: It seems like 50 Cent is looking to make even more enemies. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that in a recent interview, 50 started talking sideways about our girl Alicia Keys. Here are some of the highlights of the interview:

Even though Alicia didn't say any names she is speaking about GANGSTA RAP and that is the category that 50 cents falls under. My issue with FIDDY is he handle this the wrong way, him saying because you don't like my music I don't like you now. Come on FIDDY lets be MATURE about this. However I understand where he is coming from about that street mentality is what he grew up on and course you going to speak about that in your music. When it comes to "Gangsta rap" 50 Cent doesn't play around.
He's not happy about comments Alicia Keys was quoted as making in a recent interview with Blender, even though the R&B songstress later said the quotes were "misrepresented" by the magazine.
"'Gangsta rap' was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other," Keys was quoted as saying. "'Gangsta rap' didn't exist."
According to the Associated Press, Keys issued a statement later saying that her comments were "misrepresented" and that she isn't a "conspiracy theorist" or "a racist."
"We stand by our story," Blender spokeswoman Kate Cafaro told The Associated Press on Tuesday.
Regardless of Keys' explanation, 50 Cent wasn't too thrilled with the comment.
"I don't like Alicia Keys no more though … the same reason why I said that I don't like Oprah Winfrey," 50 Cent toldThe Showbuzz. "I'm prejudice(d). I don't like people who don't like me. If you don't like the content that I write because of my experiences; I am being who I am when I am writing it. I fall into that 'label' as far as you considering artists creating 'Gangsta music,' we fall into that.
"If she don't like that, (then) I don't like that classical music s--- she be doing. At some point she's playing some s--- that don't relate to me. … We listen to it and try to figure out why people actually enjoy it. I am trying to enjoy it. The people on this post need to look at the full picture. This music has been the demise of our communites and still is. Everyday, I turn on the news, another young child is murdered. These are our babies, you have to balme it on many things,and one of the main things is the music today. It is almost no positivity in what these artists put out. I am around kids from 8-5:15, I am basically raising them and I listen to what they are doing, imitating what they hear on the radio, ***, having ***, and many times you can't get through to them, because they think that lifestyle is fun. I miss the days when rappers were conscious of what they put out, feel good music. We all are black and come from the struggle, me myself came from the worst neighborhoods, places you would not want to step foot, but I choose to better myself, and be positive. So I am happy she spoke up about "gansta rap", 50, doesn't live that live anymore, THESE KIDS AND TEENS STILL DO.

Here's the thing, I spent the first half of my life in the hood, before my parent were able to afford to move us to the burbs, but some of my fam is still in the hood, so I was always able to see the life. When my cousins started realizing that the dope game wasn't all it was cracked up to be and got tired of seeing us talking to them through a prison glass, they stopped living like that.
It's a choice. There is always another way to make it, even if you're from the hood. The dope game isn't a glorious life. Pac told you he wasn't proud to ever sell rocks. I mean, Nas, Common, and them are still around but that's not who they're listening to for the most part.
What I'm trying to say that some people can't understand why today's gangsta rap isn't really relevant. These rappers are too soft. The rappers of the 80's and 90's weren't that soft. At all. So today's gangsta rap does sound like a bunch of garbage. It sounds petty. Even though Cube, was making gangsta music, there was still a story behind. We all know there was a story behind Pac's music, Nas & Commons music. Heck even Jay-Z early music and 2000's( didn't like him when he dumbed down his music in the mid 90's), but today's gangsta music doesn't even have story behind it. Not a good one. It's "I'm kill you, and all yours, just because I feel like."

Alicia's career is based on her god-given talent of musicianship and the beautiful music she creates. Your career is based on disrespecting your own people and women in general!! The way you talk about women in your songs is so trifling!! It's obvious you have no respect for women for you to come out your mouth about Alicia like you did. Alicia has never ONCE said anything derogatory about you and you're gonna diss her like that?? You can't even compare what you do to what Alicia does!! Alicia has a REAL talent a REAL skill. You just got lucky with yours. I'll give you credit as a smart business man but that's about as far as it goes.
So before you go flapping your lips next time about what someone said in an article maybe you need to check to make sure they actually said it!! If not then YOU NEED TO *** THE *** UP!!
I'm all super late, but I don't log on to MTO everyday. I'm reading these comments and everybody saying AKeys is entitled to her opinion....and she is. However, when you put your opinions out to the public, then be prepared for public scrutiny. 50 is entitled to his opinion as well. If she can speak her mind, then so can he, right?
And everyone is running to Alicia's defense saying that she was misquoted in a magazine and her comments were taken out of context......how do we know the same isn't true of this excerpt? I mean, this IS MTO!! And as far as Alicia's "God" given talent HoneyDiptSis...if it was that easy to become a multi-platinum, internationally known mega star in the rap game, everybody would be one. So don't disregard 50's talent; whether it be rapping, business, picking the right beats, marketing, etc. Alicia didn't just wake up and she knew how to play the piano, she learned. I'm not taking anything away from Alicia, because I think she's phenomenal. But stars expect backlash when they express their "opinion" in a public forum i.e. the media. I don't think 50's "beefing" with AKeys, he's just stating his opinion just like she did.
