: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that a Georgia woman has been placed under arrest for allowing a 20-year-old man to have consensual sex with her 14-year-old daughter.
Both the girl's mother and the boyfriend, Lucio Gomez-Gonzalez, are in jail without bond. Lucio is charged with statutory rape and the mother, Rosa Benavides-Arellano, 42, is charged with being a party to statutory rape.
According to a police report, Lucio had sex with — and impregnated — the 14-year-old while both were staying at her mother's home.
A case worker with the Division of Family and Children Services reportedly met with the girl's mother after someone from the teen's school found out she was two months pregnant. The mom reportedly told officials that Lucio had been living in her home for about a month.
According to the police report, the mother was aware that Lucio was having sex with her daughter. And MediaTakeOut.com has learned that she told police the 20 year old was, "living with them because he wanted to provide for the 14-year-old and the unborn baby."
While neither the mother, nor the 14 year old daughter wanted Lucio to be arrested, police nonetheless moved in last week and took him into custody. "The age of consent in Georgia is 16", said Lawrenceville Police Capt. Greg Vaughn. "For someone older than 16 to have sex with someone younger than 16 is illegal ... At 14 years old, it doesn't matter if her parents give consent. That's the law," Vaughn said.
Lucio faces a felony statutory rape charge and would be forced to register as a sex offender if convicted.
All states have an "age of consent" law-not just the south. When will some people get it- it doesn't matter if the underage person wants to have ***-they are too young by law to do so. It's like having the right to vote or to drive-if you are too young, you can't do it according to the law. All people should know the age of consent in their state-maybe they would think twice before having *** with a minor.
The mother had to know when she was bringing a 20 year old in her house that he was going to be hitting on the daughter, and what mother in her right mind, having a teenage daughter would date a 20 year old. He was probably after the daughter from the beginning. Boyfiend was probably loved this situation.

That is how low life degenerates behave and I'm going to take a gamble here and say that low life degenerates come from all walks of life. Most likely, this "mother" is suffering from a mental illness as well. I'll put money on it and say the "mother" was probably abused as a child herself. Ok first of all I want to start by saying that I suspect many of you who are leaving comments saying that the "man and the mother should rot in jail", are being extremely hypocritical. When Aaliyah and Pretty Ricky came out with similar versions of the song "Age Ain't Nothing But a Number" many of you were probably singing it at the top of your lungs.
Also many of us (myself included) have consented to a brother, cousin, uncle, or friend who have dated or may still be dating someone who is not of legal age. Don't forget that fast tail *** sister, cousin, niece, or friend that we all have and know that regardless of her or the man's age she's going to do what she wants to do because SHE thinks she's grown.
And yeah I know the man is supposed to have more sense than that, but it appears to me that the man had some feelings for the girl if he was staying there and taking care of her ((not only sexually)).
Maybe I feel this way because I started dating my fiancé when I was only 16 and he was 21, now I'm 20 and he's 25 and we're very much in love. He was and still is the man of my dreams and provides me with everything and then some.
So yeah I do feel bad that the man is going to prison for consensual *** and that the child is going to grow up fatherless.

What is a grown man doing with a teenager? What kind of loving mother allows this to happen? When I traveling overseas, I met a lady who was letting her 16 year old daughter date a guy in the military who was in his early 20's. Dude was spending the *** at their house. I went to school with girls who had mothers that just didn't give a d@mn. One girl's mother let her have boyfriends over that slept in the same bed with her since she was 9...that's also the age she lost her virginity.
Another girl's mother tried to party and be her daughter's friend. That girl got preggy at 14 and dropped outta school. Now at 23, she has (((5))) daughters...all more than likely doomed to repeat the cycle.

I might of not put it in the same words of KEKO1720, but I have heard of traditional hispanics encouraging their kids to get married young...like in their very early 20's b/c they value family and their daughters being married so much. I had a Mexican friend who had a sister who was 27. Their mom came str8 outta Mexico and is very traditional. She told me that her mother was pressuring her older sister to get married already b/c she was getting old. LOL I was like, "wooooow". LOL
