: The Webbie scandal has taken another turn. MediaTakeOut.com just got official word that Webbie was double booked for an appearance in Charlotte North Carolina and Greensville, South Carolina last Friday. But according to his publicist the rapper intended to make both appearances. Who knows how he intended to do that.
MediaTakeOut.com also learned that Webbie's team is sticking with their "seizure" story. Here's the official word from Webbie's publicist:
On Friday, February 22 Webster Gradney aka Webbie traveled via train to Washington DC due to severe weather conditions in New York City. Webbie was traveling to Greenville, SC to do a radio show for Cox Radio. After boarding the plane in Washington, Webbie suffered a epileptic seizure. After landing in Atlanta, GA, he was transported to Dekalb Medical at Hillandale in Lithonia, GA.O.K. we're confused. If dude was on his way to South Carolina - how'd he end up in a hospital in Atlanta????After emergency treatment, he was hospitalized until late Saturday, February 23 for observation. Webbie has been on tour for the last 8 weeks, promoting his sophomore album Savage Life 2, which hits stores Tuesday, February 26.
"I would never play my fans like that or the people that support me," said Webbie. " This is bigger than money for me. I'm from the mud so this is all I have.Being on the road is no joke, sometimes it just catches up with you. I had to chill for a minute, but I'm back out here getting it. You just gotta keep movin'"
This story just keeps getting worse and worse...
I live in the South and have actually met Webbie....and Webbie (and Boosie) do a lot of shows!!! These boys have more shows than some of these so called platinum selling recording artists!! They are constantly on the road and that can wear down anybody!!
And just for the record I will gladly go to one of their concerts before I waste my money and my time going to see any of these other rappers!!

He's a *** phuckin lie. My 3 year old son is epileptic. I can't beleive he would stoop so low for some ***$hit he caused by overbooking. First of all, to have an epileptic seizure, you have to be diagnosed with epilepsy. One seizure does not qualify you as epileptic. Furthermore, Webbie, I hope your punk a$$ reads MTO cause aint nobody ever even heard of you having any previous seizures so this was not an epileptic seizure. Tell your publicist to do her/his research before they lie. Second after you have a Grand Mal seizure (the type most people go to the hospital for) you go into a posticktle state where you sleep for a long period of time (sometimes 6 hours) but it's not a day and a half.. ie. Friday til late Saturday. As soon as you wake up, you are discharged from the hospital and given instructions to see a specialist. If it's your first seizure, they give you a CAT scan, but you didn't mention that cause it didn't happen. Also, a seizure is an overage of electical currents or "firings" in your brain. It's the amount of electricity your brain is firing at one time. That is the cause of a seizure. There are things that "trigger" a seizure, but doing shows aint one of them. You came up with the lamest lie thinking people would beleive your a$$. Sorry you tripped and fell apon a smart chick who had to take your a$$ to school. You are lame and I will never buy your $hit. It's not like I ever did anyway. BTW.. @ deshandra..No offense but my son has all his teeth, but people with seizures do suffer injuries around the face and head.(sometimes)
One last thing, the treatment for seizures is valume (i hope I spelled that right). They only give it to you if you're activily seizing. Otherwise, they do not treat you with anything in the emergency room. Seizures only last between 2 and 5 minutes. That means he had to be right outside the hospital door when he went into the seizure in order to get emergency treatment. Ya'll can tell, that $hit *** me off!!!

@ sistajoy.. thanks alot @ msfoxxy ...all I can say is Reading is Fundamental. Unless you're a Neurologist, you don't know anything for a fact. Anyone can "fake" a seizure. It's the same as telling the Dr you're in pain. Nobody knows for sure until the patients brain wave activity has been tested. That will tell weather you are prone to seizures. Trust me. I am also a Paramedic. As far as the simple minded 8itch goes. Well the only simple mind is the uneducated mind. You obviously are under educated.
