I am a huge fan of your site and all though you are known for using your site for celebrity gossip, you also use it for good. I want to expose something about Jessica Simpson.Jessica Simpson .... you are a disgraceI am [Department Of Defense] civilian here in Kuwait working at the camp that held the OPERATION MYSPACE tour which was a charity event. She was the only act that was paid. Jessica insisted that they pay here approximately $150,000 [plus] $10,000 a day for Ken Paves and $6,000 a day for her stylist and make up artist.
When she arrived on the air field she had a pre-order that no one was allowed to come up to her and touch her she was looking very stuck up and snobby. When she came in the dining facility she only served the food for the troops for 5 minutes.
Her concert was last and everyone pretty much left before then. The Pussycat Dolls and the rock group Disturbed were so nice they were literally walking around with the troops without there body guards.
The reason why this is such a big deal and why I am so pissed off is that mostly 90% of these troops at this camp are all processing to go up north and [for many of those soldiers] this is probably there last night and week on earth. How she had the audacity to charge - never in the history of the USO or any other charity organization or biggest stars such as Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Josephine Baker, etc... who have come before her who are bigger stars then she will ever be and paid patronage to these brave soldiers who some will pay the ultimate price with their lives for our freedom, got paid to do this.
I am tired of celebrities trying to take advantage of our troops and use it for there own exposure at a cost. Please expose Jessica for the real fake person she is. She definitely needs a reality check. I guess the great ratings of " Blonde Ambition", should tell her where she stands as an A-Lister.

Juice You are just as stupid! It is the principle. If you pay for a service, you expect that service. If you go to a concert you expect a good show and if the artist act like they don't want to be there, you would feel some kind of disservice. It is the same thing. If she did not want to be there, they could have gave that money to someone else that did. Preferably someone that appreciate the work that they are doing over there.
ok here's the thing...we may not agree with why the war started but it is what it is..as the spouse of a soldier I hate hearing people personally blame the troops for going to Iraq to do the job that they are required to do. It is not like they can just walk in to work one day a say "Yeah, I think I quit" Anyway the problem I have with Ms. Simpson is that she will be the first to claim how patriotic she is and that she performed for the troops in Iraq and everyone will be talking about how great that is when it is all about the dollar. I'm not surprised. She did the same thing when she was in Louisiana when filming Dukes of hazard. Anyway one of my co-workers brother was working on the set and they gave her a tennis bracelet at the end of filming the movie. Anyway when she left the trailer they said that she left the bracelet in the trailer on purpose. Then before that she was going out and the little kids would ask her for an autograph but instead she didnt say anything and left the kids hanging. It was so bad that they had to get an Ashley Simpson impersonator to sign autographs because Jessica Simpson didnt want to talk to "Rednecks". its pretty upsetting to see people blaming the troops for their presence in Iraq...I'm in service too and it is not like we have a choice to change our minds...after joining i realized that i think it should be mandatory for EVERYBODY to serve 2 years in the military just likes it Mandatory in China and North Korea, then maybe ya'll would learn to appreciate what people like myself, Haitiandude84, and rashad2200 are doing. It is so easy for you to disclaim us and blame everything that is going wrong on the Military, we don't asked to be put in these positions but we know its our job and we do what we're suppose to do, and ya know what being the the Military doesn't automatically make you a baller, you have to work hard and depending on what branch you're in have your BA just to keep moving up the ladder. I would much rather be in the military then running around these streets. Ya'll make heroes of men who are about nothing, but there are people who are walking around you everyday brave enough to serve their country. So don't knock us for doing what we're doing because half of ya'll wouldn't do it your *** selves.

I am in the Air Force stationed in Japan and we can barely get artists to visit here let alone Iraq. If its not GREED its FEAR!!!
