@alexussexy, yes I am Black and I think you took what I was saying out of context...I was speaking of women in their positions: video girls, Flav of Luv contestants, aspiring models...that are looking for a way up in the entertainment business who THINK that using their assets will make them successful at whatever they choose to do.
Yes, I can name plenty of women as well. That's common sense. We can start with me for one. I'm a college graduate and I'm published. And I aspire to do bigger and better things. But, as I typed I was in the mindset of Deelishis, Lola, Buffy, Superhead, etc...who shows their ***, make a little money and wanna act brand new, as if they're on some Oprah status and sh*t!!! Wanting ppl to suddenly forget HOW they obtained what they have. While the struggling college chick who is just as fine and just as sexy took the long hall and prayed her way thru school...thru WHATEVER!!! But, kept dignity in tack.
I'm saying...why couldn't Deelishis start a clothing line BEFORE she went on Flav of Luv, BEFORE all the mags, ***-***. That's where I was going in my response.
I'm a spiritual being and God-fearing and I put God first in EVERYTHING I do. So, don't EVER call me ignorant again b/c I'm far from it. You were the IGNORANT one to call me out b4 waiting for me to clarify. THAT'S IGNORANT!!! And I don't NEED your prayer. God has got this chick's back. BELIEVE THAT ;-)
As a matter of fact, I do have homework to do, but I for *** sure ain't wasting my time googling "successful" black women when I'm already one. Oprah was NEVER fine or cute enough to be in somebody's magazine. But, if I wanted to, I could. That's where CHOICES come in and RESTRAINT. I CHOOSE the OTHER route. I'm CLAIMING mines. Good day.
