Dang that really touched my heart!! I can relate to what he is going through b/c I did the exact same thing with my father and he died the very next day also. I live with that regret everyday. Eddie should just keep his head up and in time it will get a little easier. He should also just find comfort in knowing he was a great father and not a bad one!!

The one thing Eddie Levert should remember is that his son died KNOWING his father loved him. Life is not promised to anyone and he (Eddie) went thru life letting his son know everyday how he felt about him. I hope he finds comfort in knowing that and does not beat himself up over not calling him. Fans of both father and son feel for the family.

Such a major lost to the music industry ... My heart goes out to Eddie and the Leveret family. At least, they both had the opportunity to embrace and tour together in the motherland ... love has no limits and the love Eddie and Gerald shared will last forever in words and song. Gerald R.I.P. my brother and Eddie keep your head to the sky! We will all get to Gerald's resting place.

THE ARTICLE BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES..RIP GERALD, I DO KNOW BELIEVE HIS FATHER WILL EVER GET OVER THIS. HE SOUNDS SO HURT. GOD BLESS HIM, MAYBE THIS NEW CD WILL GO PLATIUM LIKE GERALD LEVERT ALWAYS WISH FOR.

It will probably go Platinum just like Luther's did when he had the stroke. Too bad the good artists can't be supported while they're alive. I don't blame Gerald for thinking the way he did. He didn't seem to be appreciated like he should've been. I guess he wasn't nasty or foul enough. Mourning is hard but I'm quite sure he knew his father loved him dearly.
