: MediaTakeout.com has learned that rapper MC Breed has been arrested in his native Michigan for failing to pay $220,000 in child support.
The rapper, who was made famous for his song Ain't No Future In Yo' Frontin' was taken into police custody on Thursdayafter authorities were tipped off about his appearance at local Flint record store Music Planet for a signing that afternoon.
MC Breed, whose real name is Eric T. Breed, was apprehended at around 4pm as he and his entourage were leaving the store.
Breed, 36, is accused of missing the last three years of support payments, and recently served eight months behind bars for unpaid child maintenance costs. His failure to pay on that occasion was deemed a violation of the terms of his parole for a previous crime.
The arrest came as a shock for his manager Darryl Morris, who was unaware of Breed's current money issues.
He says, "He's not trying to dodge anything or avoid anything. To us it was a surprise, but I'm not sure it was for [Breed]."
As a result of his arrest, MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Breed had to cancel a gig supporting Lil Wayne at the Perani Arena in Flint on Thursday night, and he is due in court on Friday
He used to live here in Atlanta and I am sooooo tired of brothers making excuses for their counterparts when they don't own up to their responsibility. You all always look at the stars, athletes and performers and what they go through with their baby mama's but what about the children whose mother's are just barely getting by? This man has been in jail THREE times on not paying child support but you want to always blame the man. You can roll our here with enough jewelry on to give you whip lash but your child clothes are too little or they're eating tuna fish four days out of the week. Come on now black men.....when are you going to step up and take your place as leaders of our people and stop hiding behind THE MAN when you not handling YOUR business proper? Y'all can stand outside a store and wait for 6 hours for the New Jordans but you can't pay day care so your childs mother can go to work and basically handle the rest. Come on brothers.....stop blaming everyone but yourself. Most of all....stop spreading your seeds everywhere....you have five baby mama's but they are wrong because they want you to help them raise your child.
These rappers and stars of the past, i.e., Shaun Levert, need to go back to court and amend their child support orders. Because they're not making the money that they were when the support order was drawn up. So they get behind in payments, because they often leave it up to attorneys that don't give a ***. So if they changed the amount of the support order to match what they make now, as opposed to what they made then, they would be alright.
Caramel Prinze, that's another subject...it's called invest your money wisely and stop blowing it on the bling and Bentley Coupes and Flying Spurs. At the same time, I do agree that if you aren't making as much as before to amend your child support but dayum pay SOMETHING!!!! A lot of times the brothers won't pay anything. And wait before everyone jumps on me....I know of some dead beat sisters too who don't pay their child support and have been locked up. It's like tjtrae1 said...stop making babies that we can't or won't support.

@ Rarestgem you are l00% correct. I dont understand it either. These dudes whine and cry about their child support being too high. All it takes is hiring an attorney....Or even going in pro se and taking care of it yourself. Probate courts usually have a "Lawyer of the day" here that assist people in drafting basic *** to either get or amend child support orders and other things free of charge. There is just no excuse to let things go for 3 years like that! I hope he gets it together for his kids.

Don't know all the MC Breed particulars but I can guess that his money isn't as long as it once was so I agree he should adjust the payments accordingly to his current income.
Levert died in jail(or at the hospital depending on what story you have heard) because he fell behind in child support payments. Guyz remember to strap up if you don't want a kid by the groupie, skeezer, jump off or even a str8 up decent woman.

Just because the mother of your child wants support does not mean she is a freaking gold digger most of these men (some women) would not survive if they had to take of thier kids on their own...single parents deserve support. Put yourself in the child's place and ask yourself how would you feel if your daddy was rich but was doing everything in his power not to help your mom? U would probably feel really bad and wonder what is wrong with you and why your daddy doesn't love you. My kids know that I am the one that makes it happen and not to depend on shi+ from their daddy...not because I told them but because they are not stupid, eventually they figure out who is holding it down for them! ***+ all the dead beats of the world, it's their loss

if a man chooses not to support his kids, then i feel he needs not to see them. I hate when these mothers chase these *** down for some change to support their child. I see this same thing on Maury everyday. Women are losing respect for themselves and letting men just do them any ol kind of way.
Single mothers can raise a child with no problem. I know PLENTY of single mothers who are making it one their own. Times have changed. Women have more rights more freedom better education and MONEY NOW!...no need to depend on a *** for ***...
