let me use my brain (since MTO doesn't have one) and give ya'll a clue as to why my boy Mario would choose to do this. First of all it's called EXPOSURE! Think of all the people who will be watching that show that don't know who he is ... and he already has hit songs out there... Hello ... thats means more money!!! There will be more artists after him that will use that avenue to promote themselves... it's a hidden agenda... like the artists that get booked to perform for american idol... think about the viewers and it brings in more than just pocket change... MTO IS really stupid for trying to clown MARIO for this... I'd like to see the EDITOR of this website on that show... if he dares to show his face (if his *** can really dance anyway)... all he has to say is MEDIATAKEOUT.com... and the hits on this website would triple....
