: MediaTakeOut.com has to let you in on one of our guilty pleasures ... it's called The Real Housewives Of New York. If you've never seen it before - it's off the chains. Last night they had their finale (which was a little but of a letdown but still good). And for you fans out there, just wanna let you know that it's just been picked up for a second season.
Here's our take on the cast members:
Jill - Ole girl is our favorite. Not only does she have a Black best friend, but she seems to be down to earth and has the happiest marriage. Even though she apparently stole him from his fist wife.And don't even let us get started on last night's episode. Did you see what little Francois did to Bethany's boyfriend's burger???? And he's supposed to be a genius ..... LMAO!!!LuAnn (AKA The Countess) - She's some model chick that got married to some rich French Count. Even though this chick is dude's 4th wife - she swears up and down that she's something special.
Alex and her husband Simon - These two are the biggest wannabe's ever. They try so hard to fit in with the New York society set - but they live in some rundown house in Brooklyn. They always talk about how they speak French and vacation in Europe to make it seem like they have class. Somebody needs to tell them that this is America ... it ain't about class ... it's about THAT GWOP
Ramona - This bleached blonde floozy seems like she has some mental problems. Remember how she flipped out on Simon at that dinner party. HEL-LOOOO can you get this chick some meds.
Bethenny - She's the youngest and probably the .most fun of all the chicks. The trouble is she keeps on trying to get her rich boyfriend to either knock her up or wife her. It's hilarious watching all the evasive maneuvers that dude pulls.
Ramona is a bad mother, she acts way more childish then her 13 year old daughter. Also what kind of parent would try to force a career in Hollywood upon a child who wants to focus on her education????
Alex and Simon need to learn how to discipline their sons and teach them some class about how to act in public. Francois was funny though when he told the dude giving him the intelligence test "I'm smarter than you." Alex looks like she is about 50 years old and maybe needs to ask Ramona about her facial tightening creams for that horse face of hers
I like the both last and this season but I will say this orange county housewives are stuck on themselves and new yorks housewives are more real. I will say this, Bethanny is going to have a few more problems with Jason next season, Alex and Simon needs to control their kids and stop trying to impress everybody, Romona is crazy and she didn't have to flip out on Simon the way she did but she was right about him being at a girls *** out dinner, Can't wait til next season.
Bethanny... Looove her. Very witty! Jill... pretty down to earth and she tells it like it is but yet very likable. LuAnn... I liked her up until the driver introduction episode. Ramona... That woman has MAJOR issues! Alex... Poor thing needs therapy... She's delusional!
Can't wait for the reunion show where it seems like Jill checks Ramona about her attitude! I like this show but bring back my OC girls!
I'm a New Yorker and I've been riding with this show from the beginning. Never could get down with that Orange County BS. Love Jill, she's the coolest one. Bethanny is a real chick, very cool. Ramona is hott in the behind and off her axis, get her some stabilizing medication. LuAnn is spoiled, but not obnoxious, and Alex is just a pitiful wannabe chick from Kansas married to a man who obviously doesn't know he's ***, and they're both pretending to be these cultured worldly people. Glad the show got picked up for a second season.
I thought i was the black person to watch this but it is a fun show.
I like LuAnn - she shows class and handles herself well in different situations.
Jill- Luv her she is down to earth and probably alot of fun.
Bethanny- She is also good to go I hope her boyfriend marries her because she seems nice. Glad she didnt leave him because per NY Post he is suing the company he worked for because they fired him for being on the show he about to be even more paid.
Alex & Simon - 2 of the weirdest people that can grow on you. They really seem nice at heart for 2 social climbing fools the way they fit in when they get on the scene you would never know the pressure they going thru to get there but the funny sh*t is their house a mess they live in Cobblestone but it look more like East New York it is tore up from the floor up literally. and Francois that little pain in the @ss they swear to God he is gifted searched high and low for the best school to send him to he needs to go to Pacific. ( Alternative school in downtown BK)
Ramona- like Eddie Griffin said in Double Take "Whaaat is up with your eye?" She looks like she had a stroke or some bad surgery but things do look good and her daughter is sick to death of her. (Did anybody see her dancing on that episode? YT. Gotta love em
WHILE I THINK RAMONA IS A LITTLE OFF, I DON'T BLAME HER FOR GETTING MAD WHEN SIMON SHOWED UP FOR THE "GIRLS *** OUT", THE OPERATIVE WORD BEING GIRLS ONLY. I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS WEIRD THAT SIMON WOULD EVEN WANT TO BE AROUND A BUNCH OR WOMEN, I THINK THERE IS SOME SUGAR IN HIS TANK, HE PICKS OUT HIS WIFES CLOTHES, LMAO.
I watched it and I love the NY housewives way better than the California ones. THe NY housewives are more relatable. I like Jill she is off the chain and she is real. That *** Bethany needs to get a life and stopped being pressed for a man. Ramona is jealous and evil winch. Alex is so *** codependent its not even funny. All that money that her and Simon are spendingon clothes, opera tickets and trips to st. barts they could spend on fixing up that shack million dollar house they have. Those lil boys are bad as hell. When Francois started sticking his action figure in that dudes $30 hamburger I was too through lol....I like Luann her home is sharp that black and white off the chain only thing I hope she is aware that her hubby is dipping and dabbing on her.
jill is the spitting image of joy behar from the view. this season turned out to be so-so. no offense, new yorkers, but even the so-called high class ones just have this rough edge (ie Ramona). and im not impressed with these apartments and townhomes! these ppl are supposed to be rich or at least well off yet their homes are so small! and the neighborhoods dont even look that good. maybe it's an east coast thing. oh yeah, they aint got nuthin on orange county!
I like the orange county housewives better
they looked better (except for the fake boobs)
and plus i hate the real estate in New York
I cant believe that you can spend 1-3 million on a home that looks like an old azz apartment
New Yorkers dont know that the rest of the country laughs at the high price of real estate in that crouded azz city

