: MediaTakeOut.com just got word that Danity Kane tried to pull a fast one on their fans in Phoenix, Arizona. According to our good friends over at Phoenix's top radio station 101.5 FM, the girls cancelled a concert so they could get twisted out in Vegas.
Here's what the folk over at 101.5 are saying:
After WEEKS of promotion and THOUSANDS of fans in the Phoenix Metropolitan area rearranging their schedules to attend 101.5 Jamz "Free Fun In The Sun Concert" with Danity Kane (scheduled for Friday March 28th) the girls backed out of the event sighting "illness.You know Diddy's gonna spazz out when he hears about this...Artists get sick all the time while on a promo tour and are forced to cancel gigs and appearances- take Janet Jackson’s recent Saturday Night Live performance for example. She got sick and couldn’t perform- it happens.
Something about these lightweight divas and their last minute cancellation wasn’t sitting right with me but I gave them the benefit of the doubt... until...
Tuesday, March 26th: San Francisco, California Video of Danity Kane partying in a limo with a friend of ours who did confirm that one member (Shannon) wasn’t feeling well:
Wednesday, March 27th: Los Angeles, California Danity Kane fly to L.A. to make several radio station appearances
Thursday, March 28th: Late Afternoon Bad Boy/Atlanic Records representative makes phone call to 101.5 Jamz Program Director informing him that Danity Kane will not be able to make their concert in Tempe, Arizona because they are sick and are canceling all future appearances/shows...
Thursday, March 28th: Night, Los Angeles, California Album release party at Oprah & Crimson Nightclub in Hollywood
Friday, March 29th: Las Vegas, Nevada Rather then perform for their Phoenix fans for free, all 5 Danity Kane girls went to Vegas, partied, danced and drank on stage at ANOTHER record release party; this time at the nightclub called Bank inside The Bellagio
I would LOVE to be able to call in sick to work one day, cancel several commitments and then show up all over the internet partying in Vegas & L.A. with no repercussions! What a charmed life these girls are living...
What you do with your money is your own business...so if you feel comfortable supporting someone who doesn’t hesitate to blow you off for a better time, be my guest. I prefer to stand up for myself and my new home, Phoenix, and call foul when I see a violation.... sht just isn’t right, and I’m not one to walked over... I banned all Danity Kane records on MY show indefinitely... it will take a HUGE effort on their part to redeem themselves in my eyes...I will not let The Valley get punked!

B. Ever been to Phoenix?! Ever been to Vegas? If you answered no to either question, then you don't get it. I would have skipped that ish too.
C. Its Danity Kane! Not like you missed a real concert like Prince or New Edition. Just don't book them again. DK will be calling them in 6 months when Diddy takes all their money again.

I agree! I thought the red was hot on her. Now she looks average and doesn't stand out, BUT, she is the best dancer.
Some of yall keep dissin these girls like they are nothing, but apparently they are..they took the #1 spot on Billboard. They have a fanbase, adn they have people that actually purchased their cd and will attend their concerts. Quit downgrading them just because they are reality girls..they doin the *** thing and they all look good and they are talented!
