: MediaTakeOut.com just caught wind that there's a new report circulating that says that the entire Jackson clan (minus a couple) are broke. According to the NY Post, here is the financial situation of the Jackson's:
Joseph Jackson, 79 and Katherine Jackson, 77 Dad hustles various girl groups in Las Vegas. Mom is still a stay-at-home housewife and the only family member in contact with Michael. Both have previously filed for bankruptcy Janet Jackson, 41 The current family breadwinner. She bought her mom a Vegas home in anticipation of losing the family's mansion, Hayvenhurst, to foreclosure. Like their Neverland colleagues, workers at Hayvenhurst have not been paid for months.La Toya Jackson, 52 Family turncoat who declared Michael guilty during the 1993 molestation case, she earns a living mostly in Europe and in the UAE judging beauty and singing contests. She lives with a wealthy boyfriend in Beverly Hills and has little contact with her siblings.
Rebbie Jackson, 57 The oldest, she's married to successful businessman Nathaniel Brown.
Tito Jackson, 55 Formed a blues band several years ago and plays at small venues for $500 to $1,500 a gig.

NOT True! Jackie has a record company called Jesco Records. Marlon is the founder and Executive Board Member in a Black Family Channel called MBC Network, he also is the CEO of Valbritmar Entertainment. The other brothers have things there doing as well. They are not broke. Michael may be the only one that is in trouble. You really can't believe what you hear. Plus there kids are doing things also.

I read where Michael kept refinancing Hayvenhurst and that will leave you with a mortgage. Just because it appears these celebs have money doesn't mean they're not in debt. If he had so much money why was Neverland almost lost in the first place? From all accounts, he never learned how to manage his money and spends like crazy.

I just find it hard to believe all that money Michael made off Thriller alone, that he's broke. But it can be done cause many stars who made lots of money did mess up. I'd have so much respect for the Jacksons if they went into family therapy with their parents and got it together. As children, they were beaten if they didn't practice after school; toured in adult clubs at a young age. Those boys saw and experienced things that no child should have. Joe Jackson, their father, was having *** with their girlfriends and any groupie who came up to their hotel rooms. And you wonder why Michael doesn't contact his siblings.
Therapy can change all of this but they must first acknowledge it and then do it. I can't see Joe going with them because he's in denial about his parenting skills anyway. Katherine may not do it either. She's tolerated so much from Joe.
