I was listening to a local Tampa sports radio station this morning and they have a mixed hosting crew...Ron Diaz and Ian Beckles (former Tampa Bay Bucs player). There was an old-timers or sports hall of fame event that they hosted honoring an old time player from the Negro Leagues."Mud Cat" Grant who was a great Negro League player was telling a story about how it was to be a baseball player in the old Jim Crow days and apparently, your boy Zachary Ty Bryan form Home Improvement was there and he was liquored up.
He stood up in the middle of the man's speech and yells out that he "doesn't want to hear any of that N*gger stuff". He was subdued by security and escorted out but he almost caught a beat down. SO far there has been no comment from Bryan's camp or publicist.
EDITOR'S UPDATE - Mudcat Grant called in the radio station yesterday to clear thing sup. According to Mudcat, Zachary Ty Bryan never actually used the 'N Word."
He was in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. His part in that movie was like 3 minutes long. If you are in a movie with Bow Wow and you don't have more screen time than Bow Wow, you suck and the movie sucks.

Sorry, I say ***.i.g.g.a., ***.e.g.r.o., and ***.i.g.g.a.z and I am an educated black female, with a very healthy income, home owner (twice over), and married to a black man at the same knowledge and income level as my own.
It doesn't make me less of a person to use these words, because I don't use them in a deragatory way. I grew up in a hood where white people used it also...because we all grew up together, in a sense we were an extended family. Call it ignorance or stupidity. I don't don't care this is me being me and that is you being you.
Society made it a bad word not me, I use it as a term of endearment...don't like it don't answer to it!!! A word is a word, the only harm it can do is how you use it. Quit letting people dictate to you what words are the right words to use in your world.