The rest of the world is laughing at New York real estate??? I guess that's why the rest of the world overcrowds New York and the housewives takes it to their houses in the Hamptons. My girlfriend who lives in Texas does get waaaay more space for her money, BUT she still had to get on a plane and pay for a hotel to see "The Color Purple". New Yorkers do have the best here. It's a fact! This show has more real women on it. Orange County women were all plastic and fake.
LOL@Chelly04..Something is not right about Simon!!I loved this show too!! It was crazy last ***, Bethanny and Ramona both made me laugh, with their crazy selves! They both remind me of Vicki from The Real Wives Of Orange County. Jill is my favorite. Cant wait until next season. The wives of Orange County should be coming on soon with new shows. Now its time to watch Work Out with Jackie Warner!
I thought I was the only one who watched? I can't stand Simon and his wife. They seemed to be attached at the hip and always lovey, dovey, ***. Showing affection, love and kisses is one thing but their syrupy, "I love you, I love you more", makes me throu up in my own mouth. I like Jill and the Countess the best. I like the fact the countess had her son take street dance lessons. Can't stand Ramona. She is always dressing age inappropriate and can't dance for ***.
YEAH, THIS SHOW IS THE ***......I WAS DYING LAUGHING LAST *** WHEN BETHANY TOLD JILL SHE WAS GOING TO PUT THAT SKEWER IN HER EYEBALL IF SHE SAID ANOTHER WORD. I DAYUM NEAR FELL OFF THE COUCH......BETHANY BY FAR IS MY FAVORITE. SHE KEEPS IT REAL...... DIDNT APPRECIATE HER DADDYS FRIEND CALLING THAT DUDE "BLACK MIKE" OR WHATEVER HIS NAME WAS. SHE WAS LIKE HI BLACK MIKE.....I'M WHITE BETHANY...HILARIOUS....
I loved this show! I really liked Bethanny, i could hang w/ her.
LuAnn was cool until she wanted to be called Mrs. Dellesepp, she should get over herself.
I like Ramonna because she is a crackhead.

I love the Ny show because just like most of you said they are REAL and the women on this season seem more INDEPENDENT AND INTELLIGENT.
Favorite-Jill, people person, give good advice, fun to hang with and one of her closest friend is black. lol
2nd Favorite Bethany- real, she had me rolling when she was talking about Simon and his wife apartment. I understand her about having a baby soon, *** her clock is ticking.
3rd Favorite- Ramona- alot people may not like her but she one of the highlights of the show. You never know whats going to come out her mouth. I like her she is FUN, OUTSPOKEN, SHE DON'T HOLD NOTHING BACK. She was keeping it real about there being a girl *** out and the Simon kid being rude lol. Her husband is hot!
then Luanne- shes all right HOWEVER she fail off with me, when her kids wanted her to stay home and even the nanny was like I wish her and her Husband would spend MORE time with the kids. Then her kids getting LICE, OH HELL NAW! Then she was telling Bethany how her driver should say her name, what the HELL!
yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!!!! I love it too, I'll have to agree wit you mto I also love Jill, but my fevorite is Bethanny she's the most down to earth and funny as hell and I can't stand Ramona but I'm not mad at her for goin off on Simon at the "girls nite out" because that couple is truly ridiculous if his wife couldn't go to girls nite by herself they both should have stayed home, he stuck out like a soar thumb.
@samdesigns yes I did notice the blatant racism at the track, but did you also notice how the same guy bought Bethanny lingerie and he wasn't even her man I think somethings truly wrong with he's weied.
Oh yea I completely forgot to mention I think Simon and Alex are straight fakes because if they're supposed to have "so much" money why are Alex's teeth messed up *** her hair always looks so crappy, and also they are so loose why were they on the beach with hardly any clothes on Alex had on a thong and Simon had on some little briefs.
I like the Orange County show better...I started watching the New York episodes but when I saw the preview that the wack countess was telling Bethany that she should always say countess instead of her first name when introducing her to "the help" i was like oh heck no i will not watch this show again. but i tivoed the finally! I was cracking up at the kids and their behavior they have NO MANNERS and they need to focus on their children's manners before the focus on testing them for possible genius! I was in awe that they did not even discipline their children! It was a trip!!!! As a couple they are corny they need to have their own time! I like Jill she does seem down to earth and I wasn't even mad at her putting her daughter to work..way to let them know they have to work for a silver spoon they just can't go to the drawer and get it! Ramona needs meds quick she was the worst ever! i am not mad at Bethany at all because you have to get some kind of commitment before you buy a million dollar apartment with your man that you have only been together with for 8 months!! if i forgot someone it's cause they were insignificant.

You don't run MTO sweetie, so therefore, you have no say in what ppl post...If I wanted to post I'm sitting down *** naked eating some chocolate ice cream, then that's my perogative, but you are not entitled to tell folks what they can and can't say! Got it?! Good. Just had to get that out!
