A wig...wash and set it! Yep, just like you would your own hair. But make sure you don't put a syn wig under a dryer...it will have towel dried or just let it sit. You'll need a styling product of some kind so that you'll be able to set it as well as hair pins to make sure it sets the way you want.

I've never dyed my hair, but it's dry as hell. The people can't believe how red my hair is...it's light brown, gold, RED...it's all shades of brown...it's great when it's done, but it looks like a straight up nest when it's not. I have been relaxing my hair since 12. I used to have great ringlets, really thick...and relaxers served ONLY to turn it into jacked up crazy curls that make no *** sense.

Relaxers are a blessing and a curse!!! I wish I woulda listened to my momma....

I don't think I would dye my hair either when I grey up....I love grey hair!

Lu & Jaylens, Why are ya'll perming? Especially using Dark *** Lovely...thats what nappy hoes like myself use (I do actually use Dark *** Lovely. I like to do my own perms since I have been burned by the shop perms too many times) You guys just need a blowout kit or a texturizer. What I did when I went natural was to get my hair braided. I grew out my natural hair until it got to the length I wanted then I cut the perm off.
