: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Beyonce Knowles, Ali Larter and Idris Elba will star in the new film "Obsessed," a thriller that is set to go into production this summer.
The movie will be directed by Steve Shill and executive produced by Beyonce and Mathew Knowles.
This one's got straight-to-dvd written all over it...
Good, now everyone who's fooled by the smoke and mirrors that is Beyonce, will see the no-talent, daddy's little diva, that she really is. I agree that Matthew does not run Hollywood. Not by a long ***. but Meagan goode is a much better actress than Beyonce. and Meagan is not that good. Beyonce is a terrible actress. she got the role by putting up money to make the film. that is what executive producers do. they may have input on creativity and direction, but for the most part, any producer who has no experience in Producing film, is just putting up loot. with enough loot she can do what she wants.
She should try to give the part to trained black thespians who would make the movie role believable.

I played high school basketball but I knew that I would not get a scholarship, try as I might. I was not that good of a player.
why should we have to either watch movies with black stars that have terrible skills or not watch at all.

my point is: why not give a person who is trained to act the chance to advance their carrer as well as well as make the movie experience better for all watching. and as the exec producer she will still get her money.

Black actors should all start doing this - Beyonce, Denzel definitely does it, etc. There are tons of movies to be made but black directors can't get the budget that white directors and actors get. Again, you can't hit it out the park all the time. For example, that second album wasn't in the same playing field as the first. So instead of being humble, and working on something better, I felt like they (her camp) was going to FORCE us to like it, and buy it. They kept that damned album alive for another whole year with special editions, spanish editions, video editions, world tour editions. It's like they couldn't accept that it JUST WASN'T THAT GOOD.
Slow/Bad album sales=it wasn't that good.

As mentioned, this movie will probably be straight to DVD. Will is the number 1 box office draw. When the last time his movies went straight to video or DVD? Never.

You know how Hollywood is, they take one black person and use them instead of hiring more black people for roles in movies who can really act. There is a movie with Robert Downey Jr. coming out and he is portraying a black man, instead of hiring a black man for the role, they color Robert's face so he looks black. Well, I googled the movie and read up on it. She's not even going to be a main character, she's just his wife in the movie. He and the lady stalking him will mainly be in the movie.
I'm waiting to see it. I think it will be good. Everybody thought Martin's "Thin Line Between Love and Hate" would crash, but it didn't.
I wish she was playing the stalker though, and not the good girl. Playing the stalker would probably challenge her more.
